Vendor stated that pricing was not properly disclosed by Angie's List. Gave us an estimate that we didn't think was acceptable, and it took weeks to get even that. Maybe he's right regarding the issues between I-Rok and Angie's List, but frankly, that's not the customer's problem.

It turned out really well. We ended up hiring him for another larger job for us. They came out shortly after we made contact with them. The scheduling was very easy. They just seemed like real experts in this particular area. They did the work very well. The quality was very good.

He responded quickly to my call and came over when he said he would. He did a great job. He was efficient, and he took care of everything I needed.

I asked for service for 10/3 or 4 or 5. When he called he said neither were good for him. He said he was out of town and driving back as we spoke and would call me when he got back which was this Wed. 10/29. I have not heard from him since. I decided I did not want to work with this company given that he did not have time to return a call for four days after speaking to me.

He missed the original scheduled estimate but did finally come out. Then he missed the original date for him to come to do the work. He was also very intimidating and did not feel comfortable going forward with the work. I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

Contacted Rich and had a competitive estimate within one day. Due to problems with the builder Rich was not able to start on time. He worked with the builder and other traits every day to get my job done. I am a retired construction worker with a keen eye for detail. I know what I am looking at. I know it good job when I see one. Richie's work is impeccable. I will repeat that this man's work is impeccable. I would hire him anytime and recommend him to anybody. Thank you Richie by the way, this man the owner operator of Staten Island fence does the installation himself. Richie has a helper but when the finished product is being installed he does the job. Excellent! !!!!!

Paul was responsive to my request for a quote. A tree fell on our fence during a storm, a small section of fencing was damaged, as well as a couple of the poles and the top bar. I hired him and he did not show up or call me on the first scheduled date. I called him, he rescheduled, and he did show up the second time. I had a roll of new chain link fencing material which I had showed Paul when he estimated the job. He said it was more than enough to do the small repair so he just had to supply the poles and top bar. His estimate included trash removal of the broken fencing. His fence repair seems fine and I appreciate the fact that he would take a small job. However, he left the broken fencing behind, telling me that he did not have room in his truck that day due to another job he was going to. He assured me he would be back the next day to pick up the trash. He did have room on his truck to remove the roll of new chain link fencing material that I had told him he could use to fix our fence. I noticed his helper load that material in to their truck. I believe I may have mentioned to Paul when I first met with him that I had no use for the new fencing, so I didn't say anything to him about the fact that I saw him take it. My concern is with the fact that he opted to take this instead of our trash. He also looked surprised when I came out of the house and he told me that he thought I wasn't home. He did not make any mention of the new fencing material and the fact that he had loaded it on his truck. I trusted him to complete the job and paid him that day so he wouldn't have to schedule a time when I was home to remove the trash and get paid. He did not return to pick up the trash. I have repeatedly called him and emailed him. Each time I communicate with him, he assures me he hasn't forgotten me and will be back to remove the trash. It is now June. I believe two and one half months was ample time for him to find 5 minutes to clean up the trash per our agreement. I guess it is partially my fault. I keep trusting people whom I hire to actually do what they agree to and I am quick to pay these workers, even if there is just one little thing left to do. Paul is not the first person to disappear after being paid but I keep holding onto the belief that most people are honorable. When I am proven correct, it reminds me that this is true, most people are honest and there are just a few people I encounter who take the money and run. If Paul decides to pick up this trash, he can be among the people who restores my faith in our fellow beings and helps me to trust the next person I hire.

They were great. They did a good job. They were polite. The are kind of busy, so scheduling is a bit of a hassle. I used them once and then I ended up using them the second time.

Paul did a very good job. Communication was good to arrange a time to make an estimate. He gave me a written estimate for the work to be done. He repaired a section of chain link fence that had been damaged by a fallen tree. He and his helper also repaired a broken double-door gate on a section of 6' foot wooden fencing. They were very diligent in making sure the gate doors were repaired correctly. They also adjusted another gate door at no additional cost. I-Rok did a very good job and I highly recommend them.

I'd recommend getting a quote from these guys. They were quick to respond and to come out to give us a quote-- we called a few companies and one never even called us back, so the responsiveness is a nice change. we ended up going with a different company for our install, but we really liked these guys too & it really came down to a coin flip.

My experience with I-Rok Fence Co was okay. I called him, and he said he would call the next day, but he didn't call back, and he didn't come out to my house. I never heard from him after that.

First of all, I will recommend Paul and Co/I-ROK to anyone that needs a fence and will absolutely request his help when I finish fencing in the rest of my yard. I live on heavily wooded acre lot which I am fencing in two parts. Paul was exceptionally prompt when responding to my calls, his initial visit and actually installing the fence. He was done in just a couple of days and I couldn't be more happy! Thank you I-Rok!!!

Paul is awesome! He worked hard to get the job done on time and did a very good job. Highly recommend!

This project went very well. The owner (Paul) had to attend to some family issues while the job was being done. The workers (not the owner) mostly showed up on days that they said they would, but they must have also been working on other projects or something, as they would show up in the afternoon on days when they said they would come. Once the owner was back the project seemed to pick up speed again. Everyone did a great job as far as quality, and I'm very happy with the way the fence turned out. It is very sturdy, and it looks great, all for a good price. I would hire this company again.
