As it turned out, the electric box needed rewiring and I needed some additional outlets in the garage for new automatic doors. They did all the work at once, which was helpful because I didn't have to call twice for the additional things. I feel good about the way things turned out, because now I know it's like it's supposed to be.

We had our house inspected and several outlets were found to be incorrectly wired/installed. Electrician came to our house and rewired some of the outlets. He found that the outlets in all of the bathrooms had been installed incorrectly, and in one case illegally. Correcting these problems entailed running a line from the breaker box across the garage attic and down a chase, where a junction box was installed. From this box, one line was taken down to one bathroom and 2 others were taken up the chase and through the house attic and down to the other bathrooms. They installed an entirely new outlet in a different location in one of the bathrooms. The whole job took 2 men 4 hours to complete.

It went very well. I am glad we called them. I would use them in the future.

I've been having a strange electrical issue with my stove tripping my breakers. Miller & Miller were the 4th electricians to take a look at the problem. Although they couldn't pinpoint exactly what was causing the breakers to trip, they made a good attempt and left me with a few suggestions.

When I called to make the appointment, Mrs. Miller was extremely cordial and helpful. She took down all my information and explained her husband would call me back later to give me an estimate and schedule an appointment. Mr. Miller called me back later that day as promised. He was very up front with the charges, giving me the service call fee, his hourly rate, and the approximate amount of time it would take to complete the install. He call 30 min prior to arrival, as promised, and arrived promptly. He was very thorough and professional, completing the job in about one hr, which was the time he estimated it would take. I would recommend Miller & Miller to anyone and plan on using them again should the need arise.

We had a somewhat challenging proposal for undermount lighting installation...mini-track xenon lights to be installed under our kitchen cabs without damaging the existing tumbled marble backsplash. A few electricians in the area declined this job outright, due to unfamiliarity with the product and the presence of the backsplash...but Miller & Miller came out, surveyed the job, and took it. It took their two-man crew longer than they had thought to get it done, but given the challenges of the project (one person had to be in the crawlspace and one in the kitchen to get the lines pulled; drilling small holes in the backsplash, cutting small holes into back of cabs), we are very happy with the outcome. Both Dale and Zack were a pleasure to have in our home and we will use them again.

Mr. Miller was very easy to work with. He was punctual, very professional and explained everything as he worked through the issue. I would definitely recommend Miller & Miller to anyone needing for electrical work.

The price was third highest of four quotes we received. However, Mr. Miller was extremely professional, provided a lot of helpful information and suggestions, and it was a toss up to select his quote over another. For any future electrical needs, I would surely put Miller Electric at the top of my list to call.

Called Dale and he was very responsive to coming out to give me an estimate on some work to be done around the house. He arrived on time and was very through in his estimate and took the time to answer questions and explain different options. I was going to be traveling for a couple of weeks after the estimate and scheduled an appointment for the next month. With the winter weather up north, I ended up coming home early, texted Dale and he was able to set up an appointment the next day. Zack showed up on time and immediately went to work with my two items. The best part was that after Zack got here and crawled under the house to get the ?lay of the land?, he realized that he could pull power from a different breaker box for the treadmill. So the job that was estimated at 4 hours, only took 1.25 hours. This equated to a HUGE labor cost savings. I was truly impressed because I fully expected the job to take 4 hours and was willing to pay that price. Another company might have milked me for the full amount, not Miller and Miller! I don?t see how anyone could get more honest than that!

I was extremely happy. They were courteous and what I really liked is that the owner spoke with me as things were going to explain everything. They are a bit old school and they clean up and drop down cloths. They threw out everything in the garbage can for me if I wanted it gone.

Very good experience. The price was fair and they were clean and fast. These are very knowledgeable folks.

I received two other quotes and Miller and Miller was inline with the other quotes we received. Dale came out to inspect the basement where the baseboard heat was located and discuss the potential locations for the new outlets. He followed up with a telephone quote later that afternoon. When we contacted Dale to schedule he had several options available for when they could come out and do the work. I followed up with Dale on a question, I had and he confirmed the time that Zack would arrive to do the work. Zack arrived on-time and we very professional. Zack did an incredibile job with installing the new outlets and other than seeing them on the wall, you'd never know work was done in the basement.

