Description of Work: It took a while because he is so busy and I have a hectic schedule to get together to discuss the work. However, the vendor extended his offer so I could get the work I wanted done. He came over on time and because he finished ahead of schedule even repaired a window frame for me. The work involved replacing 4 rotting boards in my deck. I paid extra for the wood, put feel 150.00 for labor was very reasonable since it took him and an assistant about 3 hours to finish.

Description of Work: They demo our kitchen in record time. Very hard workers who don't mind the hard jobs. Dependable, honest and have more skill sets then just the demo job I needed done.

Description of Work: I asked the company to remove the gutters and fix the rotted fascia boards. I was given an estimate for $850. The company that will be installing the new gutters will remove the old gutters free and fix the rotted boards including painting for $7 a linear foot. This will work out to <$50.

Description of Work: Leon Home Repairs previously did a nice job on repair work on my home. I had then give me an estimate for additional work. After I received the estimate, they posted a Big Deal to replace rotted wood. Since the estimate I had requested was to replace rotted wood, I purchased the deal thinking I could apply the $149 coupon toward the $489 job. It turns out that the previous estimate was not valid with the coupon, and I needed a new estimate and would need to purchase materials separate. The estimate was not broken down into separate labor and material charges, so I just decided to ask for a refund. Under these circumstances I generally would not select a grade, but since I can not submit the refund request without doing so, I am selecting a C thinking of of this as an "average" as opposed to excellent or very good experience.

Description of Work: I was told by another Angie's List provider that I had wood rot on my roof so I purchased this Big Deal to take care of that. However, when he came out he said there was no evidence of any water damage or wood rot.

Description of Work: Chris Leon was great at first, very prompt in responding. We were hit by several other very expensive home and car repairs that made this one hard to pull off. Each time, we tried to back down on what we were getting done, but Chris really encouraged us to do a certain minimal level, and that unfortunately was the minimal level that made it out of our price range at this time. (Basically, he didn't want us to do a job that we would regret, and I appreciate that). I regret that we could not end up finding a way to get this work done, and hope that I can find a way to work with him in the future.

Description of Work: Our exterior shutters were made of aluminum but were damaged due to storms. Chris said he would remake them in the same style using quality wood and color match our existing color shutter. Service delivered and we are really happy with the work.

Description of Work: I had a front porch column with wood rot. Gentlemen who came out were very courteous and professional. Scheduled return visit to replace the bad portion of the column, and carried the work out as planned, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Minor additional fees for supplies that were not covered by the Big-Deal cost.

Description of Work: We did a total bathroom renovation in our master bedroom. We had a vintage 1970's bathroom with vinyl floor, olive tiles and matching white cabinetry that had, as if more problems were needed, a serious water damage issue coming from a leaking shower. After getting 4 separate quotes we went with Leon Home repairs which offered the best price and flexibility. Work went very well and within the alloted time and budget, even though we found a few nasty surprises here and there. Overall, very good craftsmanship and attention to detail. After all was done and paid they came back without delay for small touches and fixes, always needed with complex work.
