Luxury Bath & Kitchens is a locally owned and operated. It founded on the idea that designing your dream bathroom or kitchen shouldn't be done in a showroom. The design decisions should take place where the finished product will be displayed, your home. Find out what our customers already know, to keep the headaches out of remodeling, you must deal with a company that will be there from start to finish and beyond.
We contacted four companies to come out and look at a bathroom remodel project. This is not a major project, more of a face lift. Remove a tub, resize a shower larger (1-2 inches in each direction), move vanities to center on wall. Three of the companies we contacted we felt could do a good job, so it came down to some material differences and price. We chose this company. The sales/design guy was really good. Even went back and did some research on something we wanted to do to see if it really could be done. Turns out it just really isn't possible, but at least he did the legwork. It wasn't really a deal breaker, it was more of a cool feature. One of the other companies told us the same thing, so this is not their fault, the product just isn't made in the size we were looking at. Installers were great. Did a good job. Were happy to answer questions and didn't mind if you kept checking in on progress. Knew the products they were installing too. Subcontractor for the shower glass was great. Called to be sure they could come early. Put the glass where we wanted it on the threshold. Weren't satisfied with the install as a seal was kinked and a washer/shim was missing from the door, so scheduled a return visit to fix the issues. Didn't wait until we pointed out the problem, they showed us the problem. Parts were overnighted and problem solved in 2 days. The goal of the project was to fix a cracked shower wall and get things so they didn't look strange (the vanities off to one side). These were the issues we had: - Wrong vanities were ordered. Not sure how it happened because we measured counter height with the sales/design guy and he changed pages in his book to get the right ones. - Were promised a one piece white marble threshold by the owner. He said a matching grey color would be two pieces but the original was white (one piece) and we liked that break up of the rooms and he told us that one piece in white was no problem. They showed up with two pieces to install and said take it or go with metal (after they had already installed marble at the other threshold which would have looked really stupid). - We asked for a larger shower. The walls are 1-2 inches larger than the old shower, but the shower pan (which is really the size of the shower) is the same size as the old one (the new pan lines up with the markings on the old wall where the pan was). You cannot say that there is a required overhang of the material because they aren't consistent (1 inch in one direction and 2 inches in the other). - This one isn't their fault, but worth mentioning. The sinks we got are inset cultured marble sinks. There were many manufacturing imperfections. Because of the number of imperfections, the sink was remade rather than repaired on site. You would think they would check the second one before they brought it here. They didn't. Second one was almost as bad as the first, we wouldn't let them install it. The third

Installers arrived on time each day, kept us advised on progress of work, and they were neat & cleaned up the work area each day. New shower stall, flooring, and toilet look just as expected and planned, and the two installers were friendly yet very professional in their work.
