The stove worked fine. The ice maker and freezer did not work on the fridge. From February 10 through April 18th, 2020, I tried multiple times to have the unit replaced. He promised many times and never did. I have filed a case in small claims court. He is untrustworthy. Check out his BBB reviews. The appliances are faulty. Beware.
Description of Work: I purchased a refrigerator and stove for a rental unit.

I found an ad created by Jordan Appliances on craigslist and decided to check him out. He sells refurbished and used appliances that he repairs at his shop and sells out of storage units near Garner's U-Haul business. The refrigerator I purchased was an LG french door refrigerator with a water/ice dispenser in the door. Jordan said it was brand new, a scratch and dent floor model. He said I would receive a 1 year warranty from him as well as the factory warranty. I checked for reviews online, and found 1 complaint at the BBB. Other than that I didn't find anything else. I decided to buy the refrigerator and Jordan delivered and installed it. He said to wait 2 hours before turning it on, that a refrigerator needs to settle the fluids after it's been moved. He was correct, you should always let a refrigerator sit at least that long before turning it on. I waited 2 hours and plugged it in. The refrigerator works beautifully! It's been in my home for 2 weeks and everything works except for the dispenser. I am mechanically inclined and decided to get this refrigerator knowing I could fix it if something went wrong. I did catch Jordan in a few lies. But because the refrigerator works, I can tell he does know how to work on appliances. These are the lies I caught him telling me: Fib #1: Jordan removed the sticker with the serial number/model number so I knew there is no way I could sign up for the factory warranty. Fib #2: The shelves inside have slight scratches from use and the water filter display says it has been used for 3 months. It is not a scratch and dent floor model. Fib #3: The digitial display panel is black but the frig is white. Obviously the display panel was taken from a black frig and placed in this frig to get it working. I didn't realize this when I bought it, since it doesn't look out of the ordinary. When I was hunting online for the model number I discovered LG doesn't make a white frig with a black display panel. Ok, so the refrigerator works. He does know what he's doing. Just be aware he isn't forthcoming about his appliances. If he had told me the frig I was buying was actually a recalled LG model LFX28978 that he had refurbished, but there would be no factory warranty I probably wouldn't have bought it. You can't plug the refrigerators in at his storage units so you don't know if they work or not. The dispenser flap on my icemaker doesn't open and close because a spring is missing from the flap. I called Jordan the day after he installed the frig and he said the spring comes off easily sometimes. So I've waited 2 weeks for him to stop by and repair it, I've called twice to remind him and I've heard nothing. Fortunately, I ordered a spring the same day I spoke with him and will be able to repair it myself. I doubt Jordan will ever call me again, but that's OK because I know how to repair appliances and can handle it if/when it breaks down. Bottom line: don't buy expensive appliances from Jordan. The older used appliances he repairs himself will work most likely, because he does know how to repair appliances. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. I knew going into it I would most likely be the person repairing the frig and I got what I expected. Had I known there would be NO WARRANTY I would have paid $900 for the frig, not $1200. But you live and learn. If you are not mechanically inclined and are looking for a "new" appliance, don't buy from Jordan Appliances.
