Leon Home Repairs

Work was done neatly and according to customer request. Cleanup was super. All materials belonging to provider were packed up after completion of job. Dust was cleaned up.

Not a very good job. Did not caulk all the bare wood, so the replacement wood also needed to be replaced. Sloppy painting done in the repair area.

I scheduled for someone to come by and give me an estimate on a few things around the house. I typically do my own work, but unfortunately had undergone surgery and couldn't perform the work myself at the time. Took a day for someone to call me back, told me it would be a week before they could get out, but then randomly showed up earlier. The guy who came by was friendly and took a bunch of pictures on an Ipad and said it would be a couple of days before he could get me an estimate. A few days later I received a call from someone saying they were on the way to my house to give me an estimate on the work... Long story short, when the estimate came in I almost choked on my food. I had a general idea of what it should have been given I am no stranger to jobs around the house and what it entailed, but I was speechless. They were more than twice the amount as the other estimates I received and the quote was NOT INCLUDING SUPPLIES. They literally just quoted me on labor. While I never got to see the quality of their work and everyone I met and spoke with was friendly, I would recommend you get several quotes before using them.

The Leon Home Repair team was awesome. They were punctual, easy to communicate with, hardworking and knowledgeable.

Left three messages at three different times with my name & phone number to get a quote on a bathroom remodel and painting on the outside of the house and NO ONE has called back!

I am very pleased and happy with the work that was done to correct several mistakes that the painting company created and left for me to get fixed. I have some more repairs that are needed and will definitely be calling Leon Home Repairs again.

Chris and his team were extremely professional and good communicators. When our gutter flashing repair revealed a ton of water damage and led to an unexpectedly large job, they completed it as efficiently as weather would allow and their work was definitely professional quality.

Chris's crew was timely, considerate to our home and polite throughout the project. I was very happy with their work. He kept the project on time.

Chris's crew did a fantastic job installing our dog kennel. The finish is beautiful and our dog loves it. We've received many compliments on his work.

I sent a request to the company to get a quote, which I did not receive a response until I followed up with them a few days later. There representative came out and prepared a quote. I had a few questions on the quote, as well as about their coverage. I emailed and called a few times and still have not received any reply. The customer service is horrible, therefore I would not recommend using them because if I have had this much trouble contacting them before the work has began.....

We are THRILLED with Leon Home Repairs. They were AWESOME to work with! We LOVE our new bathroom! Thanks to Chris and especially Edison for a fantastic job! Having a major construction project going on in your home is a daunting task and they made it so easy for us. They were prompt, very courteous, clean, always texted us to let us know when they were coming or if they were running a little late. There were no surprises and they stayed on budget with their original estimate. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any home repairs we have and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone considering home renovations!!

The young man who was sent to do the work was very thorough and polite. He completed the steps in the allotted time. I was hoping there would be time to complete more projects, but her worked very hard to get the steps done beautifully. The contact I had with the owner/provider, was less than satisfactory. I had to call him for details and dates of service on more than one occasion. He also spoke very softly into his phone and I had to ask him to repeat himself. He did not return calls when he said he would. I was informed by Angie's List personnel there would be a visit to look at the work to be done to tell me what materials, etc. to provide. The owner/provider said that this was not how the coupon worked So, when the worker arrived, I had no materials and he had to leave the site to purchase them. This took time away from the completion of the work.

The repair was poorly done. They technician asked my son to hold items while he was working, plaster on banister, front porch and no cleanup.

Dimas arrived on time, reviewed scope of work and off he went. He was here from 8:30am to 5:30 pm. worked on the front door first, letting me know of issues as he found them. The wet rot had been allowed to progress for some time so we expected some "mission creep". After finishing the front door, he moved on to the back French doors. This is where the most deterioration was. As he discovered issues, he let me know, asking for permission to install a fix, whether it was new weather stripping under the doors or creating a new place for the door slide looking mechanism. He spent time to look at the problem to find the better fix. I feel like he did what needed to be done without going overboard, giving me a lasting solution. He cleaned the work area as he went. I am quite satisfied with the work and the worker. We were quoted $490 and with some extra work, the final price was very reasonable.

Chris and company were a real pleasure to work with! It took our project a while to get going because after getting our first estimate, we re-thought our project and decided to get a whole new estimate based on our new ideas...but Chris was happy to oblige us--and give us advice and help us visualize what would and wouldn't work in our house. When Chris and his workers arrived, they were friendly, but very businesslike. I always had the impression that they were serious about getting the job done efficiently. Occasionally an email would go unanswered, but Chris was generally very responsive to our questions (and I have to admit that we had a LOT of questions, since we haven't done much renovating before this project--a lot of things were new to us!) The work itself was great. Our house is no palace, just a modest ranch home, but the quality of work was great for us. If you have impeccably high standards, you might choose a more expensive contractor, but Leon was perfect for our purposes and budget. We're very happy! Great service after the job, too: After they painted the windows, they were stuck shut, and Chris was happy to send a guy by to help us open them up a week or so after the work was actually done. That was great.

The crew was on time, very professional. Chris took the time to explain his recommendations on ordering a made to size door. Removed old ceramic tile and leveled the floor for installation of the new flooring. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

Obviously it never went at all, no response. Lousy way to run a business. Would never attempt to use him.

Contractor worked hard to coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and his own people. He was excellent about keeping in touch, both by phone and by e-mail. Cleanup was commendable. He worked well with schedules of those installing cabinets and appliances.

He came out to the house to quote us on a couple of projects. My husband left work early to meet him at the house. After we told him what we wanted done, he said he needed to make a couple of calculations so we told him to email us a quote. A few days later, there was no quote so we emailed the office. They finally got back to us - they wanted to charge us $450 to power wash a 1700 square ft driveway! This is a pretty outrageous price. The quotes for the other projects were similarly ridiculous. We ended us getting the driveway pressure washed by another reputable company that charged less than 62% of Leon's price. I was looking forward to starting a relationship with a reputable contractor but no luck this time!

Mr. Leon came to the house to assess the work we wanted to have done, promised me an estimate in the near future, and walked away - and that's the last we ever heard from him. No call, no email, no estimate.

Edison and Dima arrived on time and ready to work. The heavy oversized mirror and ceiling fans had special challenges which required physical strength and professional experience. All of the tasks were completed in a professional and timely manner. I will definitely use this contractor again.

Mr. Leon and his team removed old vinyl flooring. They installed a tile floor and ibaseboards, removed old cabinets, repaired and repainted the walls, ceiling and baseboard. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. This is the second time I have contracted with Leon Home Repairs to perform work on my house
