Our second experience with Chris and his team. Both have been excellent in terms of pricing, responsiveness, work quality and the range of projects this company can handle with extreme competency. Will use again soon.

The best thing I can say about leon home repair is that they were the first contractor I have actively sought after to rehire for a second job. I had my master bathroom shows pan leak in early 2017 they were able to help with all issues the bathroom remodel which included turning two small rooms into one and the damage to the ceilings below. When it was time in August to remodel my guest bathroom they were the people i wanted to do it. The best thing is that they are quick and stay on schedule! The crew is fantastic and clearly care about the quality of their work. I will continue to use leon home repair for any work i need done in the future.

It was ok, they left some rather large gaps in areas and I filled it in myself. They only needed a quarter inch gap and they left like a half inch gap. I was dramatically misquoted, so I was shocked. They were pretty responsive. Original estimate was like $500 or $600.

Which they did it, they did it well. I don’t have any complaints. They did a good job. They were very polite, very professional. The first part was in September or October and the second part was in January. One part was I think approximately $4,000 and the second part was approximately $3,000, so it was about $7,000 overall. Overall rating - I would give them an "A" because they had to put up with me too. They would look at me real strang, I would say, "does that makes sense?" They said, "we try". Leon was wonderful, but I just can’t seem to reach them now. I don’t know if I was supposed to give tips or not, that was the concern I had. I don't if that is appropriate or not. I think the price was pretty good. I talked to several people and when I told them how much I paid, they were shocked and they said, “that was a really good deal”. I said, “ok, if you say so, I don’t know”. I was surprise. I did get a good deal. There was one thing they missed and I told them, they came back promptly and did it. Everything was great up until they finished the job and now I can’t get in contact with them. I don’t know if things have changed or what. They completed the job and I was very impressed that they came back the second time around. They completed the job and did a good job. They were punctual. In fact, they were very polite because I live in Durham and I had to drive back and forth. They had to use my garage to get in to do something and they didn’t know how to close the garage. I drove up at 7:00 and the truck was there, they wouldn’t leave till I drove up because the garage door was open. So, I was impressed by that, because they could have said, “okay, bye we’re gone.” I don’t carry a cell phone, so even if they tried to reach me they couldn’t because I was on the road, but they waited until I arrived. If I could find them I would use them again. They were prompt, they were kind, they were polite, they got the job done. I don’t think you could ask for any more than that. There was noting that I did not like, like I said they were patient with me. If they can put up with me, they’re pretty good. I change my mind every 10 minutes.

Handyman showed up promptly at 8am as was scheduled and worked until 3:30pm. Very professional and walked me through everything he was doing and had me check every job and make sure it was up to my standards before moving onto the next job. He made sure I was satisfied and worked very hard. Very impressed and will absolutely use them again and would recommend them for anything you might need done. I was moving into a new house and while I could have done some of this I wanted it done right the first time and I am very happy with the work.

Everything went great! I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The wood rot issue was resolved and my ceramic tile was replaced. The workmanship was outstanding. I plan to hire them for some other small repair projects that are coming up.

They did great. I thought their price was good. They were very cooperative. A lot of times when people do home repairs it is hard to get hold of them, but they texted me back and forth. We were able to do everything through texting. This was for a seller in New York City. They sent them the bill via a way that they could easily pay online. They also said they could pay via PayPal. I thought the price was good and I thought they were very responsive. They were able to give me a quote based off a few pages of the home inspection report. They did a good job. The buyers were very happy with the work. They were very professional and very good price. They came when they said they were going to come. They came and got the work done. I mean literally we closed the next day so it was cutting it kind of close on all this stuff. They did a great job. I will use them myself in the future.

Excellent--Leon was able to get the bricks and materials that matched the existing framing, completed quickly and neatly.

They never showed up as scheduled, discussed, and documented in messages. I scheduled the estimate 2 weeks in advance. The morning arrived for them to estimate the job, I took time off work, I waited for an hour for them to arrive... no show. I never received a phone call or email apologizing or explaining they wouldn't be able to make it.

Leon Home Improvement will be my first choice to complete work on my home. Fast response, prompt, courteous and professional. The team when doing the bathroom/laundry room work, would clean each night before leaving. Nothing was assumed - if there was a problem, they brought it to our attention. If there were more than one way to do the work, we were consulted. Just a pleasure to work with and will be back soon for the popcorn ceiling removal.

The experience we encountered with Leon Home Repairs was beyond what we expected. Not only did we receive professional quality and workmanship, the entire crew was courteous, respectful and extremely dedicated to making us, the customer, involved with every aspect of the repairs as they moved forward. Our home is back, better than before, all 'Thanks' to Leon's!!!! With more renovations in our future, we have Leon Home Repair on 'speed dial' in our phone!!!! Top Notch Company in our opinion and we will definitely use their services again!!

They were professional and courteous, and did the work as scheduled, and they found and sealed a source of moisture from the crawlspace to the kitchen floor, and checked for other sources of moisture before repairing the floor. The work was done well. We opted for a limited repair so that kitchen cabinets would not have to be moved, and so the flooring was top-nailed instead of removing entire boards that extended under the cabinets. The job was done well, and it looks seamless. It is difficult to see where the top-nailed boards start and the existing flooring ends. Very good work, very well done. They even returned a box of flooring that was unopened and gave us credit for it,. At first we thought the price seemed high, but after checking with others, we found that it was reasonable. I would recommend them to others and I would hire them again.

These guys are top notch! So many positive things to say. We have hired Leon for multiple renovation projects in our 1960's midcentury modern home. We hired him after having a negative experience with another contractor who we had to fire in the middle of a remodeling project. We have said many times we wish we found Leon sooner. Chris Leon the owner is very responsive and gives reasonable prices for top quality work. These guys do it all- painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, drywall and details, details, details. Chris is very trustworthy and even suggested ways for us to save money, instead of just encouraging us to spend as much as possible like many other contractors do. Even after being paid for all the work he came out to our house to make slight modifications at our request. His contractors are all very polite and hard-working. We felt very comfortable having the team around in our house with our family. People who see our house want to know where we had such great work done!

Chris was very courteous helpful in setting up the plan and estimate as we reviewed things and then asked for adjustments. His team (especially Edison) was very polite and punctual and did high quality work. When a plumbing situation developed, Chris was able to send out a specialist to handle it. The price was fair and everything was done as asked--and they were able to suggest and adapt with excellent results. We would hire them again.

First experience with a handyman service since moving to NC. Cost was on the high side of the estimates, but the work performed justified the cost. Used PVC for all repairs where applicable. Very punctual. Good communication the whole way through. Good use of e-mail and even sent reminder as workday approached. Workers were courteous and cleaned up well after each phase of the repairs.

We had set up for him to come by this morning at 11 to give me an estimate. It is now 2 1/2 hrs later and he never showed or called to say he was going to be late
