The locksmith was professional, calling before the service call to make sure he had the finish and key I needed. He completed the job in an hour. The cost to come to my house seemed a bit high $101 for the trip and the rest was the lock itself.. But perhaps this is the going rate.

Save yourself some money and buy the hardware from their store. No problem with the equipment I bought from the hardware big box store. I'm glad I paid the extra money for them to swap out the old door knobs because they had to do some chiseling to fit the matching strike plates, etc...when they were done everything mates up perfect and looks excellent. Well worth the money. I've tried to do this myself in the past. I ended up buying a new door and frame AND pay for the locks to be installed.

Marshall's was professional from start to finish. We had requests for quote from 2 other locksmith services - 1 never did return the call and 1 that acted like they were doing us a favor. I would use Marshall's again and we will recommend Marshalls to our friends.

They confirmed arrival time when on the way, and arrived exactly when planned - extremely professional and very efficient! Over all cost was much less than what we anticipated. The estimate they provided prior to providing the service was exactly what we spent. Very friendly - will highly recommend them to anyone in need of a locksmith!

Service provider was exceptional. He re-keyed all of my locks on the same day I requested service. I sent a message via Angie's list in the morning and within an hour had heard from the company; service arrived at my home by lunch. He was wonderful and even let my dog follow him around while he took care of business. Highly recommend!

Cris was very professional and explained everything he was doing. Thankfully he managed to open the lock and provide me with my options to replace it.

Chris came out and performed the service. The appt was made earlier this morning and he was here around mid-day. The response time was great considering another company said the earliest they could come was Friday. Chris was very professional and performed the work quickly. I would definitely use the company again.

I have a locking storage shed that I recently discovered we did not get the key for from the seller when we bought our house years ago. Andy was the locksmith who helped me and we discussed what options I had - unfortunately, without a code on the lock, it would be more expensive, but the charge of $20 for a new key for this lock was still very reasonable. The key copies were each about $2, and I think that's much less expensive than other places I had seen. Most importantly, each key works perfectly - sometimes key copies are more "touchy" but these have given me no trouble. Andy was very friendly and professional, and the entire thing only took about 30 minutes. I had left to run errands but received a phone call when it was ready. If only everything could be so easy!

This guy was a model for someone in the service business. He was responsive, communicated well, kept his commitment and completed the job in timely fashion.

Took him a good while because it was tricky -- didn't want to stripped the screw. But he did it and saved the lock!

We recently relocated to the area and wanted the locks changed in our new home. I found Marshall's on Angie's List. I called them, described what I wanted. The procedure and cost were reviewed and I set up an appointment. The locksmith arrived on time. He went over again what I wanted done and the cost for same. He proceeded with the work in an efficient manner. When he was finished, he had me check each lock with the new key and then asked how many copies of the key I would like. When he was sure the job was done to my satisfaction he prepared the bill for the previously stated charges. I am very satisfied and would call them again. Also, he was great with my gentle giant of a dog!

My locks were older Medeco and first I called A1ocksmith Ricky Archer of Durham North Carolina and he asked shape of Medeco key, then explained that it has to do with security. He is not allowed to work on a Medeco lock he didn't sell and same is true for others. He sugested I drive over to Marshalls and they almost certainly could identify my key.So I called Marshalls to find out what they were near. Woman Rene helping me asked me a question and asked my name and ZAP she had located my file and they had installed it.She made an appt and they came out and both Were not told at first I was with Angies List because it was my very first experienceIn other words both locksmiths are anxious to be helpful, kind and courteous to all
