On the day of installation (8/27/21), the workers showed up to our house with two windows that were not what we ordered. They had already removed one of the old windows when my husband discovered their mistake. After speaking with the owner, we accepted the windows in order to keep our project moving forward (we had already waited six months for the windows to be installed after ordering them). SIX MONTHS and FOUR sets of screens after that (2/24/22), we are now done with HomeCraft Windows. It's interesting to note that all the reviews left on their company website are glowing '5-star' reviews, FROM FOUR YEARS AGO! They won't post negative reviews on their website -- I should know, I've sent two.

I tried to get a quote to replace one window. As we were scheduling the appointment for an in-home quote, the salesperson asked if I was married, then insisted on my husband being home for the quote. I explained that my husband was unavailable, and that I handled all home renovations and repairs. They insisted that “both decision-makers be present” while I explained that I was the decision-maker on this project. They refused to come to my house to give me a quote when I explained that my husband would not join us. They told me their policy may sound dated, but they would not budge on that requirement. Yes, that is indeed a dated policy and I will not be doing business with a company that refuses to work with me without my husband present.

HomeCraft Windows was one of the companies I got an estimate from. Their first price was more than twice the price of the company I ended up choosing. They switched to a lower priced option and that price was still 40% more than the other window company. After 2 hours and multiple conversations between the representative and his supervisor over the phone, the price came down to a reasonable number. But after all the hassle, I did not want to deal with this company any more.
