Miller & Miller Electric Inc

Dale Miller inspected the electrical system in our house and found several items that needed to be repaired. He also educated me on how they could perform several electrical upgrades that we were interested in having done. We feel much more comfortable with the electrical system in the house we recently purchased now that Dale has inspected it.

Miller & Miller completed several upgrades to our electrical system and repairs that had been identified during their electrical inspection. Moving an outlet in the garage allowed us to install cabinets in the garage. They also installed a special surge protected outlet to protect some electronics. I was very impressed with Miller & Miller’s professionalism and expertise. I think their pricing is very good value.

I have not had any experiences with electricians. Knew from listening to others that it would be an expensive house call. I have an old house with a breaker system still in place. The one that had to be replaced was a little hard to find. The electrician went to several places in the area before locating the correct one. My bill was $350.00 total. There was about 3 hours worth of work. He answered some other general questions. He was informative. Made sure that I had no further needs. Gave me my old breaker in case one went out again, I could just take that one. I was satisfied. Just happy to have my 6 week electrical problem solved. Two days later, Miller and Miller's billing office called me. They had evaluated my bill and thought that the electrician's time would have been better spent utilizing phone calls vs driving to find the correct breaker. They didn't think the billing was fair. They told me that a refund check for $100.00 was in the mail to me.I have given their name out to atleast 5 other people who are in search of electricans. I've told twice that amount of people of the service I received from the technician and the office itself. Definitely will use them again!Sharon

I would say overall it went with aplomb. Carl did a great job, explained things as he went, accommodated stud placements, and consulted me on matters of convenience and appearance. This was actually the second time I have hired Miller and Miller in the past month; the first time was for a dryer plug install (which was a very complicated routing issue through all three stories of our house). When Carl and Dale were here before, they talked with me about the sconces so that I had an idea of what to expect. The price would have been lower had we not had a preexisting wiring snafu that needed to be fixed. Also, a part of the price includes a lot of new electrical hardware. Just to explain so you understand why the price is actually quite good. The quality is incomparable. Carl cleaned up after his work as well. We definitely consider Miller and Miller our family's go-to electricians!

We called Miller & Miller for an electrical problem what was preventing our range from working properly. It was determined on a Thursday afternoon that the problem was electrical and after looking on Angie's List we called M&M. They scheduled it for Saturday morning indicating that there would be no additional charge for Saturday service. Carl from M&M called Saturday morning at the specified time, verified the problem and stopped for parts before coming to the house. He was extremely polite and replaced the receptacle in a very short time. He put the drawer back in the range and offered to sweep the floor to clean up the little bit of debris from the repair. I highly recommend Miller & Miller for a top-notch job at a reasonable price.

They were good and ensured everything was fine. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Their service was excellent. Carl was extremely polite and did a great job and cleaned up all the mess afterwards. I see why they have so many good reviews and would be happy to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

Our experience with Dale was very positive. Both my wife and I thought he was very professional and helpful. His inspection was thorough and he explained in detail what he was checking for. His inspection and discussions were not rushed. He spent a fair amount of time explaining items that needed attention and also, spent time answering questions about other electrical work that we would like to have done. We are planning to contract with him to do future electrical work at our home and would highly recommend him and his company.

The electrician that came to my home was very professional and being a bit of an electrician myself he was more than willing to explain simple electrical codes and standards with me. The work was done in a very timely manner and I was even able to get to the latter half of the work day! I will definitely call on them again when the need arises, thanks again Miller and Miller!

It went well. Dale showed me the lights a few days before they were installed & gave me the name of a drywall repair person so I could have my ceiling repaired after. The reference was very good as well as was Miller & Miller. The only thing I wish would have been different was to have the undercabinet light switch as part of the overhead light panel so I could avoid more face plates in wall. I would definitely discussed this with Dale or Karl, his employee before to be sure all options are used. The Millers were very nice & informative, there 2 employees were very good & worked very hard.

