We had a great experience working with this company, professional crew, on time and the service was exceptional!

They arrived on time with a full crew and all of the necessary equipment. They removed 7 trees with stump grinding as well as pruned other areas. This is the second time I have used them. Excellent service both times.

I looked on Home advisor for tree cutting service on 4/12/2021. They sent me a list of pros to choose from. I set up an appointment for a free estimate with M and T friendly tree service on 04/28/2021 around 1-2pm in the afternoon . Mr. Leo Mibeace came to give the estimate. I told him that I wanted all the tree branches hanging over my house cut as we had just had our roof replaced not long ago, There is a pine tree on my property that had 8 small branches about 6-8 inches in width each and a tree that is in my neighbors yard but its branches have extended to hang over my roof.. I also wanted some small shrubs removed on the same side that went down the right hand side of my yard. There was 3 big branches and 4 smaller branches over my roof that were from my neighbors tree. My neighbor had been saying he was going to cut his branches from over my house but he never did, in the meantime tree branches, leaves, from his tree were falling on our roof. Where I live, I couldn't force him to cut what was on my property by law, I could only ask him. I could however have them cut from over my house myself. I told Mr. Leo that. Mr. Leo said it would cost $2000. I said no that's too much, I will get more estimates. Then he said I can get everything done for $1500 this afternoon. So I agreed on that price and was glad to finally be having it done so that we wouldn't have to hear branches hitting our roof anymore during storms. Mr. Leo said he and his guys would come by around 3;30 - 4;30 pm and in the meantime I would be sent a contract to my email from M and T to sign and he left . When I received the contract I called M and T because everything I went over with Mr. Leo wasn't listed on the contract. When I called, Fanny Travers answered the phone at M and T. I told her the contract she emailed to me isn't listing everything I spoke with Mr. Leo about so she needs to send a correct contract. She asked what was it missing? I told her its not listing the pine tree branches that are over my house and its only listing 2 branches from my neighbors yard that are hanging over my house, its more than two branches. She said it's ok, just tell Mr. Leo when he comes back that you talked with me and he needs to cut everything you and he agreed upon, so I signed it. When Mr. Leo came back I told him that the contract was wrong because it didn't list everything that we had talked about and I also told him that I had talked to Ms. Travers and she said for you to do everything that you and I had talked about and he replied yes, yes its ok , we will do what we talked about. I watched them cut 2 of the bigger branches from my neighbors' tree and remove some of the shrubs then I came inside my house because it was very hot out side and I have a lung disease which makes it hard to breathe when its very hot. About 20-25 minutes later the door bell rang and it was Mr. Leo, he said they were done. I said ok let me check. All the other men with their trucks were gone. They had removed all the small shrubs but only 3 branches from my neighbors tree that was over my house and one branch from my pine tree. I told Mr. Leo you didn't cut down all the branches that we agreed upon, look, there are still branches over my house and you only cut one branch from the pine tree. He said I went by the contract. I told him you know what we agreed upon and I told you what Ms. Travers said about the contract. He said, the men have all left now but its ok, we can come back and finish no problem, just call fanny so that she can put you back on the schedule. I said are you sure? He apologized again and said yes its no problem just call fanny. I asked him do you have a receipt for me? he said no. that should have made me suspicious. I said I'm not paying you without a receipt so I went in my house and wrote a receipt for the money and had him sign it, then I paid him. I really thought they would come back because it was only small branches left to cut over my house that would not have taken long at all because they had cut the bigger ones already. When I called M and T to let Ms. Travers know what had happened, it went to a voicemail that said the mailbox was full and couldn't accept messages at that time. I got that message over and over again until the following week. When I finally was able to talk to Ms. Travers, she asked why hadn't I called earlier, and I told her that I had been calling but your mailbox was always full and wouldn't accept any new messages. She said I'm sorry that this happened Ms. Davis, I will take a look at the schedule and get you back on the schedule and fix everything, and she apologized again. I said when will that be? Then she said our schedule is pretty full but I will get you in and I will give you a call back with a day and time. She did call me back on 05/19/2021 at 9:08a.m. but I missed her call. She left a message on my phone that said that she had spoke to Mr. Leo and they should be coming out this week or the next week to finish cutting down the branches and that she would give me a call to make me aware exactly when. I called her back to see if they could come later that day but she said she didn't know when the men would be finished and not to worry, it would be done, she would call, but she never called me back. I never heard from her again after the message she left on 05/19/21 , I made numerous attempts to get this job finished. though I called M and T over and over again and left messages, she never called me again until the day that I registered this complaint. She said I haven't forgotten about you Ms. Davis I will get everything taken care of for you. I said its been almost 3 months and you still haven't finished what I paid for and you keep saying the same thing to me over and over again. She thanked me for being so patient and said we will get it done. I said when? Give me a date and time. She said she would look at the schedule and call me back, she still hasn't called me back to this day. Now I know that I should not have paid them until the whole job was completed. Since what was left was only small branches over my house I truly believed they would come back to finish such a small job. I feel that I have been given the run around and taken advantage of. This has taught me to not be so trusting.

