Description of Work: The work was completed satisfactorily. However, on initial call, I was not able to get from dispatcher even a broad cost estimate for removing a sink disposal unit and replacing it with a straight pipe. Since I had paid Angie's List $119 in advance (supposedly for $200 service), I was invested in this more expensive provider.

Description of Work: Came in to do an inspection. I had purchased through Angie's list. Wanted exactly what was described plus a full documented explanation of recommendations. Only thing I received was 3 quotes for a hot water heater in the future. The water test was a joke. pH level and whether the water had chlorine and bromine. I could do that myself with a pool kit. And I had to supply the requested checklist of services that Michael and Son's submitted to Angie's List in the first place, (they had no idea what they were came out to the house to do.) I will say the technician seemed knowledgeable and experienced, just wish that came through in the recommendation sheet. I'll be looking elsewhere for plumbing services.

Description of Work: I bought the coupon to have a running toilet repaired. They ended up selling me an expensive water filter. Complaint resolved the next week. Was upset about the $2400.00 water filter and the follow up was satisfactory.

Description of Work: I called company to get estimate and schedule service-replace two outside hose bibs at same house. Cost would be $275 ea=$550 total. Called my regular plumber to get other price to compare-$225 for first, $150 for second=$375 total. I gave Michael and Sons the opp'y to match the $375 and they declined. I told them I would not pay for a built in trip charge for two jobs at same location. Their having a set price for a set job was okay with me. The same set price for same job at same location at same time was not. $175 difference between two quotes was more than the savings from their big deal. By the way, I priced the fanciest hose bib assembly at Home Depot and it was less than $10.
