Very friendly technician and fair pricing. Was quoted by a bigger company (outside of home advisor) for double what Pope did it for. Will be calling Pope for any electrical needs going forward.

I awoke at 5:30am to the smell of electrical smoke. I was matched with Jason H Pope Electrical Contractors by Home Advisor, and my was uphill from that point. I was contacted by the company shortly after they opened for business. The gentleman confirmed I was still in need of an electrician, took my contact info and obtained a brief summary of my issue. The person was very upfront regarding the pricing and the time of the scheduled appointment. To my delight Fred Carmichael (the electrician) came two hours earlier than planned, and he was great!!! Fred chased the line and found the root cause, made sure everything was working appropriately, and I was quoted a fair price for quality work. I would recommend this company. And I intend to refer the company to others, while using them for any of my electrical needs.

Excellent job by Brady and Fred...on time...expert knowledge...quickly evaluated the problem and fixed it...response to a serious situation. It is always great to have a *go-to* company for problems that come up in maintaining a home. We did not have an electrician for help when needed...but we do now!

I was elated that Fred could work me in to replace a beeping smoke detector that had been going for about 14 hours. He was so pleasant and helpful on a busy day for him. I also learned about needing to place a carbon monoxide detector downstairs instead of up. I will call them again when needed.

Fred was terrific! He was very professional, yet personable. I recently bought a house for my daughter and grandson to move into. We needed an outlet for a speed charger for an electric car and I didn't really know what was needed. He very patiently worked with me to understand what I needed and make sure we got the correct outlet and wiring installed. I was also concerned about security and Fred walked around the outside of the house with me to talk about selection of and installation of various types of security cameras and lights, showing a genuine concern for making sure I was comfortable with where and how everything should be placed to provide exactly what I was looking for. He showed up right on time on the scheduled day and did a wonderful job. Everything works perfectly. He will absolutely be the first person I call for any future projects.

Our project did not turn out to be as straight forward as we had expected. Initially, I didn't think we would be able to do the project as we had hoped. Our technician, Brady, discovered the issues immediately and took the time to identify and rule out all possible solutions to determine what would be most time and cost efficient. Actually, I was quite impressed with his problem solving skills. He left the work area spotless. Ironically, he cleaned up too well, accidentally removing a final accessory with the trash instead of installing it. When I realized and left a message, he returned my call promptly, and came back the next day with the accessory and installed it, no complaints and no extra charge.

Talked with Jason told him my fluorescent light was not working, I had checked breakers, and guessed it was the ballast. Jason said he could convert light to LCD lights, and would cost $180.00. I had the bulbs, and had already taken off the cover to the wires, and ballast. I get an email saying I need to be home between 12-4pm? I get a call from a guy who says he will be at my house at 2pm. just before 2pm I get an email saying the guys on the way. he shows up at 3pm, Spends 15 minutes changing out ballast. So 15 minutes labor, and a ballast, which cost about $10 dollars cost me $185.00. I give plenty of good reviews, but would never use him again, nor would I recommend him. It's not the money it's the principle of matter.

Fred was wonderful! Will hire them again when we get to our next project requiring electrical work.

I had other electricians cancel appointments, not show up, show up and give $300 estimates, say they had to cut a hole in the home, etc. Brady showed up, was very professional, diagnosed the issue immediately, and for half the cost of others, completed the job in a timely manner. Very professional and courteous. They are now my go-to electricians.

Such great service! Brady and Jonathan installed a lantern light/pole in my front yard and took such care during the installation. I highly recommend this company.

Brady came out to my house to change the location of my dining room chandelier, and to install a new light fixture. I was worried it would take a long time and would involve a lot of work to put in new lines, but Brady was able to use the existing wires to move it to the new location! I was very impressed with his knowledge and his work looked so great once finished. He helped me figure out what length to put the chandelier at because I was going back and forth between two lengths. I would love to hire Brady again to come back to my house for electrical work.
