The installers were late for appointments, missed appointments, and attempted to smoke marijuana in my house. They assumed that because I am young that "I was cool with it". The owner, Chad Hensley is completely immature and unprofessional. 3 months and $4,700 later the system stopped working. I contacted Chad and his main concern was "you're not turning this around me", not attempting to explain or help the customer. He proceeded to make personal insults after tactful e-mails sent by myself. He cursed at me, yelled, made insults, etc. I am not an HVAC expert. Most people are not. Chad uses this to try and make you feel inferior and even called me "an idiot". Based on his installers obvious drug use, I wanted to know if everything was wired correctly. Chad drives to my house on a motorcycle with no tools to "tell" me that I am wrong, not explain, "tell". He even had to borrow my tools to do what he needed. I sincerely regret not asking them to leave after inquiring if drug use on the job "was cool" and calling the police. I sincerely regret giving $4,700 to Chad Hensley. Oh, the original quote was $4,900. I convinced him to give me a discount because they completely missed an appointment one day. After telling him that I would no longer be purchasing for his company because it was a bad experience, he tells me that I owe him $129 for aforementioned visit (motorcycle, no tools). If I did not pay him, he would not honor my warranty or charge the freon all the way (he was unable to give a full charge when installed). He also attempted to "scare" me into payment saying he digitally records his customers conversations without consent, and that he had recording of me agreeing to this charge after I disputed it with him. No attempt to collect this fee was made until he learned that I would no longer be giving him my business. Chad Hensley attempts to be a bully. But his immaturity deflates his attempts. When I showed the realtor that recommended him to me the e-mails of him cursing and insulting me, they refused to recommend him ever again because nobody wants their name associated with that type of behavior. Chad Hensley is immature, unprofessional, and unethical. I highly recommend not wasting you time with Hensley's Heating & Air.

How do you respond to false accusations like this? After putting in this persons system back in November 2014, my installer was stuck on another job waiting for a builder to show up in which he was late getting to this install and it turned out to be very cold that night so I gave him a discount off the job. 6 months later I get an email asking why he didn't get his energy credit and his fan was coming on then going off and he thought he had a geothermal system. I explained to him, no you don't get the energy credit on 13seer equipment and why he thought he had a geo thermal heat pump and send me pics of the thermostats he had cause I couldn't remember what kind they were. I got the pictures 2.5 weeks later when he stated that when he turned his thermostat to cool, his heat would turn on, now granted he sent me pics of his zone board (which we did not install) and the thermostats (one of which we did install), and the zone board was calling for heat and both thermostats were in the off position. I asked him in the email several times to call me in which he didn't so I looked up his invoice and called him. Straight to voicemail. I finally got a phone call the next day from him and what he was saying made no sense what so ever. I explained to him it looked like a zone board problem and that wasn't covered under his warranty, but I did go on to say, I'll come out and check it out to see what the problem is and if it was in fact the zone board, I was gonna have to charge him for an overtime service call, and of course he agreed. I showed up cause I was out riding my motorcycle when he called me and that's what I shower up on. I had limited tools on me in my backpack but enough to diagnose anything associated with an air conditioner. Upon arrival, I was confronted by an older gentleman who started drilling me and I simply explained to him, let me check it out and I'll find what's wrong. I pulled out my phone and then started recording the conversation from that point. Both thermostats were in the off position, the outdoor unit was coming on in heat and it was 76deg and there was no blower. I began to explain that his zone board was bad and both the father and the customer began to abrade me and tell me "I'm gonna rip this s*** out and give him his money back or they were gonna ruin my business and take me to court". The father was shaking his finger in my face while the customer was continuously cussing me out to the point his father told him to shut the eff up several times. Remember I have this on digital recording. After dealing with these two, and after showing the father that the zone board did indeed fail, i don't know why or how it failed but it was definitely not from what we did on the install cause if it was it would have shown up on start up, I gave the customer a price on the zone board the next day by text for $429.00 $300 for the board and $129 for the overtime diagnostic. He then refused to pay for the service call and threatened me with a law suit, again. For the next 3 days I got bombarded with harassing emails from this guy to the point I was about to report him for spamming but then I got an email about marijuana use o his job and that was the reason according to him on why the zone board failed. I read the email and he accused my sub contractor of smoking marijuana while he was installing his unit. I find that hard to believe. I don't condone any illegal use of drugs on my jobs or in my life and if this guy so concerned about any illegal drug use on his property, why I didn't get a phone call, email, or even text about the matter, Instead after his zone board failed and I wouldn't cover a 10yr old part under warranty, I exercised my right to refuse service to anyone that I deem and this guy was abusive and there was no reasoning with him even after his father looked at the board and said I was right. Yeah I might have gotten a little immature, but when someone gets personal in their emails by saying inappropriate things like how does it feel to go home alone every night and sleep in my bed alone and how I can't bend over and touch my toes and how's living my life with morbid obesity, oh and then also how he contacted the irs and disability to make sure I wasn't lying and report me for giving false information. Yeah. This is a spoiled little brat that's use to getting his way and I'm not into giving abusive people a break on anything. This guy owes me for my diagnostic, and I simply told him I wasn't gonna cover his 1yr labor warranty after he refused to pay, then he got abusive. I've dealt with people like this before, scammers, always trying to get something for free and will stop at nothing to fabricate any story to make themselves look good and make the other guy look bad. Not in this case. There's nothing I'm willing to do for you [member name removed], you can write all the false reveiws you want, I'm letting the public know what kind of person you really are.
