Lifetime Gutter Company

We have been customers of Lifetime Gutter Company since moving to Raleigh in 2006. They have always done an outstanding job and are very reliable and thorough. We've owned two homes, one with a three story high roof in back and our current home with lots of trees and wide spread gutters. They always do a great job and clean up when they're done.

I engaged Shane and Life Time Gutters almost two years ago to take over my regular gutter cleaning. Their process is simple and efficient. I call and ask to be put on the schedule. He will text me back with a date and I leave a check for the employees to pick up. They are experienced and do a nice job. The leave my driveway, walks and yard free of debris. Shane is easily available by phone for questions and comments. I highly recommend.

They showed up 15 minutes early. Did the job in about 40 minutes. The gutter were FULL, like trees growing out of them!!! They cleaned out all the gutters, checked the down spouts. They did a great job cleaned up and even blew off the deck, and around the house.

Lifetime Gutters owner - Shane, is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced gutter installer that I have met. He knows his craft very well and he takes his customer relationships seriously. He will not be the low cost provider but the quality of his work and attention to detail is something that is hardto find these days. My job required more than just tear-off and replace, it involved additional downspouts and drainage pipes (buired, of course) One pipe went under a deck and two others crossed our garden walkway. All digging was done by hand and plants were replanted and they did a nice job of cleaning up afterward. The crew was courteous, professional and prompt. I would definitely recommed Shane and his company.

Life Time Gutter did exactly what was advertised. Workers arrived as scheduled. Gutter cleaning was performed using a blower. (Note: you can't get someone to clean gutters by hand at such a low price) Our gutters were very messy! After cleaning gutters, the workers blew the debris that fell from the gutters off the deck and patio. However, as an earlier reviewer noted, blowing out the gutters will leave some debris on your roof and house. Dirt and small pieces of leaves / pine needles are on my skylights and siding. For this reason, I rated quality a and quot;B.and quot; But I gave the company an overall and quot;Aand quot; rating for the service provided. For the price paid, they did more site clean up than I expected. And I knew in advance that a blower would be used to do the cleaning. I might choose to pay more in the future to avoid having the dirt, etc., on my skylights and siding.

He returned my Saturday phone call on a Sunday, I appreciated this quick response. Cleaned away debris from the gutters also. Very prompt, courteous and professional. I have him on my list to clean my gutters every 6 months now.

We first got free estimate on bigger, replacement gutters (which incl. removing old gutter system), downspouts, etc-- Shane Hedrick (owner) was very thorough w/inspection and showed us the rotten fascia, soffits, wood areas-- we were not surprised as problems existed for a very long time-- The home was built in the 60's.... solid and well-built, but some necessary maintenance had been neglected long enough to cause extensive and expensive corrections and replacements! We thought the estimate was high, but knew the areas pointed out (as well as the ones we were aware of) were in sad, SAD shape... we also needed quick turnaround and expected quality and guarantees for the price.... we got both and then some! Shane's crew (2 crews actually) arrived one afternoon (around the torrential rain we've had for months!) and had finished and cleaned up all debris by 8/8:30pm! It was a pretty big job and took 9 pple to accomplish it in that amount of time! 2 different colors of paint (which he matched) and lots of replacement wood cut to shape in several large areas, along with new custom-made on site, seamless gutters, downspouts and all the necessary hardware for perfect installation! We then had Shane look in the attic, under the roof, as we knew we had BIG roofing issues there as well--- the rest of the story under 'Lifetime Roofing Co.' !

The gutters were cleaned on our home, but the cleaning caused the sides of the house to have LOTS and LOTS of dirt and debris on them. Now we will need to call a power washer and have the house power washed to clean up the mess this company left on my house. I have never had this problem with gutter cleaning. I am disappointed.

