We had Ernesto, Carlo, and Christian install LVP flooring from Lowes. We saw all the bad reviews, and were very nervous. I was underfoot a lot, making an absolute niusance of myself during the scheduling and installation phases. Everyone we spoke to was very patient and understanding of my anxiety. They have implemented a review policy to reward workers who earn good ratings, and remove the workers who were doing sloppy jobs and getting bad reviews. As to the work - these guys are total pros. Carlo has been doing it the longest (8 years), and Ernesto was here mostly to help them out and translate for non-Spanish speakers. You'd think they had been doing it for much longer, because they worked so well together. I saw them nitpick boards that had chipped edges, so I didn't have to. The end result is a beautifully put together floor, with smooth edges and trim. The repeating pattern a lot of people complain about with LVP flooring is well hidden by the layout they used. If you need LVP floor installed through Lowes + Legacy Flooring, ask for this team specifically. They will not let you down!

Legacy flooring did an amazing job on our floors. But sadly, the workers stole from our home and won’t admit that they stole. They stole something very important from my family. My mom and dad served in the military. My dad was in the Navy for 20 years and he has earned medals and coins. These coins are not like quarters or dimes. These are war coins. He had a coin from Desert storm ( Gulf War) which he fought in. My dad was so upset that they stole it. It sad that people steal from others. Not knowing the value of items. Also the customer service was horrible. They didn’t care at all, that they have stole items from our home. I hope you guys see this comment and do something about it.

I had to wait a long time for the installation crew to show up (I'm located over a hundred miles away from legacy flooring). But when the installation guy did finally arrive at my house he was professional and definitely good at his job. It wasn't entirely a smooth process but some of that was Lowe's. Bottom line though at the end of the day we had our carpet professionally installed and my wife has been happy ever since. Despite there being a few issues it overall wasn't too bad. Legacy flooring got the installation completed on the agreed upon contract date and it was done professionally. Satisfied Customer!

Horrible! I would NEVER recommend that you have floor installed by Legacy Flooring. They are incompetent and not truthful in their dealings with you. We bought vinyl flooring from Lowes. An individual from Legacy came to measure the floor. My wife and I pointed out that the floor was not level and she looked at this problem and said that Legacy would take care of it when they came to do the install. I also made two phone calls to Legacy about the floor and they insured me that they would take care of it when they came to the house. When the installers finally arrived, they pulled apart our vinyl and proceeded to tell us that we needed to hire a contractor to fix the floor. I called Lowes and spoke to one of their customer reps. He promised me that Lowes would cover the cost of this repair so I hired a general contractor to level our floor. After the person finished the leveling, Legacy sent three people to our house. They looked over the floor and approved it for installation. We set up another appointment for the vinyl installation. When the new installers arrived, they looked at the floor and said that it still needed some sanding to level it further. He said that he could do that. Then I received a phone call from Legacy telling me that it would cost me $515 for the installer to take care of this additional leveling. (Alternatively I was told that I could get my contractor to return and continue to work on it.) If there was a problem with the floor, it should have been addressed when the three individuals were here and examined the sub floor and approved. I should not be expected to pay this additional money when Legacy said that the floor was ready for the vinyl installation. After speaking with Lowes, they spoke to Legacy and said that the people that they sent were not the installers. Even though they approved the floor, if the actual installers say that there was a problem then this becomes my problem. The fact that they approved the floor means that the cost should fall on them. The cost of sanding my floor should be covered by Legacy since they approved the installation. After speaking with Lowes again, Legacy said they would lower the cost to $360 and Lowes said that they were willing to split this with me. I agreed to this because I am tired of having my house torn apart. But I do plan to tell anyone that I know that they should NEVER work with Lowes to have flooring installed by Legacy Flooring. They are not an honest and trustworthy company. If they had been upfront and honest from the start. I have been misled so many times by this company that if I could give them a rating of 0 stars I would.

The installation itself was great, however I was over charged. The cost for the labor was not discussed before the work was done and they damaged my dishwasher and refuse to compensate for it.

I've been to Lowe's several times, and normally have okay experiences...and then I decided to get an estimate for wood flooring. I paid $35 to have their contractor, Legacy Flooring, come out to take measurements for an estimate. Legacy called me a little after 10 o'clock at night, and insisted on scheduling an appointment before 4 p.m. on each day that I suggested. I agreed to have them come out on a Friday at 4:00 p.m., and told them that I would have to leave work early. I took time off work to make sure that I was at home when they arrived. Legacy did not arrive at 4, and no one called. At 4:40, Ben called to tell me that they would be at my house in 20-30 minutes, and that he "hope this is not a problem." I said, "It is a problem. Are you aware that your appointment was at 4, and that I took off work to make sure that I was here?" Ben rudely responded that he was measuring other customers' homes. I had to remind him that I, too, am a customer. He arrived with Taylor about 25 minutes later. Do you think either of them bothered to acknowledge that they were more than an hour late, or apologized for wasting my time? The answer is no. I told Ben that running behind schedule is understandable, but that he had to have realized that he was behind schedule earlier in the day, and could and should have called well before 4 o'clock to let me know. That way, I could have worked a full day. He rudely responded that they have a lot of customers and that he had to take measurements at their homes. It took every bit of etiquette not to tell them right then and there to get the **** out of my house. I allowed them to finish their measurements and they left. I brought this to Lowe's attention, only to be told that this is a common complaint that they get about Ben and Legacy Flooring. The Lowe's manager also told me that the installers are different people, so I wouldn't be dealing with Ben. I told him that if taking measurements had to be scheduled after 10 o'clock at night, and showing up to take the measurements was this unprofessional, I can't imagine what I would have to deal with to actually get floors installed. More than a week later when I had not heard from Lowe's, I called to see about the estimate (I paid for it, after all-and most places provide free estimates). I was given a vague estimate over the phone, and had to request that a written estimate be sent by email. I received one a few days later. The vagueness of that wasn't much better, and I did not receive a useful written estimate until I went to the store and waited 30 minutes for someone who knew how to print one from their system returned from lunch to give me an estimate. Needless to say, my purchase and installation will not be done by Lowe's. Even more importantly, it will not be done by Legacy Flooring.

