Our appointment was for 2:30 but Ricky called around 1 to see if he could come by early. He quickly spliced the ground wire and hung the light fixture for me. Since there was still time left in my hour, he hung a second fixture for me. Great work, timely, and worth every penny to know it was done right! Will definitely call again.

I found Miller & Miller Electric on Angie's List and have been extremely pleased with their service. I have recently used them on two occasions as I am preparing my house for sale. This is a family business, owned by Dale and Gail Miller, and their pride in ownership and concern about providing a quality service is quite evident. As a retired Special Deputy Attorney General, it is a pleasure to offer this company my highest recommendation as they deliver excellent and competent electrical installation and service. When I called to make an appointment, I found that Gail took the necessary time to understand exactly what needed to be done. She was very patient in explaining the scope of work involved and was properly knowledgeable in responding to all of my questions. Carl was the electrician who performed the services at my house on both service calls. He was prompt, arriving exactly on time on both occasions. He went straight to work, moving efficiently through the various tasks. Carl projected a professional demeanor and was able to explain what he was doing in a way that I, as a person very unfamiliar with electrical terminology, was able to understand. He responded confidently about a difficult electrical installation problem when questioned by my interior decorator, who happened to be at my house during one of the service calls. She was very impressed with the depth of his knowledge of the situation, which had stumped other electricians that she had consulted. I am planning to buy another house in the area after I sell this one, and I will certainly look to Miller & Miller for any future electrical work.

There was a mixup between me and the scheduler, so I called this afternoon about 45 minutes after I thought they were due to arrive to see if they were going to show up. The woman who answered was apologetic, and pulled an electrician who was off-duty to come help me immediately. The electrician who came out was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Once he completed the task I had called them out for, he asked if there was anything else he could do since I had paid for an hour of his time. I asked him to look at my panel and some home theatre wiring that I had done on my own. The price seemed a little high for me ($95/hour, one hour minimum, plus a $55 trip charge, for a total of $150), but maybe that's what electricians charge nowadays. I was very satisfied with the level of service provided by the electrician and the dispatcher, however.

.Unreachable smoke alarm seemed to be chirping. It was not. One of two carbon monoxide detectors was the cause. They were easily accessible and when removed to the outside, it was clear that was where the chirping was coming from. They replaced the batteries and did not charge me for anything. I really like these guys!

It's fantastic. Everything they did turned out great. I'm very satisfied with them. I highly recommend him.

There was a bit of a scheduling snafu which wasn't a huge deal as they had their guy out later the day we thought we were scheduled. He was honest, quick about his work and cleaned up the mess. Answered quite a few questions while he worked. Definitely would use them again. Note this is after i had the $99 whole house inspection which was really thorough and made me feel a lot better about my older home. I was pleased with that experience as well. I feel confident of who i would call for most electrical work i need done around the house.

They are very friendly, prompt, and professional. The only problem we had while the electrician was here is that we asked him about installing a light under our stove. He said that they would call us and they never got back to us. We haven't tried contacting them, but we have decided to put that project on hold.

Miller & Miller Electric, Inc., were very helpful that day and came back one more time to work on some more things that they found. The price was above and beyond the Big Deal price. I think that was one of my concerns, I wasn't sure about the cost. They did good work, they were pleasant and very helpful. He stayed the first day because I knew there was something going on that wasn't okay and he stayed really trying to figure it out and it took a long time. So, I had him go ahead and fix it that day and then he came back out and did some other things. Actually, someone else in the company came out and I wasn't there, my sister was there. They did a good job; it just seemed a little expensive to me, but I don't know about electrical work. I think the gentleman that owns the business is the one that came out the first time. I just don't know the hourly rate to come out and work on stuff. He gave me a list of everything that needed to be done and I decided to not have a number of the things done because I just didn't have that money right now. I trusted their work but I would have a second quote before I had them come out again. If the quotes are similar or the same I would go with them again. I would need to know the going rate for electrical work or for things to be done. Miller & Miller Electric, Inc., was there one time.

Dale Miller (the Owner) came out and gave me an estimate after looking at all the details. The next day the two installers came out to install the lighting. The installers were extremely professional. Making sure to keep me informed along the way as the project developed. They made sure to prepare the workspace by moving any furniture that needed to be moved, put down drop clothes to catch all debris and when finished returned the rooms to exactly how they found them. Overall a great experience and I would recommend Miller and Miller without hesitation to any friends or neighbors.

