I submitted a request to Lineberger's Tree Svc for quote via the contact info on their web site. This was my first experience with this company although I have used a different local company for tree svc several times in the past. The quote process was quick and easy, even when I asked them for a slight change in the quote about 3 days after it was presented. After accepting the quote, the work was scheduled and the crew arrived about 15 mins early to begin the job. There was a crew of three men and the total time on site was about 4 hours. The two sweet gum trees were typical and easy to remove. They were disposed of by being fed into the chipper/shredder. The pine was much larger and required a rope and pulley system to cause it to fall in the right direction since it was leaning towards my pond a bit. Overall the work went very well. The crew members were polite and cordial, and they were willing to answer any question I had about the work. They needed to move a mini skid steer across an area of my lawn and they put down a synthetic track assembly to prevent any grass damage from occurring. They were also very careful and observant to clean up the work site following completion of the job. Overall, I was very pleased with the final result. Lineberger's wasn't the cheapest quote, but I was very comfortable with the price and feel like I got my money's worth. I asked for a discount for cash payment and they promptly provided a small price reduction which I thought was reasonable and appropriate. I also want to point out that the crew at all times used appropriate safety equipment and techniques, which I am sure is required due to the company's liability insurance, but it's good to know that this is enforced by the crew leads for the safety of their workers.

After 10 years in our home, the trees in our yard have become huge, overgrown, so we consulted with LTS for cost estimate for removal of several trees in our back yard. First they recommended we speak with a certified arborist, which we did. He came to our home, was entirely professional, listened while we explained our concerns. He gave helpful advice but was never insistent. He pointed out a tree which had a lot of deterioration at the bottom, base, was quite large and a potential hazard. Also informed us which trees would be most likely to break apart, limbs falling due to density. Never tried to talk us into just eliminating trees without reason, actually mentioned that trees add value, beauty to a home. After agreeing on what trees to eliminate and prune, the arborist spoke with Linberger's office right there that day, gave us a very reasonable estimate before leaving. After agreeing to the work/price, another gentleman called, set up the date/time, and the crew arrived exactly on time, 8:30. They removed 6 trees from the back yard (5 were rather large), pruned 4 ornamental trees in front yard and were gone by 2:30. They drilled the tree stumps from the removed trees below grade which left mulch in the area where the trees were. We have the treed area in our yard all mulched anyway, so that was helpful for us. A slightly different color mulch, but it will blend in a few weeks anyway. Each crew member was extremely courteous. They even cleaned our yard up so it looked nicer than when they began, swept sidwalks, and apart from the extra mulch, you'd never know the trees were ever there at all. They were careful of bird's nests in the trees they pruned and played with our large playful dog before/after the job, which delighted her! Really, the price was fair, the job was very well done, and the people at LIneberger's are first-rate and we would recommend their services. Just to add, we've also had their Triple-blend mulch ($18 cubic yard), delivered. It's performed very satisfactorily. They delivered it end of April, DH and I spread it ourselves approx. 3-4 inches thick. It does not have the fine texture or fragrance of triple-shred hardwood (which they also can provide). However, the mulch still looks attractive after all these months, and we're very happy that we've had almost no weeds all summer. It's a great product.

Prompt quote and schedule of service. needed a crane to remove trees. Arrived on time and completed quickly and cleaned up before leaving. Asked him about several other things and did some minor limb pruning for free.

The Lineberger's team arrived on time and ready to work. They cut down 4 trees and removed the debris. One large tree they used a crane to manage and three smaller trees that were leaning over fences and toward homes. They were courteous and professional. The left everything clean and looking good.

I was pleased with the overall experience. Because I was concerned about having the tree trimming done in a way that would not jeopardize the health of the trees involved, having a certified arborist discuss the tree trimming with me as part of the estimate process was important to me. The workers arrived in a timely manner, worked carefully, and did a very good job cleaning up and removing all debris.

They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up the debris after trimming. They were very kind and personable. I'm planning on calling them again to work on some other trees, they're too large for me to trim.

2 hours after arrival, they had climbed, topped and finished removing the dead trees that were threatening to fall and ruin my neighbors fence; they ground down stumps level to ground, and removed limbs, trunk and leaves to be shredded into their dumpster. They volunteered to remove dangerously threatening heavy branches over the street, and must not have charged for that as they charged me exactly what had been estimated... will use them again as needed.

Excellent work (and fascinating to watch). They also did outstanding cleanup work after the jobs were done.

I didn't go with them because they were too high. They were exorbitant but everything else they were fine. They had a real bad backlog and they weren't going to be able to get to it for sometime which could have been two months or so. I really wanted the tree cut down as soon as possible. I wouldn't go back to them because they were so much higher than the other quotes I got. In fact I had the whole tree cut down, the stump ground and some debris removed for $650 which was a huge difference.

This is highly professional company that will do what needs to be done, do it quickly and efficiently, and maintain a courteous, respectful demeanor while do so.

They were very courteous over the phone and via email. They were on time and dumped the mulch where we requested. From what we've seen, their prices on mulch are very competitive. They have various types, but we really like the triple shred the best. We will always get our mulch from Lineberger's! They do provide tree services, but we have not used them for that.

They're terrific. I've been using this company for decades. They're very knowledgable and have the appropriate equipment to take care of any tree service need. I'm very happy with their services and I would highly recommend them to others.

The Holland's were trees rather than shrubs, and the roots were pushing against the foundation. We have used them twice. They did what we asked them to do, and they did it promptly. They did a really good cleanup job. We have recommended them, and would have no reservation of recommending them in the future. They are a high quality company. They are certified arborists, not just tree cutters. Their knowledge is beyond belief as far as seeing problems. I didn't even recognize some of the problems, and I am a long time gardner. They were correct. The price was reasonable for the quality of work. My neighbors and I will continue to use their service in the future.

The crew, directed by Brent Lineberger, was extremely friendly and very skilled. Brent, a certified arborist, has an impressive knowledge of trees and landscaping plants. He quickly responded to our initial request for a free estimate and provided excellent followup. His crew arrived at 7:45 AM, exactly at the scheduled time, and worked diligently to complete the project by noon. All trees pruned by the crew look well shaped and natural. Cleanup was done through the course of the project. We are extremely pleased with the work done by Lineberger's Tree Service and highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating tree work.