Prompt, professional service. Electrician arrived when he said he would. Job was reviewed and he went right to work. Cleaned up after himself, like he was never there. The job took a bit longer than quoted, which had the price more than what was quoted.

Scheduling was prompt and work was performed efficiently.

This was my 1st experience with Angie's List. Reviewed and selected Dale Miller based on ratings and comments from others. He came by and gave me an estimate. Scheduled a time to coordinate with my painter/siding repair worker - as the siding behind the box had to be replaced as well. Arrived on-time and got right to work.. His estimate was accurate. He had some extra work as the box didn't have a supportive mount behind it. He corrected that issue. Everyone worked well together to get the job done. Great experience and would highly recommend him.

We made the apointment talking to Gail Miller who is very friendly and couteous. We scheduled the inspection and met Dale Miller who is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and willing to help you figure out how to best do things for whatever our particular situation called for. We made a list of things together as I went with him from room to room; he did not need me to do this but was OK with it. We identified may things that could be brought up to code and that needed repair. He worked up the list sent it to me for review and we made an apointment that week for a technicia to come out and do the rpairs. Karl was very professional, polite and competent at what he does. He also did some extra things we asked for which were not on the list. He was concscious of trying tosave us money and was fun to talk to as I even learned a few things from him.I would highly recommend Miller and Miller electric.

We were very pleased with the installation of all 13 light fixtures and fans. Our home presented a unique challenge in that the family room, dining room and foyer have 20ft ceilings. Miller and Miller came prepared with an extra tall ladder and handled everything professionally. They even moved their schedule around to come back later that week and install a 220 line to our second floor game room for a window unit air conditioner because it has been so hot. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will defintately use them again. Thanks Dale, Gail and Carl.

Dale came by late one afternoon and looked at the ceiling (no access from the attic) and gave me a price. His employee came the next week and did an EXCELLENT job of figuring out exactly where the lights should go to look the best. He was very careful with his measurements and fished all the wires so not to disturb the newly painted ceiling. The lights look fantastic. I couldn't be more pleased.

The company was able to accomodate my schedule needs within one week of my inquiry. They called the morning of to verify appointment time. Dale and Carl were on time! Very professional! Great work! They made me feel like my job was important, even though I understand it was a small job. They even found and corrected some incorrect wiring in my light switch when they tested the one of the fans. Both answered all my questions. I feel like they are very honest and trustworthy. As I shared with the owner, Dale, they were not the cheapest quote I received; but page after page of extremely positive reviews on Angie's List convinced me that they were the better choice. I'm not sorry about my decision. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and offered to provide references if ever needed. Thank You Angie's List! I have an electrical contractor that I will use for all my needs in the future!

Overall it could not have gone better. We had an initial meeting on site, then they spent considerable time helping me plan the lighting rennovation. There were three meetings total during this planning phase plus numerous phone calls, but they were always patient with my methodical approach. I was not charged for the many hours they devoted prior to the start of work. Once the project started, they arrived at the appointed time with suffient crews to complete the work quickly and efficiently. There were mutiple times when they had to pull off the job to interface with the ceiling contractor and then return to resume thier work, and always returned promptly. Dale gave me a detailed written estimate at the outset and kept me appraised about costs as they were incurred. The project came in under the projected budget. The contractor and his crews were always professional, personable and a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the project. I always felt that they were trying to ensure I got a great result.

Dale stopped by to listen to our request. He mapped out the plan exactly how we wanted it and cost the job within a day and reviewed with us the cost of everything (material labor, etc.).... Given his high rating in Angies's list I decided to go with Dale. Working with both Dale and Gail was a real pleasure, they make a good team... Gail provided info. on the permit process, and managed all the email / phone communications.... On the day of the work Dale and one assistant arrived early, went right to work and finshed by the end of the day.... they took the time to show me things along the way during the day, concluded with ensuring all worked as planned at the end and did a nice job of clean-up before leaving. It was very efficient and exactly what we wanted/expected.... We are very happy with the project and would highly recommend Dale and Gail for any home electrical project....