Superb work & very professional team

M&T Friendly Tree Service was so professional, it was amazing to watch them work! They took down 5 large trees with precision and cleaned up afterwards, it was a positive experience, I definitely recommend them!

The work was very well done. It was fast and leaned up after wrk was completed. I was very pleased and would use them again .The workers were very friendly and knew what they were doing.

This is the second time I have used M&T Friendly Tree Service. They are great to work with. They show up on time and get the done quickly without compromising quality of safety. I have been happy with the price they charged, as well.

They were friendly and prompt. They did exactly what they were asked. We were very satisfied with service. I was hoping for a cheaper price but they were competitive and didn’t overcharge. They were respectful and courteous

Quick and efficient and did OK not tearing up our grass much. They even cut up some of the tree for us to later use as firewood. Only knock is they left a plastic water bottle at the work site, not a huge deal but not something I would have expected. Would recommend and use again at the end of the day

Exceptionally well. I used Wright Tree Service in the past without incident. They are no longer around, so D&L responded to my Angie's List post and provided an estimate 2 days later. A second outfit said they would not come to my town and the third, Molena's, never responded to my request for a quote.

Excellent work, highly recommend ! We are very happy with the finished product of this project. A 50 ft long oak leaf hedge from our next door neighbor's yard had not been cut or maintained in years and was wildly overgrown. The hedge was trimmed even with the fence line up to the sky. A very hard working, polite work crew who did excellent work, fully cleaned up all debris and even racked and blew off our yard. The project was completed in maybe 2 hours max. I highly recommend and have already passed along this company's name to multiple neighbors.

After walking through my yard and being asked about the side they would go through to access the trees, which would touch my neighbors yard, I told the representative, my neighbor was ok because the tree was leaning towards his house. I signed the contract, the company gave me a date, when they arrived I was told the work could not be started because the ground was wet. I was told the company would call me and give me an estimate for another tree I wanted taken down in the future. A week passed, I called the company and was told they would not be completing the job, due to having to go through my neighbors yard which I was already given the Ok to enter on the side where our yards touched. I am very disappointed that this company did not fullfill its contract obligation and would not recommend them to anyone.

We found a tree with a bad split that needed to come down ASAP. I requested a quote and D & L was quick to respond. Within a couple of hours, they sent someone out that gave me a very fair and competitive price and scheduled the service for later that afternoon! The crew arrived on time and performed exactly as discussed and to my expectations! They did a great job in safely taking down the dangerous tree and cleaning up the area after. They will be the first company I call in the future tree service!

D & L Tree Service were absolutely incredible! They arrived exactly when they said they would, started their work as soon as they got there, utilizing various types of equipment and techniques to remove trees in the front and back of my house. They removed 12 large trees, and did an incredible job! I will happily use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have trees removed, stumps ground, or limbs trimmed. The team was hardworking and efficient, and they all worked very well together to get the job done. Very impressed! They did an immaculate clean up job of the area before they left, and I am so happy with the results! They did an excellent job. They helped advise on the decision on where to trim half of a very tall tree and completed the work as promised. They were also very reasonably priced.