First, the service provided by Miller and Miller was exceptional. In addition to being competent electricians, Gail Miller worked extensively with me and the buyer's agent to order parts and schedule repairs such that I could sell my house by my desired closing date. My entire electrical panel box needed to be replaced due to years of condensation inside the box corroding the breakers and the main ground buss bar. Miller and Miller worked with me to get the right parts ordered and make the repairs after I sold the house. They provided a letter to my buyer's agent stating that delaying the repairs until after closing was not a safety issue which enabled me to close on time. I would highly recommend Miller and Miller Electric for any size residential electrical repair.

It was a relatively small job, as far as electrical work goes, but it went incredibly well. We have used many electricians before over the years, but these guys were incredible! From the moment we made contact on the phone, they were professional, thorough, accurate, and just all-around fantastic. We would absolutly call them again!!

I got Miller & Miller's name from Angie's list. Owner Dale Miller responded quickly and offered to do an onsite estimate. Dale is very professional as well as determined to explain the situation in an understandable way. I was so impressed that he offers a whole house inspection on all things electrical. This is a great service. Its clear that safety is important without his being a fear monger. Once the estimates were in and scheduled, he and his two electricians reported on time, were exceptionally neat and professional and finished the job in a timely manner. Dale's wife Gale manages the office. I found her to be very efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional as well. This company is a gem and now my "go to" electricians every time. They are all so professional and polite it is a truly a pleasure working with them. I have no hesitation in referring my client's to them with confidence that they will provide the same reliable service every time. Price-wise, they are not the lowest price nor the highest price but I learned long ago that quality workmanship never sells for the least amount of money.

We have never had an electrician we have been really happy with. Until now. While they were simple tasks, we were happy with their work. A situation came up and they were honest about it when they could have taken advantage of us. We appreciate that. We will likely call them back when we have other electrical projects.

I had no trouble reaching them and arranging a time. Carl, the electrician who arrived, was very competent. He completed my porch outlets repair and then evaluated options for installing the exterior outlet. The wall for the new outlet contains wind bracing, which is in the way of running additional wires, and the area under the house is a long way from the crawlspace door and under a very low deck. He discussed ideas with me, mindful of labor costs, and found a way to install the outlet exactly where I wanted it. The final cost was appropriate for the job based on what other electricians have charged me. I will definitely use them again.

We are new homeowners and a week after moving in we started experiencing electrical problems - lights dimming, AC wasn't turning on, and it seemed like our appliances in the kitchen were working at half power. We immediately called an electrician, fearing the worst, however were pleasantly surprised with the advice we received. We called a little before 7:00 AM on a Monday morning, but there was no answer and we did not leave a message. A couple minutes later we received a return phone call. I can't remeber her name but the woman we initially spoke with had us describe our problem, and before 8:00 AM we had spoken with an electrician. The electrician I spoke with suggested we call our power company first to: save money by ruling out any power line problems/issues in the cables serving the house (the power company would replace at no cost to us), and/or determine where along the line the problem was occuring. He said he could come out and take a look at the situation, but to save time and ultimately our money, we would be better off talking with the power company first. As it turned out, one of the lines going from the street to our house was not working. In the end a simple phone call to Miller and Miller saved us a couple hundred dollars - what an unscrupulous person might have charged us to come out and assess the problem. Plus when we initially spoke to Miller and Miller the woman we spoke to directed us to unplug our 'fridge because if we were working at half power it could ruin the appliance......which would have cost another couple hundred to replace. Although no work had to be done by Miller and Miller we will definitely call them when we start our home renovations!

Ricky and Carl Miller (sons of Dale) arrived at our house on time and assessed the possibility of creating a line from our basement to the circuit breaker on the upper level and other side of the house. They checked out our walls and made a plan which was a complicated but excellent solution in order to make the most efficient connection. A few days later Ricky, Carl and Dale arrived and focused on getting the job done. They removed a wall panel, drilled up through the floor, came out behind the stove upstairs and connected to the wiring up above. They created a new circuit breaker and installed thermostats on the lower level so that the under floor heating system would later be installed and controlled. They worked hard and were very knowledgeable and efficient. We then had the heating and tile system installed by the tiler. A month later, the system was checked out and we are very very pleased with the total project. We would highly recommend this company.

I am going to use him again in the future for two jobs that he has already quoted me on.

He was very professional and explained why things needed to be done a certain way, identified needed parts and procured them for me. It was a very pleasant experience. They were prompt in responding with an estimate and arrived on time. I would definitely use them again.
