I am so happy that we hired Miller and Miller Electric to update the electrical system in the 60 year old house that we just bought! From the outset, it was clear that the owners of this company, Gail and Dale, truly care about their customers and the quality of their work. From the beginning our calls were always returned promptly, and both Millers communicated proactively and efficiently by both phone and email throughout this major project. When we were first looking for an electrician, Dale came to our house and gave us a through assessment, which was followed by a detailed written estimate. He explained the work that needed to be done, and why, and how it would be performed. The week that the work was scheduled there was torrential rain that caused major delays, but his team worked through it all. Meanwhile, I asked for additional work to be done (new places to put ceiling fixtures, swapping out old fixtures, etc). In the midst of stress and chaos Dale always met my requests with respect and honesty, and when what I wanted wasn't possible, he always offered other options and solutions. We are very happy with all the results. The actual work performed by the entire team was done with intelligence and great care--there was very minimal cutting of walls and ceilings, and in the midst of rain and mud the team made sure that our newly painted walls and refinished floors stayed spotlessly clean. Now that it's done, the wiring has clean lines and is safe within walls and fixtures. Outside, the new manifest is securely bolted all the way through the brick. There was one last thing that really impressed us and left us with a really good feeling. The job wrapped up the day the movers arrived. Rather than trying to wrap up in the midst of moving, Dale took the time to come back to our house the next day to review the details of the work and how it correlated to the invoice. Because of the rain delays, work changes and general stress, as we were sitting down my husband and I briefly wondered if we were about to get hit with an unpleasant surprise. But Dale had made it all work, and the whole job actually came in a bit lower than the original estimate. It is truly a pleasure to work with people who are intelligent, who care about the quality of the work they do, and who care about their customers as well. Again, we are so happy that we hired Miller and Miller do this work. I will call them again when we tackle our next project, and have great confidence in recommending them.

While our heat pump was being replaced on Saturday, a dangerous electrical issue was discovered. I found Miller & Miller Electric on Angie's list Sunday night and emailed using the provided link. Minutes later, Gail Miller called and we scheduled an appointment for 7 the next morning. I was floored by the rapid response. Dale showed up on time, assessed the situation and made arrangements to get our AC safely running again by lunch time.OUTSTANDING SERVICE, very professional and a high quality repair.Did I mention that temperature was in the 90-100 degree range for days. Dale got us cooling again before the heat of the day set in.I would definitely recommend Miller & Miller Electric to friends and will use them again when the need for an electrician arises.

The checklist appointment was amazing. The electrician went in the attic to check wiring, checked every outlet to make sure they were working, went under the house to check wiring and last but not least, went to both breaker boxes! I was amazed at the amount of work for the special price! The electrician found an issue and a few days later fixed that issue for a reasonable rate! I would definitely use again!

Very good. Dale did the work and was a great person to talk to while he did his work. I like things explained each step of the way which he did very well. I am so happy with the work he did which was locating a short that was keeping a circuit faulted. He spent two hours troubleshooting step by step. He found all the issues (powerwashed house yesterday and the service swamped my outdoor outlets and shorted them out). Dale is very thorough and professional and very interesting to talk to.I highly recommend.

In this instance, the need to replace a ceiling fan in our Master bedroom was becoming almost an emergency based on the fan making an obnoxious noise due to a wobble when the fan was set to a medium-high setting. We had no idea why the fan would wobble when no other fan in any other room had that issue. Having worked with Miller & Miller before, Gail was very considerate towards my schedule & worked to make an appointment that also worked for me within a short timeframe. The work, while didn't take long to perform, took some doing to determine why the fan was wobbling. Turns out, someone put a piece of wood in place, that wasn't needed or required, that caused the wobble. Once the piece of wood was removed, the wobble & the noise was gone & we now have a great new ceiling fan. The team is either on time or early (with a call to let me know that they're running ahead of schedule) & are always professional, curteous & respectful of my home to where they make sure to take precautions to keep my house clean of dirt & debris that may fall during their work, as well as cleaning up after they've completed their work. I LOVE working with Miller & Miller Electric!!! In fact, they are the ONLY electric company that I will work with anymore - that's how great I believe that they are based on Customer service (how many companies today forget this very important piece of a business?!), quality of work (they care so much about this that they have a 1 year warranty on all of their work, which also shows you the pride that they take in completing a job the right way!!!!), price, willing to work within my schedule & work ethics. You won't regret using Miller & Miller - just remember the saying that you've heard growing up, "you get what you pay for" & you won't want to look at any other company to handle your electrical.

This is the second time they have done work here. Everything went well. Spoke to Dale on phone and described situation and he was kind enough to explain some things to me which I appreciated. Electrician showed up on time and everything went smoothly. This is a very professional company that is punctual, does a good job and offers quality customer service. They have my confidence and will use them again.

We sent them the inspection report, they called with an estimate based on assumed man hours, and then came and did the work as scheduled, coming in UNDER budget. Pleasant and reliable overall.

