Description of Work: Chris was the only contractor that responded to our request. We provided photos and received a quick response quote. Even with their tight schedule they gave us a time and date and showed up on time and quickly and professionally completed the job on budget. Dimas, was very meticulous with his work and kept us informed about alterations. We highly recommend Leon Home repair and will definitely use their services again.

 + 3 moreWe found Leon Home Repairs on Angie's List after many calls and estimates from other contractors. Chris Leon listened and provided us with a quote right away. We hired them because Chris was the first contractor to listen to us and take time to inspect our home. He then promptly gave us a detailed quote for the job. The workers were prompt every day and stayed at the job some evenings until 7 pm. They are hard workers who only took short breaks to have lunch. They were courteous and professional. They cleaned up our property at the end of each day, even using a magnet to pick up stray nails. Some serious damage was uncovered while replacing siding and Chris managed to make those repairs and still stay fairly close to the original estimate. We recommend Leon Home Repairs and will certainly use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced Masonite siding with hardie plank. Replaced triple window casing. Repaired damaged plywood. Extra repairs included rotted beams on first and second floor of house. Installed new flashing at chimney.

Description of Work: I called Curtis Leon to set up an estimate for some siding replacement. There had been an email ad for Leon Home Repairs from Angie's List for one of the "Deals". I thought about signing up for that but I wanted to get a feel for the company before I committed. Mr Leon did come out as agreed for an estimate. The problem for me was he never called back with the estimate. If he didn't have the time or courtesy to call with an estimate, I am certainty not going pursue his services. The reviews on Angie's list were all positive and that is why I called.

 + 0 moreI purchased the Big Deal special for 6 hours of wood rot repair from Leon Home Repairs. Scheduling was prompt and easy for the estimate and on the day of the estimate Mr Leon even helped to secure my shed door that had come ajar . The estimate was emailed which did not include materials and then it was easy to schedule the appointment. Today they came at the agreed upon time and I was given an option to use wood or a material with a warranty to never rot called PVC or PBC. The quality of the craftsmanship was very good especially around my bay window. They worked very effiently and had a worker stay a bit longer to finish up on the painting.
Description of Work: Wood rot repair from several corners of the house and window sills including debris removal caulk and painting.

Soon after that visit I received a written estimate. I decided on several of the repairs and Mr. Leon had several available dates. He called me the morning of his visit to let me know he was on his way and he also picked up some items for me at a home center. He and his helper worked quickly and were able to fix a badly damaged ceiling fan. The price was more than fair for the time required and the work accomplished. I have more repairs needed and will definately call them again soon.

 + 4 moreThe experience overall was good. Initially I had planned to do less work, and then added several additional items. Chris Leon gave me estimates of the repairs and was more than willing to be flexible with the work. There were some minor delays, mainly due to weather, but overall the experience was good.
Description of Work: I received several estimates for extensive repairs on the exterior and interior of my house. Leon provided a very competive price and was able to start the work quickly. His team replaced about 1300 sq ft of siding, replaced triming around the windows and repaired several issues with the roof. They also painted the complete house at a very reasonable cost. In addition to the exterior repairs, Leons group finished drywall in a sunroom, bonus room and garage. They painted and trimmed the rooms which all look great.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with Chris and the work that he and his helper did for us. He worked on two different houses for us. We needed work done to get the houses ready to sell. He came to both houses and gave free estimates. He replastered the walls, sanded, primed and painted one of the bedrooms. He did such a great job. He turned it into a very nice bedroom. He installed new doors with locks, hinges and paint. He repaired a screen on the porch and some rotted wood in the front of the house. He did such a good job, we got an excellent offer on the house the very next day! At the other house, Chris installed a new ridge cap at the front porch roof and repaired some shingles. He also installed, caulked and painted two new pieces of siding. We will not hesitate to call Chris again. He is very polite, friendly, flexible and cooperative. He did a lot of work for a very fair price. It was the exact price that he had quoted. Now we have both houses sold and ready to move!

 + 8 moreThis work was actually done on three different occasions as three separate jobs. Overall and in every detail, we were very pleased. Workers were very polite and work was all done very professionally. They showed up when they said they would, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and you could not tell that there had ever been a problem with the items that they fixed, that is all woodwork and painting blended in with what was already there so that you would never have known that it was fixed. All jobs came in under estimate and estimates were below what other contractors had quoted. We would use them again in a heart beat if we had any work to be done.
Description of Work: A Closet door was replaced with double bifold doors. This required enlarging the opening of the door and moving the light switch. Sills on Palladium style window in bonus room were rotted and needed to be replaced. This was done by removing the old sill and replacing it, then painting it both inside and out. Front door framing was rotted and needed to be replaced. All new wood was used to replace old and then painted. Wood on dormers needed to be replaced due to weathering. Water damage in the living room around a window needed to be fixed.

 + 5 moreThey put in several bi fold doors for my daughter’s closet. Her closet had a single 18 inch door and it was a single desk closet. They did a very good job and we were very pleased. The price was also reasonable. We had them repair one of our big windows in our bonus room and also our front door. We also had them repair two side lights on either side of the front door. They also repaired the sill, painted the door and painted everything else. The closet and the bonus room window combined was less than $1500. We had got several quotes from other people but Leon Home Repairs quote was less than the rest of the companies.
