I asked for an appointment for a qoute and lady told me there was a $5000 min! She then I asked if I was ok with that, no I was not. I only wanteed a patio of pavers and a walkway done in my backyard. So on to the next.

The leader seemed okay. When he was here everything was fine but he left to take a load of debris away and the crew he left just didn't seem too confident. The pine tree, they didn't keep the ropes tight enough and when they cut it, it fell against my neighbor’s roof and knocked over his hot water gas exhaust on his roof. Then they were topping the big sweet-gum tree and one of the liaisons, they put a tight rope around it and cut them and lift them down and one of those swung against my house and put a couple of gouges in my siding. I negotiated with him when he got back and he paid for my siding, I had no problem with that. I negotiated with him on the price. He wanted 850 to start and I got that down because he was on the job site next door anyway when I saw him. I did not perjure him through the regular process, I just happened to see him there working. After the fact I went back and looked on the site and he had a good reputation but the guys, those guys' didn't exactly knew what they were doing. They were big heavy trees. He got back to the site. I have been in a tight situation and I would be scared to use them again because they cut 2 trees and they damaged 2 things. That was a medium sized tree and had plenty of room. I could see what was going to happen and I wanted to go up there and say something but it wasn't my place and the tree fell just as I thought it would and hit the house. That sort of scared me. There were a couple of people in his crew that he should not have left in charge when he wasn't there.

They cleaned up beautifully and left it spotless. My yard has never looked this good in 30 years! They arrived on time, and worked continuously. When they left, you couldn't even tell that they'd been here, except that everything looked tremendously better. They were quite friendly and courteous.
