Margaret Cress - Triangle Midtown Realty

Description of Work: My husband and I rented a house in 2009 when we moved from out of state to Raleigh so that we could explore the area before buying a house. We found Margaret Cress, a Raleigh based realtor with Fonville Morisey, on Angie's List and liked her credentials and experience. We needed to find and move into a house by May 2010, and had already narrowed our search to Raleigh and Cary, but we knew very little about the houses and neighborhoods in each. Margaret did a thorough interview with us to clarify and start formalizing exactly what we wanted in a house and neighborhood in our price range and continued to refine the search by sending us, night and day, photos and listing data for current and just listed homes. We emailed her back our yes and no responses with comments stating why yes and why no. Margaret really knows Raleigh and Cary and was able to quickly start showing us houses and neighborhoods that met our specs. When we toured houses she pointed out any construction issues and told us what improvements were indicated and what we could reasonably ask the sellers to correct as part of a contract. She also gave us the past and current price and resell trends in neighborhoods we were considering. My husband works 30 miles from where we were looking and Margaret gave us lots of information on any traffic problems he might encounter and the best routes to take.