After hearing what I wanted, the owner clearly explained that ALL the gutters were old (I knew that) and undersized for my home and that I needed to replace them all. I re-addressed my point of wanting A REPAIR, targeting ONLY 2 gutters, all the rotten wood and minimizing cost as I was selling. He told me he did not want to do shoddy work as that had an impact on his reputation and he does a lot of work in my development! He was not unprofessional, but very aggressive, and clearly thought that a little extra and quot;scareand quot; thrown in (to an older woman) about the number of areas of rotted wood that a home inspector would find, would propel me to jump to a much more expensive job than I needed. BEWARE: HE WILL TRY TO CONVERT A REPAIR JOB INTO A LARGE SCALE GUTTER REPLACEMENT

Lifetime Gutters has been cleaning our gutters for 8 years. During the latest cleaning, Shane noticed some of the gutters were pulling away from the house and had deteriorated to the point they were not working. We had already noticed the water flowing over the gutter during a rain storm. Shane provided a written estimate and then performed the exact service the day after our approval. He gave us a recomendation for a different gutter color that works so well with the house. We would never have thought of changing from white to bronze and now love it. We did not need to be home for the intstallation, but I was. The workers showed up as scheduled and finished in one day and they cleaned up everything prior to leaving. Lifetime Gutter Company is very easy to work with, calls back in a timely manner and does the work they are scheduled to do. We will continue to use them.

Overall, excellent service and will call them again for future work.

Shane was out to quote the gutter job on one day, and within 2 more days the job was complete, even after adding additional wood repair and dormer replacement onto the list. We had a custom color order for our gutters and downspouts, and he had that material shipped in the very next day! He and his crew were very thorough, efficient, friendly and responsive! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! I have definitely recommended this company to friends and neighbors! Shane even went the extra distance by fixing the lousy job our builder did with water management from our roof. His crew added several new downspouts and tied them in to existing underground lines without disturbing extensive landscaping, sprinkler runs and landscape lighting wiring!! This company does more than just gutter work. Make sure to talk to them BEFORE you have a repair project underway, as they can likely do that too! Pricing was reasonable, especially given the quick turn around time!

I was satisfied with the entire process...estimate, scheduling, efficiency and craftmanship of the work....only negative..quite a bit of scrap/nails left around. overall grade A-.

Look no further if you need gutters replaced, repaired or cleaned. I had seen the work done by Lifetime Gutter Company at several of my neighbors and it's highly rated. So I called and president Shane Hedrick returned my call within a day. He remembered my house and had noticed my gutter troubles. The next day, while I was at work, he looked over my house and called me that evening with details of the three areas where rotten fascia board would have to be replaced. While the new gutter system was estimated at $2,800, with all the repairs he estimated $3,425 with the understanding that if the damage was greater, the price may go higher. He emailed me a proposal spelling it all out, and I signed it and sent it back to him. The estimate turned out to be accurate. All the work was done in one day while I was at work. I never saw the crew. When Shane came to get the check, he said he'd had a crew of carpenters and painters and installers organized to make it happen that fast. I couldn't be more pleased. Also, the company will clean my gutters twice a year for $65 each forever. This is much cheaper than getting gutter guards, which would have almost doubled the price. And the seamless look is a big improvement.

Overall - the process was smooth, predictable, and exactly what I expected. When I called the main number, I provided some good call back times, and Shane was very good about calling me back and scheduling a walk around of my house. He took 40-50 photos of the project and gave me a written estimate within 48 hours. His crew showed up on time first thing Monday morning and were finished by Tuesday evening. Very professional crew. I was impressed.

He arrived on time, performed the gutter cleaning quickly and efficiently. Absolutely zero complaints.

Never showed up on scheduled date and never called me to inform me they weren't showing up. Then when pushed for an exact date to do work, was told that I'd have to wait several weeks and couldn't get an exact date. Didn't seem to care I was going to take my business elsewhere. Also never gave me a written quote when requested. Do not use unless you want to wait months to get something done and also get nothing in writing.

The work was done on schedule on the agreed upon day. I received a reminder phone call the night before the work was to be done. No problems were experienced with the company or the manner in which the work was completed. I will be using them again.

Based on consumer feedback and ease of communication during the quote process, this was the company I wanted to work with. They were responsive and personable, they offered a competitive price, and the work was done when they said it would be done. The gutters have been on the house for a month (just in time for the heaviest rain of the year), and we have been 100% satisfied.
