John, the service representative, wasawesome! He was a great representative of the company and for service persons in general. He was very professional and courteous, a pleasure to do business with. He really helped lower the stress of not having hot water. He came in the morning as promised and did a great job installing the new heater. The system works great and it is wonderful to take a warm shower now. I would recommend this service provider any day! Some might think they are pricy, but they really did a great job and provided us with a great product.

They were excellent. I was very fortunate because it was a last minute call and they were able to come the same day. The technician was awesome and worked out less costly solutions to what I needed. At the end of the day, they did a great job.

I did have Michael & Son come out and do an estimate for providing an outdoor spigot and the estimate was way more than I expected to that item got moved to my 'wish list'. The plumber that came out was very nice and very professional

The backyard electrical outlet stopped working. A handyman spent several hours pulling out wires and rewiring but it still did not work. David came out, examined the socket box and then noticed that the GFI reset in the garage of all places, had been flipped. He pressed the button and fixed the problem. No expensive rewiring or opening up of walls and I didn't have to spend thousands in repairs. Very happy. The only issue was that the original appointment was the week prior and unfortunately, they did not show up nor did I get a call and I had to follow-up with them. They said there was an emergency but they waived the call-out fee for my inconvenience.

I used them and Northern Virginia where was that booked and have used them here. I used the service, I guess, last Spring but I cannot remember how much they charge me. They were clean, tidy and did good work.

We used a deal to receive a whole-home plumbing inspection so that we could identify and take care of any potential issues. The rep was very professional and it's clear the company has a very good/sophisticated marketing department as the leave-behind materials were very impressive. The rep did a good job on the inspection and identified all of the areas of concern or potential for work. The problem is that this company's prices are completely out of line with going rates in the area for plumbing. They quoted us almost $800 per toilet for new toilets when another plumber came in and fixed the 'guts' of the toilet for $80. We ended up not going forward with any additional work from this company because of the high prices.

Employee was prompt, very knowledgable and curtious. Will definetly use company in the future and would not think twice about refering company to family or friends.

I was satisfied with their service. They came out in the evening on a Friday without charging me an emergency fee, which I was grateful for.

Michael and Son had a plummer available and at my home the same day I called. Jason was assigned the work. He was very professional. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling to get at the pipe. He explained everything that he was doing and the reason for the leak. He also cleaned all of the debris.. I was very pleased with the work that was done and Jason's professionalism.

Company came out, and looked at toilet. There was no leak that needed to be fixed.

Jason Holleman was the plumber responding. He was very prompt, curteous, and professional. He knew his business and found the most economic means for fixing the problem. I will definitely use him again.

Jason was a true professional during the entire process. Called me to let me know he was coming, put a mat out at the front door when he arrived and booties on to keep the house clean. I appreciate that every time. Walked me through the options, explained what we could do, and offered alternatives. This is a huge bonus because it allowed for me to be flexible with the service i needed and the budget I was looking at. He started work around 10:00am after going to get a few parts, and was done by 12:30. Cleaned up behind himself along the way, so it's like he was never here. Folks, if you're looking for a good local plumber, stop now and call these guys. We'll be using them for all our plumbing needs in this house and future homes in the Raleigh area.

Michael and Son did plumbing and electrical work for me. They are absolutely first class. They even bring their own door mat and place it over your floor to keep it clean. They don't even want to dirty your floor mat. They send a card after they are finished thanking you for the opportunity to do work for you. They are a bit higher than some companies, but when they do the work they do it right the first time, and nobody has to come back.

Both young men were very polite and personable. They spoke directly to my 90 year old mother, instead of ignoring her or talking about her; the work was done at her house. They both explained issues and problems to me in a non-condescending way, since I am a novice at repair work. The electrician took his time inspecting some 1980s light fixtures that looked very out of date; he showed me what needed to be changed, and which were top priority. The HVAC expert talked about the need for duct cleaning. Neither pushed me to use their company for further work, but left literature on their services and approx. prices. I will use this company in the future.

Michael and Son technician (Jason) was very professional. I had quite a few items that I really just needed him to troubleshoot for me and then provide advice and an estimate for next steps. He provided a very detailed quote. I also mentioned that I had some plumbing work that needed to be done. He got on the phone and schedule one of their plummers to come out and provide me an estimate for that work.

The quote blew me out of the water as far as how expensive they were. They were professional and punctual. I really had no problems with them outside of what they were proposing. What I was looking for was a very different cost. I ended up doing the entire job myself. The quoted price was about $1,100.

I did communicate that the job was for the fridge; however, the plumber did not arrive with all of the tubing. If the receptionist had communicated that they would need 10 ft of water line for an ice maker with connections they could have save a trip to the hardware store.

I called on a Saturday afternoon and they actually apologized for making me wait til the following Monday. They were highly professional and I would indeed use them and refer thier company in the future.

VERY professional - will definitely use again

It was a really good experience. They were busy and it took them a long time to come. We had a schedule first and they were overworked so we had to reschedule on some other time. But then after rescheduling, they came before the time that they said they would come. It took a while but then it was figured out and it really seemed like they were doing their best to stick to the schedule. They also gave us a discount for that. They take very good care of the customers. Their customer care was very positive.

My experience with them was good. They did a good job. It was more expensive than I wanted it to be but they discovered a problem that we didn’t realize and it had to be fixed. The young man was really nice. He did everything that he said he was going to do. He was there on time and got the work done. They found a fairly major problem; a majority of the light switches in our house were installed improperly and were actually arcing. So they could have caused fire. He corrected that problem. It was expensive because there were 97 switches that had to be replaced. It was expensive and they could have cut us deal but they didn’t.

William came out to help us with a plumbing issue. We found standing water in our kitchen which had leaked from the sink onto the hardwood floors and basement below. Initially, we thought the problem was due to a leaky pipe or dishwasher, but William determined that the sink just needed caulk. The hardwood flooring has some bucklin and William put us in touch with a professional to help us with the water damage. Because the problem turned out to be such a small fiix, he didn't charge us anything, not even a trip charge. The water damage specialist came out today to assess the hardwood floor and will be sending me a bid for the work that needs done. I appreciate Michael and Son plumbing because they went beyond what is customary in a contractor and helped us with the total solution rather than just their piece of work. Also, they could have easily charged me a trip charge and a small fee to caulk but they didn't. Consequently, I will call them next time I need plumbing or electrical work.

They did good work. They guy was nice. They ended up charging me a high cost for additional work I needed done. I would not use them again because it was expensive. They had a Mercedes work van, which I found odd. They also broke one of my snap on LED lights, I had an extra so it was not a big deal.
