Description of Work: After 12 noon, I had an electrical issue. I called Miller & Miller. I had used them previously and had a wonderful experience. For my convenience, someone coming out the same day I couldn't figure out the problem was a long shot...."I have a guy finishing up soon, he's a distance away. If he's able to be there in in 2 hours or so is that ok?" OMG "YEA!" Rick was the technician. Did some safety checking on some repairs I had made to correct the problem and the worked his way backwards. I ask a lot of questions because I like to learn to do some things myself. He was completely at ease of me hanging around and picking his brain as he went. He finished the job and was on his was to the truck for the invoice. I couldn't wait. I had to call the office of Miller and Miller to tell them what a WONDERFUL technician they had in their employment. "Do whatever it takes to keep Rick!" He answered off the task questions I had about electrical issues without interrupting his work. I will request Rick from here out if possible! If you have any questions about hiring someone to fix your electrical problems, DO NOT go to anyone else! Sharon Greenlee

Description of Work: Second project by the Millers. They installed three outlets. They were prompt, did the job as described, cleaned up and were done early.

Description of Work: They replaced my ceiling fans and recessed lights which installed on a twenty foot ceiling. They also repaired various smaller problems I was having with some switches. Overall, it was a pleasure doing business with them. They were very professional, respectful and I would definitely use them again. I thought their price was quite reasonable given the degree of difficulty with the work. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Description of Work: We have been extremely pleased with our dealings with Miller and Miller. Our first involvement was a couple of months ago when we took advantage of their $99 home electronics inspection special. Dale Miller was punctual, pleasant, thorough and professional. We had checked Angie's List before we took advantage of this offer...the comments and ratings were excellent with the number of comments far exceeding any other electrician in the area. On 8/17/11 Mr. Miller and co-worker came to install a new lighting fixture with needed wiring and install an outlet for a new dishwasher. We were very pleased with their work. They also walked through our home with us as we listed potential electrical needs and provided us a very prompt estimate by email. I should add that our home is located in Chapel Hill which is obviously not right around the corner from his location on Strickland Rd. in Raleigh.

Description of Work: The electrician (Carl?) was reasonably prompt. He completed the work in a timely manner. Very courteous. Will use them again.

Description of Work: We needed an electrical outlet installed above the fireplace for a TV. I called, got a rough estimate over the phone, they were at our house the next day and the work was done. He didn't have a part in his truck so he went to the store and didn't apply time it took to get what he needed against the labor cost which was good. Lastly, when I got home from work the area he did the work was clean and very well displayed. Can't beat it....

Description of Work: Called about a potential issue at the request of a HVAC repairman. Mr. Miller returned my call quickly and so very helpful He stated the issue that the HVAC guy said was electrical could not be electrical. Mr. Miller understood the issue and gave me so much advise. I would call and hire him in a heartbeat

Description of Work: Miller & Miller helped me get my previous house ready to sell, and helped me with our new (old) home as well. I have used them for fixing electrical problems that were found by my inspector, hanging ceiling fans and lights, adding electrical outlets, and other electrical service. They have always been fast, friendly, and very professional. I will use them for all future electrical work.
