Description of Work: This is the second time that we have used Miller Electric. The first time went great and the second time was no exception. In each case they wired a dedicated GFI outlet on its own circuit. |They arrived on time, their work was of very high quality and they did not exceed their estimated price.

Description of Work: We upgraded our kitchen lighting by replacing our 25-year-old fluorescent fixture with recessed and under-cabinet LED lights,, and we couldn't be happier. Dale Miller was very knowledgeable and patient as he explained our options. Carl, Steven, and Joe were very professional, conscientious, and courteous in their installation of the lighting. We wouldn't hesitate to use Miller & Miller for future electrical projects.

Description of Work: I needed them to locate and repair a "chaser" in the four light switches in my family room. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable and found the defective switch and replaced it. I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Miller and Miller are the most thorough and comprehensive electrical professionals I have ever used. They inspected, replaced and installed new wiring, receptacles and AC Load Centers after a catastrophic lightening strike. | |In addition, I had them pre-wire an attic HVAC unit in 2013 which they did on time and as priced per the quote. They also worked with my building contractor to move the AC Load Centers when new siding was installed. This entailed having them work and schedule their tasks with the contractor. Everything went smoothly. | |They are my go to electrical experts and I highly recommend them for small or large projects. Their work was infallible. I trust their work and opinions explicitly.

They came on time, worked efficiently, and told me what they were doing as they did it. Good enough for me. Only downside is the cost: they're professionals who charge professional prices.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company back in 2011. It turned out fine. They came out and they did the inspection with the report, which is what the deal stated. There were some minor issues that they found and I believe they fixed them that day.

Description of Work: He corrected a light that another electrician had messed up. He also diagnosed outlets that had been miswired. He also replaced an outside outlet. They sent out Cody, who is a young man, and he was excellent. He is very honorable and honest. He gives me faith in the quality of the work done.

Description of Work: A smoke alarm 15 feet high needed a battery replaced. Carl brought a ladder tall enough to do the job and found I had three more smoke alarms which he replaced because they were 13 years old. He provided them with ten year batteries so I am satisified that I will not be bothered by the constant chirping which annoyed me for several days.His time, both here and driving to pick up the smoke alarms, was over three hours. A real bargain!

Description of Work: I had called Mr Miller twice for him to COME TO THE HOUSE for an estimate. On the estimate day, I didn't hear from anyone, so I called the office. The office manager said he was tied up on a job, which I know that sometimes happens, but that he would be able to come to the house, but would be able to give me an estimate over the phone because he does this all the time. He would call me later that evening. He did at around 6:45. I told him the following work that needed to be performed, two dimmer switches, two pendant lights over the kitchen sink, that needed a new oulets ran. Two pendant lights over island, outlets there, move a socket from behind the stove, or install new socket down below. Install new outlet pendant over kitchen table, install new outlet in living room for chandelier and switch and existing light fixture over the front door. He said $700, I also asked about two ceiling fans and two lights to be installed upstairs that had existing outlets. He said if that would be total of $895. Wasn't sure if I was going to have him do the work, because at the time I had my brother who was available, maybe. They showed up about 8:30am 9, two guys, Wonderful clean, neat, professional, polite, excellent job, but when I asked about the upstairs work, they said they were told to leave at 2 to go to another job, and maybe or maybe not could get to it. Well time went on, and time ran out, they couldn't finish the last install of pendants over kitchen sink, with two guys on the job, which, I didn't know two guys were coming, or needed. And couldn't get to work upstairs. I asked one gentlemen if I could pay them for half the work, and he said he'd give me a bill for work so far. The other gentlemen said they could come back and finish on another day. Well the cleaned everything up, excellent job, and come back with a bill for $1,405!!!!!!. No way, that's not what I agreed to, and if Mr Miller had taken the time to come and look at work and job, he'd given me the right price in the beginning and I'd have told him to go fly a kite. Well, needless to say, the two workers had to call him, and 20 minutes later Mr. Miller calls trying to convince me of why I should now pay double for work that wasn't completed, and how now his men are giving him a detailed description of the work, and they were leaving a 2, to go to another job, but Mr. Miller told them to stay there until he got there, so i guess the next person was stiffed on arrival time and work time and jacked up on price. This conversation got escalated and I told him to take me to court, I wasn't paying double, and he could kick rocks. My son spoke to him as I now felt threatened, and my son told him that this wasn't going to continue, and Mr. Miller agreed to take original $700 and he would right off the rest. Entirely stressful set of circumstances. And believe me, he wasn't going to pull a fast one on me!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: I would just like to say that I couldn't have been more satisfied! The owners, husband/wife were extremely professional, coutereous, and exceptionally prompt and accomadating. I enjoyed all interactions with the company. I also felt that Dale Miller was as patient, thoughtful and professionally informative with advisement and suggestions as I could ever have expected. I also would like to add that they were excellent on the follow up call to see if the customer was satisfied with their service and were great with the anticipated finishing touches! I will definately recommend as well use them again in the future!
