Workers arrived promptly,and were very professional,explained everything that they were going to do. I am completely satisfied with their work, woud recommend them to others.

After interviewing many granite stone companies for over one month, we selected KJ Natural Stone for our kitchen project because of their low price, A+ BBB rating and experience. We were very impressed with the service and the attention given to us. My wife was very particular with selecting the right granite color and pattern. The salesperson was very patient and knowledgeable. He was able to guide us to a decision which we were very pleased with. The installation crew was very experienced and professional. Overall, they did an outstanding job with this project. We were very happy with the results. We highly recommend them for your next granite countertop installation.

The actual granite that was installed looks fine, though many of the seams where the granite meets wall tile looks a little rough. We feel like we got some nice counters at a reasonable price, but will not be using this company on our next home or recommending them to our friends and colleagues. We ended up going to pick out or approve a granite slab three times, and found the people that came out to our home friendly and competent. The staff that coordinates the visits to our home do a very poor job scheduling the techs, and don't tell you when you order their product how many days you will be stuck in the house waiting from them to show up. Nearly each time they came out to our home, they were either many hours late, didn't show up at all, or came at a time when we specifically instructed them not to come. These are good people that don't seem to write down or remember appointments, and don't communicate internally or with customers too well. We wish them luck and good fortune, but lost a future customer due to poor management.

Product and installation went as expected, no issues. They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great deal on countertops.

From the original sales, we were able to pick out the granite we liked from KJ's selection onsite. The owner was available and very helpful in helping us decide on what would work best within our home. The installation people were very courteous - even after our Bullmastiff gave them a bit of a scare ;-) The work was done professionally and cleanly. At the end of the experience, the owner made it a point to come and inspect the work done and to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. We highly recommend KJ Natural Stone.

I'd set up an initial consultation with the owner, left work early to be home, and he did not show up or answer the phone. A few days later, another person from the company left a message asking when they could come out to give an estimate, and didn't mention anything about the owner not showing for the appointment, like he didn't even know about it. So, I called back to give them a second chance to come out, got voicemail, and explained that the owner had missed the first appointment. No call back. Then about a week later they called again asking to schedule an appointment, and I mentioned the missed appointment once again, but they didn't know anything about it, so I just told them I was working with someone else at that point. I was not impressed with the lack of communication or the missed appointment. My neighbor had her countertops installed by them and was very happy, saying the price was the best she's found, but she did say they never showed up on time and it was hard to get them on the phone.

I'm very annoyed with them. A month went by and there was a dry spot on the marble about the size of a quarter. The main construction guy couldn't do anything about it and said that I would have to have the original marble people fix it. He came out and resealed it and told me that he'd call back in 2 days. We took the excess sealer off ourselves per Nanfer's instructions to do so and the spot still hasn't gone away. We let the sealer sit for 48 hours before buffing off. There was no change. He told us it was in the marble and said that he couldn't do anything for us. He asked me what I wanted him to do and I told him not to take the whole thing out and replace. I'm very careful and I'm sure that I didn't put the mark there. I've got vaseline soaking it and I don't know what to do.

If you are looking for bargain granite tops and you do not care about the quality of the job, or the integrity of the business owner, these guys are just what you are looking for. [1] We have a cook island. The template they made and followed did not match the island area. What is more, they installed it crooked initially and were going to leave it that way until I said something. I finally accepted it because the installer told me it would be 3 weeks before they could get a new on installed. [2] I removed the screws from the tops the day before so they would not have to get into our cabinets. I did not take several out on the cook top. They removed those. After they left I was cleaning the faces of the cabinets and noticed one of the drawers would not close all the way. The reason for this is the rail was bent down 1/2 inch. The gorilla who removed the screw apparently swung on it as he was removing the screws. [3] It is my sincere belief the installers tried to open one of the casement windows for ventilation during the seaming of the larger pieces. Problem was they did not release the latches!!! They bowed the sash of the window out 1 1/2 inches and broke the inner pane of glass. I did not notice it until I was walking around the back of the house with a painter. I called the owner and sent pictures. The owner responded that since it took a month for me to report the damage, he thought I was trying to pull a fast one and refused to fix the window. [4] Back splash is not consistent as to dimension and the cut is uneven. This causes the gap where the back splash and the top meet to be irregular. They filled it with caulk but it looks like crap.