Summary:I am very satisfied with the work done, the manner in which it was done, and the quality of the work, to the best of my abilities to judge. I will use this company again. Estimate/pre-work:The business owner visited once to discuss my needs and scope out the work. He was on-time and professional. He visited again to present his estimate. We reviewed his hand-written estimate, but he did not prepare a copy for me to keep, as he had not been back to his office that day to scan it. I took a picture with my camera phone, which was good enough. I put him off while I looked for other estimates, but in the mean time thought I had discovered faulty wiring. I had him back to do his inspection service (at a rate discounted for Angie's List members). He found a few additional issues in the home and crawlspace that I had not noticed, but no general wiring problem. His finds were actual problems that I could see needed to be addressed. Two other electrical contractors did not answer my phone or email requests, so I went with Mr. Miller's company without further itemized estimates. Work:Two Miller & Miller employees came over as scheduled, went over the items with me, made sure they had the right materials, and got the work moving quickly. The worked together to speed the job of light installation wiring them in to the shower stalls, and the ceiling fans, and then individually replaced all the switches and outlets and plates. They were friendly but professional, and made improvements as necessary (e.g., fixed loose receptacle boxes). They were clean-cut and kept the work sites clean overall. Once done, they went over their work with me, and explained the fans' remote controls to my mother-in-law who resides in the town home. As best I can tell the work was all done to a good quality. For example, wires were screwed into terminals, not simply forced into knife-blade connector prongs. I paid by time and materials, essentially, so since the time turned out to be shorter than estimated, the cost was lower than expected. Since there were more than 40 switches and outlets to be done, I was also given a bit of a break on the materials cost, which was unexpected but appreciated. Post-work:After the contractors left, we found that one bathroom still had insulation garbage left in the shower stall. Further, I had forgotten that Mr. Miller and I had put the crawlspace work on the order, and his employees did not mention it either. Mr. Miller offered to send his guys back to complete those tasks free of charge. Since I had not remembered them myself, I offered to pay half, but Mr. Miller insisted on making the situation right free of charge. They came back by a few days later as scheduled, did the work, and presented a zero-balance invoice as promised. While I was able to obtain no other estimates in a timely manor for comparison, I believe the cost was a good value for the work done. The overall experience was positive, and I plan to use this company in the near future.

I discussed work to be done over the phone with Mr. Miller, he estimated how long each item would take, and gave me a total cost estimate. The electrician showed up on time, and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had purchased the wrong type of smoke detector, and the ceiling fan needed replacing. The electrician made his recommendations and I went out and got the replacements while he was completing the other work. Overall the work was done in a few hours, the work was perfect, and the cost was in line with Mr. Miller's estimate. I highly recommend Miller and Miller to anyone needing any kind of electrical work done.

Our attic exhaust fan had died, so we called Miller & Miller to come replace it. I described the type of fan, and they gave us an accurate quote over the phone, warning us about the hourly charges in case something was off and they needed extra time to fix it. They came out on time, fixed it in the expected timeframe, and the estimate was dead-on. It's working like a champ now, we were very happy.

Dale Miller performed the inspection. He was very knowledgeable and patient, and provided me with a lot of good information. He also found several things that were missed by our home inspector. Would definitely recommend his company due to their thoroughness and good customer service.

The service was EXCELLENT. Gail Miller in the office was a pleasure to work with. She was helpful, friendly, and professional. She scheduled the estimate and the actual work date. Dale Miller came by for the estimate and was very friendly, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Ricky the technician who came to do the actual work was also great. He knew his stuff and worked hard at getting everything just right. I will definitely call on Miller and Miller Electric when I am in need of an electrician in the future. I had a great experience and will recommend them to others.

I had replaced my fire alarms last year and was concerned about other electrical issues that I may not be able to identify. The electrician performed a thorough inspection and found two minor items that I needed to correct. He also provided a photo of the outside A/C electrical box which needed to be repaired. I would highly recommend the company.

On 4/16 I heard a somewhat loud buzzing sound coming from somewhere in my kitchen. When I looked to see what it was, I briefly saw sparks coming from a GFCI outlet in my kitchen wall. I immediately became concerned about the electrical wiring in my house, since also--just the night before--a television set had "blown out" in my living room. I found Miller and Miller on Angie's List, called them after regular business hours (around 7 or 8 PM), and--when the answering machine picked up--left a brief message. Before I even had a chance to put the phone down, Gail was returning my call via her cell phone. She must have been dialing my number while I was leaving a message on the business line. After asking what my situation was, she reviewed their billing structure with me, and advised me that they could come out the next afternoon to check out the problem. The guys came out the next afternoon as promised, once again asked about what was going on, and then checked out the outlets I told them I suspected had problems. As they worked, they advised what was ok, and explained what needed replacing and why. I was very happy with the service as well as with the professionalism of the two electricians and the overall experience.

Very professional and accurate in estimating costs and time to repair.

Technician arrived a little late but that was no problem as he made up the time by checking the list with me and got right to work. He was working non stop! He took care of all of the items on the list and kept me informed of what he was doing and why and he worked hard to get done on time! I even added a few items and he knocked them off and the additional price was still in my range! These people are simply the best! I would have them back in my house anytime and I have recommended them to friends! They are great people!

Everything was excellent! They were very professional. They had to reschedule initially because they had overbooked. So we rescheduled. The service was outstanding. One guy, I believe it was Mr. Miller?he was very nice. He explained everything, was very patient, and took time with me. He went above and beyond. The price of this Big Deal was great for all that he did.

Actually finished more than I expected and ran out of projects before time was up.

Dale responded to my inquiry promptly and scheduled a day and time to come and perform the electrical inspection service. He called and let me know he was on his way and arrived ahead of schedule. All work was performed properly and everything was communicated completely. Dale took the time to listen to my input, questions and concerns and took all of that into account as he performed the service. I am completely satisfied and will call to schedule more work; I would highly recommend this electrician.

I think I had to wait a few days from the time I called to ask someone to come out and the actual appointment, but I had told them I wasn't in a hurry, and it wasn't an emergency. In the interim I decided to have the light on the back deck replaced, and there was no problem when I called to ask if it could be added to the job. Ricky was on time, professional and courteous. He was here around an hour. I haven't had any problems since the work was done. I have used Miller & Miller before, and will continue to use them. I have always been satisfied with their work.
