There was a good selection of flooring and their prices were reasonable. It all went down hill from there. You have to pay in full BEFORE the job in complete. Our marble mantle is now chipped and a crack going from the front to the back and most door jams are all hacked up. We have talked to Joel the installer, the store manager Chris and after not getting anywhere with them I then contacted the home office. We have talked to Becky, then Brittany, then Amber. Each one of those I emailed an itemized list along with the pictures that they requested. I never heard back from any of them even after a follow up email to make sure they got the original email. After leaving a review on Yelp Brandon called my husband and seemed to be on the ball wanting to help resolve the issue. After a week of not hearing back from him (that’s the pattern) my husband called him. He said that he talked to the installer and he said the hearth was damaged before they did the job. Okay, if that was the case then why in the world was that not stated from the get go? At this point we know we are screwed because everyone has their money. Whatever you do use your own installation company. Do not use theirs.

Description of Work: Had whole house done. Approx 1300 sq. ft. |Looked nice at first but the store did not tell me the product was from China. Also did not tell me I would be so gentle with the floors-no high heels for instance (although we are careful with the floors). Was told putting a sealant on the floors would prevent liquid from seeping through. Product is very cheap. Did not notice that in the store compared to other floor samples. | |Installers (Pro-Installers) were terrible. They did not clean up after themselves in some places. | |Noticed later that they had put putty to fill in some gaps where they cut it too short. Later some gapping started between the boards. Quarter round looks awful where the corners were cut and is peeling. Pro Installers also put putty there. They came back to fix the putty in front of the sink and where they put awful looking quarter round under the dishwasher. When they came back, he left more gapping in the floors and quarter round is worse where they put it back on. Still put putty in-between some boards that might not have fit tightly enough. Plus they left for 3 hours (was told 45 min) to work on another install. | |Later noticed many places where the floors were cut completely un-even - mostly in the closets. It looks terrible. It's also in front of front door and back door. | |They also never filled in the nail holes with stain. Or put stain on the ends of the quarter round. Also it was not nailed deep enough, so quarter round was coming up. | | |Next the laminate has started raising up at the front door. | |They also installed my bathrooms "on the side." I was promised the could do it. They came back a few times because the grout kept cracking. I kept calling after a while about both bathrooms and laminate and installer would not respond. They refused to fix them, so I had some one else do them (extra 1,000). They said once he took the grout up the tiles were just popping up. Also said wax rings were never replaced on toilets which was causing them to leak. | |Finally I called lumber liquidators who denied the installers worked for them. They transferred me to the place that contracts with LL (Home Service Store) and they confirmed Pro installers did work with them. They have been working with Pro Installers to fix the floors. They seem to be helping so far and making the installers come back. This time they said they would pay for extra materials. But they refuse to have an inspector come out. | |I wish I had NEVER gotten these floors! Terrible experience! |

Great customer service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Showroom contained lots of nice hardwood floor samples at a range of quality, with plenty of discounted offers. They were able to find a near perfect match for a sample floorboard we took from a floor in our house that needed repair due to water damage. The shipment came earlier than expected. Cost was very reasonable. This is definitely the place to go for hardwood flooring of any size or make.
Description of Work: Provided matching floorboards for existing hardwood floor in need of repair.

BAIT AND SWITCH! The flooring that I was shown on the store sales floor was Bella as was the sample I was given to take home…it even had the Bella label on it. The boxes that were delivered weren't labeled Bella, and when the Lumber Liquidators recommended installers began installing the floor, found that the wood was splitting during normal installation. The were not happy doing the job with that poor quality flooring, and told me that this was job lot flooring. They looked at our Lumber Liquidators invoice and said this flooring was not the quality we'd purchased. In addition to the splitting, they said about 1/3 of the pieces in the box were bad. There were a few 48and quot; pieces, but most were 12-15and quot;. They pointed out that the finish was thinner and duller than on the Bella sample we had, and that the written guarantee in the boxes said the flooring was guaranteed for 10 years, not Bella's 100 year guarantee, or even half that. The installer called Lumber Liquidators on our behalf and told them that they had delivered job lot flooring, and what was happening as it was installed. Lumber Liquidators denied the flooring was job lot. We also spoke to them, and they simply refused to do anything about the bait and switch they had pulled. The only concession they made was to offer an extra case of Bella floor cleaner…for our trouble. We never received that, either. Installing new flooring throughout a home means packing and moving everything but the heaviest furniture out…almost as though you're moving. If we wanted to be able to live in our home, we had very little choice but to proceed with installation. The installer obviously didn't want to install a sub-par floor, but he also had very little choice because we had paid his deposit to Lumber Liquidators. They would have been perfectly happy to walk away from this installation…losing over $4500…just not to install this job lot floor stock. But we told them to go ahead because we felt we had to get back into our home. Obviously, this floor will not last nearly as long as a good quality hardwood floor should. It will need premature refinishing, and our installer told us that we'd experience splitting. I shouldn't have to know that after installing a brand new hardwood floor. Bottom line: I would never deal with Lumber Liquidators again. I strongly recommend that you don't either.
Description of Work: We bought what were told would be Bella Patagonian Rosewood flooring for our entire home minus the baths and laundry room.
