After selling my farm in SD and moving to NC, I was looking for a home to purchase and also some property to invest my money in. I was very lucky to have come across Kelly DeBrosse's profile when searching for a real estate agent. From our first meeting I was very comfortable with Kelly. I knew very little about the real estate business, and Kelly taught me everything I needed to know. She suggested that I think about investing in rental housing, and after investigating I decided to do that. Kelly helped me to find 5 rental units all my units were top-notch deals. Kelly was always looking out for my best interests and was always very accommodating. She put many miles on taking me around to see many units. After buying the rental units, Kelly helped me find a very nice home for myself. Total purchase price of the six units was $961,500. She took me to see houses as much as 50 miles away or more to see houses that I was interested in. I can't say enough good things about Kelly and her team and how they helped me out. I don't think that I could have found a better agent to work with and would definitely go to her again if I would ever be looking to purchase more real estate. Mike F.

Kelly provided exceptional service and knowledge for the purchase of my new home. We had several bidding wars, and Kelly guided me through the process, protecting my interests and providing me with the information necessary to make decisions. She was there with me the whole time, responsive to my questions and concerns, and sitting next to me on closing day. It was an emotional journey, and Kelly provided a steady, clear-headed approach to assure that I got the right house for me. I cannot say enough good things about her and she's an excellent agent to help with either the buying or selling of your home.

Her buyers' agent, Robert Briere, responded very promptly, was very courteous and set us up with viewings. It wasn't easy to find what we wanted as we were painfully specific, but they were incredibly patient and helpful at every step. We were even feeling embarrassed, but Robert was relentlessly awesome, courteous, available, helpful in every imaginable way. They were there before, during and after we finally closed on our property. They even gave us all the information on utilities and the HOA. After we moved in Robert came over with treats, a bottle of Champaign, and a handy tool set. since he has checked on us to make sure all is well. We don't just recommend Kelly and her amazing buyer's agent, Robert Briere; we adore them. Thank you so much for getting us into the best home we could possibly expect. If we could give Kelly an A+ we would. From start to finish, she was invaluable as a source of knowledge, insight and guidance in buying a home in the Raleigh area. Kelly obviously knew the area well and did not rush us into making a decision. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and to deliver many options and possibilities that fit into our goals. She worked very hard and took the time to really serve our needs in a friendly and understanding manner. Kelly was highly responsive. No trouble getting hold of her and she was quick to act in our behalf in navigating the inevitable challenges that go with buying a house. When we had an issue, she was always there for us, in our corner, with a solution. She had a knack for explaining not just the advantages of a house, but the disadvantages -- not trying to push us into a sale as some real estate agents have in the past. We found an awesome house for a great price and it has worked out very well for us. In fact, even after the sale Kelly was available to us in answering questions and helping us get adjusted to the area or find reputable home service providers. It's now May, and last week she answered a question I had about the area. We would highly recommend Kelly. She gets results, and you will be fully satisfied.

Kelly was a definite blessing when it came to find us a home in Raleigh. Our search took over 2 1/2 years, do to our very specific requirements. She was extremely patient and professional. She knows the area in great detail and was able to point out areas we would feel most comfortable. Once we finally did find the house we decided to purchase, she made sure every step of the process was efficient and painless. She has a great network of professionals from Mortgage Brokers, Inspectors, Lawyers to Contractors and everyone she has recommended has been proof of her expertise.

We were referred to her by several co-workers and were instantly impressed by her professionalism, communication skills, and knowledge of the local real estate market. She met with us on multiple occasions for showings and was very willing to work around our hectic schedules. The amount of time and energy that Kelly invested into helping us with our home purchase was quite impressive. We felt that we could contact her at any time with any questions or concerns that we had. She also recommended a mortgage broker and real estate attorney that we used for the original closing and have since used them again for a refinance. I am a second time home buyer and my wife is a first time buyer that was very anxious about purchasing her first home. Kelly was able to clearly answer all of her questions and explain everything that is involved in a home purchase. She was a great advisor during the negotiation process and helped get us a great purchase price. Kelly was willing to go the extra mile to help us find the home that we wanted. We can't speak highly enough about her as she really helped us start to get established in the area. Since closing on our house we have recommended Kelly to several friends and my wife's parents (who also purchased a home using Kelly as their buyer's agent).