I called this company a couple years ago and even though Dale was hospitalized, his wife was able to give us information over the phone to solve our problem and save us money. So when new issues came up I knew who to call. The Millers are very responsive and professional. Our electrical issues were not trivial--in fact they had confused more than one handyman. But Dale was able to create workable solutions for most of the problems in a couple of hours. He rewired some of our switches and fixed some circuits that didn't work. Some of the simpler work that is required, was explained to my husband so now we can make some of the repairs on our own time and save money.

PERFECT! Gail sets up the appointments and is very responsive, she followed up the day after to see how it went. They were on time and patient with me when I was missing parts! They did everything to make sure the work was done just as I wanted. They were recommended to me by a friend (and Angie's List) and I would highly recommend them!

I called them a couple of days ago to get a ball park estimate on the work I needed done. Dale Miller was very polite on the phone and gave me an estimate that I thought was very fare for the work need. They were on time and called before they came. They did a wonderful job and made sure I approved of all the work when they were done. They were very courteous and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family and friends.

I contacted Mr. Miller to an estimate to replace aging landscaping lights at our neighborhood's front entrance. He examined the lighting system within a few days of my call and got back with me on his findings. He agreed that the lights needed replacement and pointed out that some had been installed in a manner that was against the electrical code. He expressed a concern that since the system was over 20 yrs old, it might need new wiring as well. Since he is basically a one-man operation, he didn't think that he wanted to do a job that might require digging up the wiring. He did recommend another company, however. I very much appreciated his candor and advice and would definitely call him for other electrical jobs.

This is the first time we have used Miller & Miller and they were able to give us a quote and perform the services we needed on a fairly short notice. This job required 2 persons and they were both very capable, as well as, very efficient with their time. They arrived 1 hour after the AC people arrived and were able to complete their portion of the job before the AC people left.

I had an electrical outlet that had stopped working during vacuuming. It happened on a Sunday and I contacted the company through their website. I received a prompt call Monday morning from the owner who sent someone out a few hours later. After unscrewing the cover, he quickly diagnosed 1 of the wires had detached from 1 of the screws. He replaced the electrical outlet and attached the wires back. The whole process was less than 20 minutes.

Arrived right on time. Understood exactly what to do and fixed it very quickly. Very friendly service. Will surely hire them again.

This is the 3rd time I've used Miller & Miller, and they're wonderful. They are VERY good about getting back with you if you leave a message, following up with you after the work has been done and do a great job. The electrician was able to come earlier than scheduled today, which was great for me. They always call before they arrive, and are professional, and genuinely nice people. The first time I used them, a year or so ago, I had a problem with a light intermittently going out, and called late one day, and they came out the next morning I think on a weekend, and fixed it. I would absolutely use them again.

I was exceptionally pleased with the rapid response. I discovered the smoking wire on a Friday morning as I was headed out the door to go to work. I called miller& miller and they assured me they would get someone out that morning. I was really pleased at how quickly the problemed was diagnosed and fix. Very professional and fast. I would strongly recommend using them to any family member as well as the general public. Honest, professional, and very reasonably priced.

I got the angie's list discount and the guy that came was great! Came in, quickly saw what the issue was and fixed in about 10 minutes. I would have NEVER figured that out. Highly recommend them.

The guys did great; they were professional, they did a quality job, and cleaned up everything behind them. Customer service at the office was also great to work with. The price may seem a little high to some, but you get what you pay for, and we paid for a quality job.

Everything did not go well. The young man that came out was in a hurry to get out of my house. He didn't even ask me to turn the electricity back on to see if the fan and light were actually operating. I think this is pretty basic. However, the Millers, promised me come out personally next time I need them for work to do other work for me. Mr. Miller said he would also drop the service charge next time. The Millers really tried very hard to make this right.

Very pleased with the service I received from Miller & Miller. I spoke to Dale and his wife on the phone, and they were both courteous, knowledgable, and responsive. The technician, Zach, showed up promptly and was very well spoken and professional. The outlets he installed for the microwave and hood were installed BEFORE the cabinets went in, so all he had to go on were schematic drawings of the kitchen design. He did a great job of reading the schematic and placed the outlets perfectly. I thought his work was very clean -- no splintered wood, outlets were level, and he cleaned all the debris up after he was done. The price seems a little high, but with this level of service, I have no complaints and would gladly use them again.
