The person doing the work has EXACTLY the expertise needed to repair the bathroom walls of my 60+ years old home. The only bump, and it was a small bump, was that a delay in getting an estimate. Jose willingly returned to be certain that everything was correct and accurate--which I especially appreciated. | |The walls look really, really good...and are ready for my son to paint them! Description of Work: The original appointment did not go so well: contractors showed up 2 hrs late, workmanship wasn't good, and they didn't clean up after themselves. What impressed me most was that Jose took my feedback seriously, apologized, took responsibility, and promised to fix it himself. It took several weeks to reschedule, but when the work was done the second time, it was beautiful -- exactly what I'd hoped for and very professional. I have requested several bids on future jobs, and if the price is reasonable, I'd be happy to hire him again. Nice work!

Description of Work: They replaced the floor in 2 bathrooms, the laundry room and kitchen. They also repaired the ceiling in the master bathroom, as well as rotten spots on outdoor columns. | |I thought they did a great job. They did everything they said they were going to do and came back the next day to tweak things that needed adjusting.

Description of Work: They replaced some rotten trim on my house. They forgot to paint a section of the wood. They also did not show up the day I had originally scheduled them for. They also pressure washed my house. All in all, they were OK.

Description of Work: I had several areas of drywall that needed touch up/repairs. The work was done well and I would use them again...the one problem was getting the work scheduled. One afternoon I received a call asking where I was - the date and time were never confirmed, yet they had a worker waiting at my home. The next time it was scheduled was for a Saturday morning, which was very convenient, and that morning I received an email stating that something came up and he would not be there (very annoying to have last minute email and not a phone call). Finally the appointment was set for 8:30 on February 17th and he arrived at 9:15. One he was on site the job was done well.

Description of Work: Workers showed up nearly two hours late. The instructions must not have been communicated to them because they added 3 shelves, not 4, casing was not installed as discussed, and workers left without retrieving all of their tools or cleaning up after themselves. I still have a trail of sawdust inside my house and in my driveway. The one positive was the follow up calls I received to schedule both the estimate and the actual work. But language was a barrier -- if the person providing the estimate won't be doing the work, his instructions need to be extremely thorough to the workers. One of the shelves is obviously crooked also -- workers were just trying to hurry as fast as they could to finish since it was so late (and we had plans to leave our house at 6). Very disappointed.