We met with Kelly to inquire about hiring her as a buyers agent. My husband and I are looking to purchase our first home. She was very knowledgable and took time to meet with us, but overall the experience led me to hire another realtor. The first issue was that when we arrived for our meeting at her office she had us sit down in her workspace and continued to work for about 15 to 20 mins while we waited. She said there was an urgent matter that needed her attention and that she would do the same for us if necessary because she hates losing a house. I understood this but it was unprofessional to have us wait in her work space. Once she was finished we moved to a conference room together with materials we could have been reviewing while waiting for her, instead of our only option being watching her working on her computer. While we were meeting she checked her phone continuously (which was not on silent) which was another red flag for me. Realtors must be on call 24/7 but when someone is working with me it would be nice to have their undivided attention. The final issue that ultimately led me to another realtor was her tone in response to any questions I would ask. When asking for clarification on the difference between a buyers agent and designated agency her first response was a rather short "Did you not understand what I already said?" Her communication style was rushed and short overall. I'm sure that Kelly is a wonderful agent to have in an aggressive market where the buyer already has an understanding of the process and does not need clarification. I found her attention was divided and her communication style short, which does not work well for a first time home buyer.

We interviewed several realtors and chose her as our listing agent because of the services she provided, her experience, and knowledge of the current market. She went above and beyond when it came to helping us stage our house for sale and for recommending small / easily done projects that improved the marketability of our house. She and her team were very responsive to calls and emails. As our buyer's agent, she was an excellent representative of our interests and advised us well throughout negotiations. Her rapport with the seller's agents she contacted on our behalf also helped during our negotiations to buy our new home. It was obvious to us that she was not looking to make a sale, she was looking to make the right sale for us. I would highly recommend Kelly and will call her again for any real estate transaction.

I can pretty much say that I am the reason most people dont want to be Real Estate Agents. I change my mind constantly, I switch price point constantly, I have an opinion on everything (including myself..lol). I hired Kelly Debrosse in late January 2010 to find a house. I was very specific as to what I wanted and didnt budge for a second. The market was not doing well and I knew I was asking for the moon (but theres no harm in asking, is there?). We initially started in Raleigh..then moved to Oxford...then moved to Durham. Raleigh is her specialty and I was astounded to see how much she knew of other areas. We pretty much drove around all the Raleigh area and the outskirts of Raleigh. I finally decided on a house. She negotiated the house but before we put an offer in, she did her homework and found out what houses in the area were getting (per sq. foot), she pulled city reports on my house (to see if there were problems...and there were...), she found out the selling history on the house I was interested in and then insisted I have an asbestos analysis done since the house was built in 1974. Turns out the house was "hot and positive" with Asbestos issues. She negotiated the price and was able to get me a $15,000 Asbestos allowance so that I wouldnt have to swallow that problem. She then put me in contact with qualified contractors (asbestos removal, engineers, kitchen remodelers, General Contractors, lawncare people, handymen, insurance agents) and then took her own personal time to help me find good pricing on flooring people, paintors etc. You should understand how important this was to me..I had just moved to the area in Jan 2010 AND I KNEW NO ONE. I banked on her expertise and resources and everything got done beautifully and without a hitch. She has a canny ability to see the whole picture of a Real Estate Purchase... and she even stages! And she is very accessible...returns calls very quickly...Once you decide to go with her, you pretty much dont have to lift a finger. SHE DID ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.. and considering I was such a difficult sale, she managed to do it all with a smile and with a sweetness that I can now say I have come to know personally in time. She took such good care of me that she became my 1st friend in Raleigh.. You will find that there is no better agent in all of Raleigh than Kelly.