We met Nanfer and his staff at the home show in Raleigh. They quoted us a price for our new countertops on the spot for a specific kind of granite. But after coming to my home and giving the actual estimate it was much more than the original quote. Based on price per sq. ft. we had over estimated with the original one so we were surprised to get a price higher than the amount at the homeshow. I want to tell you just how great this company is. Nanfer not only gave me the granite at the original price quoted, he had his installers at my home one week later to install the granite in my kitchen! Turn-around was very fast and the quality of workmanship is nothing short of amazing! We also hired the plumber through them and he was just as professional and amazing as the granite installers! We did also contract then to do a tile backsplash for us but the tile guy never showed up and I have called several times and still no call from that installer. I believe this is because of a family emergency and the owner is not in country at the moment. So I think this will be rectified once he returns.

They did a good job and I am fine with them. My fiancee and I were looking to remodel the kitchen and we went shopping for tile. We went to their place and found tile and they beat everybody's price by a large amount. They were prompt in installing it and did an excellent job of installing it. They did a really good job and I have no concerns with them. I would recommend them highly.

Nanfer responded to a estimate request the same night I submitted it. We lined everything up and selected the granite slab within a few weeks. Work was done promptly and to our satisfaction.

I think they went out of their way to get good quality granite and a couple of beautiful slabs of granite. The downside was that we asked for a particular edge and we did not get it. We spent about $2200 for the kitchen countertops. They do not template, but measure instead. They offered to take the granite island off and give it the edge we wanted and we told them to forget about it, so they took off the extra charge for the edge. There were 4or 5 other standard edges that did not require an extra charge and you can pick free of charge any of those edges you want. There was no extra charge, but we still did not get the edge that we wanted and there was no offer to resolve that. It looks beautiful.

The project cost me about $3000. Nanfer Lopez is the owner. He was extremely patience and helpful in selection of three different granites. He was happy to go to several different places and advice me on the selections. He was willing to make the cabinets from the same piece, unlike other companies. He and his team were very prompt and accommodating. They gave me very good quality for the price. I will use this company again in the future.

Overall, it was a good experience. Very happy with price and result, but glad I was careful in recording items. Nanfer, owner of KJ Natural Stones, is the person dealt with. He introduced himself to us while we were selecting granite at a granite slab supplier. He asked if he could provide a bid on the job. We had already decided on a different granite installer, but had not notified that company yet. So we agreed to let Nanfer bid. His bid was about $300 less than the other installer. His bid was based on a careful diagram of the base cabinets that I created. I'm a geeky engineer, so was capable of doing this properly. At the time, I told him that he had to add the overhang in his estimate, which he said he did. Important point to be touched on later. I asked that he formalize his bid and email it to us. He did. I noticed that there was no statement on taxes in his bid, so I sent back asking for that. They responded via email that there would be no additional taxes. I also asked for references of jobs he recently did, which he supplied. All 4 I called had very good things to say about him, so I selected KJ Natural Stones to do the job. Note, I don't normally recommend basing selection on price alone, which I didn't do here. He arrived promptly to measure the counters exactly for planning his work. This is called creating the 'template'. I told him I wanted to see the template on the stone prior to him cutting it. He said "Of course." And then he told me that the square footage was somewhat larger than that shown on my diagram, because my diagram did not include overhang. I reminded him that at the time of his estimate, we agreed that he would have to add overhang, but somehow, he said this we didn't agree to this. But he agreed not to increase the price. He also asked if we wanted extra overhang on the island as some people get. We told him no, we didn't want any extra. Later that week he told me that his workers cut the stone, even though he didn't call me into see the template on the stone before he cut it. Very apologetic, but it was too late. Fortunately, due to the stone we selected, this was not a major problem, so I let it ride. He showed up very promptly with the stone to install it. We saw immediately that the piece for the kitchen island did not have enough overhang. Had it been 1/4 inch longer, we could have lived with it. We said that he needed to supply another piece which was long enough. He then said that I told him that we didn't want extra overhang on the island. That is correct. I didn't want extra. But neither did I say that I wanted less than enough. He said that he was out of stone from the slab and that he would have to buy another complete slab for that one piece. I don't know, but I guess this would cost him over $1000. We stood firmly that he had to do whatever he had to do in order to get the island correct. He did not push back too hard, and agreed to do it. He kept saying that he wanted to do whatever was needed to make us happy. Three days later, he returned with a replacement piece which fit well. It was now time to pay. He said that he needed to add in the taxes, which they forgot to detail on the quote. I pulled out my laptop and showed him the email exchange covering this point. He grumbled, but said he needed to make sure I was happy with the job, and dropped the issue of the taxes. Throughout the process, little things were going wrong. But, he was very, very interested in correcting any problems such that I would be happy with the end result. It was a bit of a bumpy ride, but by sticking to my guns, and allowing him to correct any problems, we are very happy with the end result. His was the lowest estimate. The work quality was very good. I think we got more than our money's worth.
