Description of Work: I needed a light added to my pantry and a GFCI outlet replaced. They arrived when they said they would (which can not be overstated). The price they quoted was the price I was charged. I am happy with the work they did.

Description of Work: Air conditioner was not turning on. I needed a new breaker. The electrician pinpointed the problem immediately and fixed it quickly. Was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: First the good. They showed up when they said they would. They were very clear what the price would be and there were no surprises. Now the bad. I had a water leak with our master bath tub. They did not find the leak. They did see a previous leak from the master bath shower, which was a red herring. *I* eventually found the leak myself and determined that the shower no longer leaked.

Description of Work: After a home inspection (for sale of my house), there was a suspected leak that could have required cutting a large hole in the family room ceiling. I called Michael and Son as they had access to a small camera probe. From the scheduling (and the scheduler and I had a conversation about details of what I needed), follow-up via email, call(s) on the day of the appointment, and technician visit, everything was handled professionally and went smoothly. The technician was friendly and helpful and provided me with a diagnostic report and pricing estimate that I could provide back to the buyers. He worked thoroughly but carefully so as not to open up too big a hole in the ceiling or leave a mess. He explained everything to me to my satisfaction. I was satisfied with this visit from Michael and Son.

Description of Work: A little disappointing. I needed to have a remote replaced for a ceiling dan/light and wound up having to go to Lowe's to get a replacement which burnt out. The dimmer function was not on the remote they supplied. As always, the referral was very nice and hard-working

Description of Work: I found Michaels and Sons to be overpriced as they have set prices for jobs - given ours were straightforward the price was high based on per hour labor. |Jonathan the technician was very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: The technician installed a new Rheem tank-style hot water heater. The technician was very nice, professional and courteous. My only reservation was the overall cost seemed high for the hot water heater and the service. When the same type/model hot water heater was replaced in 2004, the cost was around $1200. The cost of the tank was not much higher than the tank replaced; however, the cost of the installation service seemed to be significantly higher even though it was a fairly simply replacement task.

Description of Work: Diagnosed problem with AC. Showed with gages and explaination the problem, which made clear the company that had been before and claimed to and charged for fixing the AC had infact only gotten the AC started and running for only a few hours. Gave information to help me decide to repair or buy new. Showed me how to get the AC working for a few hours at a time to help with me staying in the house.