Based on my research on Angies List, I contacted Miller and Miller to perform the above services. The lady that I originally talked to said that she would have to get Dale Miller to get back with me to give me an estimate. I waited a number of days, hearing nothing from them and called them back. They immediately apologized saying that the phone number they had recorded was incorrect and were hoping I would call back. Once that small problem was corrected, everything went very well. Mr. Miller told me the hourly rate and the amount they charged for a service charge. He estimated that they would most likely be able to complete the work in a couple hours. He wasn't sure if one person would be able to install the pool table light but he would send one in the hope I could save some money. As it turned out, two workers were needed. On the day the work was performed, they got delayed at their previous job site but called to let us know they were running late. When the first man arrived and determined he would need help, he called and the second man (Dale Miller) showed up without undue delay. They worked efficiently and the results were outstanding. I am very happy with the light over the pool table. This involved more than just installing a light fixture because it had to be hung at a predetermined height over the table. They did an excellent job getting that done. They also found out what was wrong with the outside outlets and corrected that problem very expeditiously. Mr. Miller also told me what to do to prevent moisture from getting behind those outlets and shorting out the GFI. Both men who came were extremely polite and professional. They were also willing to answer any questions my wife and I had about other possible electrical tasks.

This is an usual recommendation because Dale didn't do any work for us but his responsive, willingness to talk about the scope and cost of our project and his willingness to offer suggestions for the project to be successful were so very helpful!

The circuit wasn't tripped so I knew I needed to reset the GFI outlet but couldn't locate it. When I called with the issue Gayle was very pleasant and even said that was likely the issue and felt bad that it would cost for them to come. But hey, I couldn't find it. Well, in no time the electrician found the problem. He was extremely pleasant. I will absolutely use them in the future!

With one phone conversation and some suggestions by them and my problem was salved without any cost to me! I will use them when I have a more complicated electrical problem.

I was having 4 random beeps going off from my smoke detectors (2 in particular) at random times for the past two years. I decided to finally do something about it and called Miller & Miller Electric the morning of 4/20 and received a call within 15 minutes. They were at my house within an hour and began testing the smoke detectors. After testing and checking all of the wires with no issues occurring, I made the decision to have all 11 smoke detectors swapped out to see if that would fix the problem. He did a great job and did it quickly. After the technician left, my problem resurfaced. I called them back and they said they would come back the next morning to further inspect the wiring. They showed up the next morning and began testing the wiring further and found no problem with the flow of electricity. The next step given to me was to call the electric company and have them put a meter on my meter to test power surges. If the beeping coincides with the power surges, then I have my culprit...the electric company. Due to the unusual issue I had, Miller & Miller decided not to charge me for their 2nd visit to my house. I can't thank them enough for their quick response to my problem, their expertice and advice on what to do from here. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them in the future.

We learned of Miller & Miller on Angie's list and called them. Gail Miller took the call and answered my questions about the company and took a detailed report on what we wanted done. She was very knowledgable and professional, and said I would get a call from Dale Miller. Dale set up an appointment for soon after my initial call and came to the house to see the kitchen and to measure the cabinets. We selected the brand and size of the light fixtures and Dale spent a lot of time with me at my house and on the phone and drew a detailed schematic for the two of us to use in our phone calls and on site discussions so we would each be using the same measurements for planning and purchase. I couldn't find all the sizes we needed and so Dale arranged to pick up the missing ones at another company so we could stay on schedule and he had them brought to my house. The day of the installation I wanted the fixtures placed closer to the front than the installers were placing them, but because the area didn't have much overhead light and I needed more work counter light than backsplash light, they checked with Dale and then worked with me to find the best placement for each of the fixtures. I was very happy with the end result. A bonus for us was that Dale recommended a great company to do our backsplash and we were very happy with them as well. Last month when I called to arrange the ceiling fan installation, the electrician, Carl, arrived on time to install it and it works perfectly I am calling tomorrow to arrange installation of a second fan in another room.