The only reason that I continued to work with this company is because I was being held against my will to use them by Lowe's. This is by far one of the most incompetent companies I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Start to finish it has been completely unprofessional and a total nightmare. The process started in August with needing to get an estimator out to our property to take measurements in order to purchase carpet. Mind you, we tore up existing carpet and we're wanting to just replace it with new carpet. It took several weeks to get someone out to the property and the woman that did showed up was rude and spent less than five minutes taking measurements. I should've known by the quickness of her visit that the thoroughness of this job was going to be an issue. I was told that I would hear from someone in the next couple days. Two weeks went by and I still had not heard from anybody. After calling back myself I was told that I needed to contact Lowe's to set up the purchase of my carpet now that I have measurements. Thanks for letting me know. The purchasing of the carpet went smoothly but I was told that I would need to again work with Legacy for the installation. I wish now that I had just gotten the carpet delivered to our house and had another company do the installation. After several more weeks of trying to get on their schedule, an installation crew came out to the house. We were told that they were not able to do the job because there was an issue with our concrete sub flooring having holes. Was told that we needed to make repairs to the concrete ourselves and then call to reschedule. Why wasn't that mentioned over a month ago when your estimator came out to our property? We could have solved this problem a month in advance before you even came out for the installation if your estimator had done her job. More time and money out of our pockets- we made the necessary repairs to the flooring. Two weeks later we scheduled for a crew to come out and install for a second time. When they arrived they told us that they still couldn't do the installation job because our concrete repair was not good enough. The floor wasn't smooth enough for their liking. Was told that an on-site manager would be needed to come out to the property and see what can be done. Was told I would hear from somebody within 24 to 48 hours. A week later I still hadn't heard from anybody, per usual. After playing phone tag with the company for another week I finally got on the schedule to have an on-site inspector come out. The on-site inspector did nothing but take pictures and dodge questions about what we could do to fix the flooring and stated that we needed to wait for the official report. Days go by and still had no answers about what needed to be done to the floor in order to have an installation done. It's now November! We've been going back-and-forth with this company for over three months now over a simple carpet instal! After having Lowe's contact Legacy on our behalf and demanded a report, we were told that we needed to yet again repair the concrete floors and use leveler to make the concrete more smooth. I asked if Legacy was able to do these repairs for us since they seem to be the one to have the issue with our floors. Was told that Legacy is not allowed to do repairs on floors and we would have to do the job ourselves. More time and money out of our pockets- we yet again made repairs to the floors. Call to schedule a THIRD installation and was told that since Legacy did not make the repairs, even though I was told multiple times they were not allowed to, we would have to have another on-site manager come out to the property to inspect the floors before we could schedule an installation. But, the person in charge of scheduling that isn't here, so leave a message and we will get back to you in a couple days. Mind you this entire time our house is completely unlivable and our renovation has been set back three months now because our flooring could not be installed due to a company that refuses to do the job that they've been PAID to do simply because it's wasn't a quick easy installation. Needless to say, I was completely and utterly fed up with the incompetency of this company and demanded a refund of our purchase and installation price. I would never, never work with this company in any capacity going forward. I urge you to think twice before allowing these people to come into your home and waste your time and money. You'd be better just doing it yourself.

They came out and measured and the person that came was polite, personable and on time however even though I was upfront with them about dips and small cracks in the slab that I had confirmed via a structural engineer were typical and all flooring companies run into small things like that in a slab and can easily fill/seal it, they continued to give estimates and have me ready to set up a time and that they could do "leveling" to fix any imperfections before installing. 2 days ago I was told they were not going to be able to do the floor because of small cracks or dips. So I picked them, have been working towards having them install and its been a total of 4 weeks and now I have nothing and have to start all over. My advice.. have a backup plan in case they change their minds

The carpet looks niceI felt like they did a nice job but even tho I can't prove it, I found a few items of mine were missing. They were the only people besides the guy that came to measure my rooms that were in my house unaccompanied. My adult children were in and out of the house while they were working. It breaks my heart because they were such nice guys. The owner was contacted by the manager of the store were I purchased the carpet. I expected a phone call from the owner but never received one. I'm heart broken because of the sentimental value of the items taken. I'm a widow and all the items taken were gifts from my husband.
Description of Work: I bought the carpet at a local home improvement store and they were contracted to install the carpet. They moved my furniture and removed the old carpet and padding. Then they installed the new carpet.

We carpeted liked most of the house. I liked the installation company so much that I requested them the next time. I requested them a few times because they are fast, they are polite, they cleaned up after themselves, they were in and out and you wouldn't have known they were even there except there was a whole new carpet. The shortest one was about twenty minutes, they did a room and the longest one was the staircase, the playroom, the hallway and the closets and that took maybe two hours.
Description of Work: Legacy Flooring installed the carpet. I had the carpet put in in like three separate sections. I had most of the downstairs done, then I had the stairs and down stairs done, then I had my bedroom and closet done.

The hardwood was purchased through Lowe's Home Improvement - Galaxy drive - Wake Forest, NC. Kelly Sears was very helpful in assisting me with the hardwood type and coior to match existing hardwood floor in the hallway. Elmer Argucta and crew was very professional and worked tireless hours to complete the job. They did have to come out again to trim the door threshold in the hallway.
