Ken Catalano Tile and Stone

They were great! When I called, Ken answered immediately. He came over the same day to do an estimate. Originally my master bath had 3x3 white subway tile and the tilework on the bench was horrible. Anyway, I had already bought some 6x6 tile that I really liked but asked for his experienced opinion on how it would look. He was very honest and said that he would suggest 12x12 being the predominant tile given the size of my bathroom. I really appreciated his professionalism and honesty, especially since it would cost me less to have him hang the 12x12 than the 6x6 tile I already had. He really went above and beyond and kindly offered to take a look at tile with me since I'm not the best at visualizing. We selected the tile and accents (he suggested some stone shelves and some natural stone squares). Ken and Vin showed up on time the day of the job, were respectful and went right to work. Ken was clearly very experienced, methodical, and had no problem answering questions or explaining how he was going to work through the job. It is a little hard to explain but having such experience was important to getting the finished product; just knowing how the proper prep, layouts, corners, and slopes would both interplay and result in the look and function were invaluable. I have plans for several other tile jobs and would definitely use them again.
