Description of Work: Installed raised bed, excavated. installed garden cloth and applied gravel for a minimalist effect around the garden, moved and transplanted existing plants throughout, applied mulch and cleaned up the site.

+ -1 moreI called and Eugene called me back quickly. It's tough to get folks to look at ponds because not many people have experience with this. He came out and looked at the yard and the pond and equipment and sent me an estimate about 10 days later. Once they started the work, it was done the next day. He taught me a lot about the other plants and trees and shrubs in my new yard. They also did an excellent job cleaning up before they left.
Description of Work: Called in to remove a pond and filtering equipment and remove a tangle of honeysuckle vines as well as a pear tree and also clean up my dry creek bed. They had to remove underground pond pipes, cinderblocks, stone, etc. and also put back some shrubs removed during the honeysuckle removal. They did an excellent job. Would recommend Green Gene's in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: cleared flower bed debris/snakes/etc planted 40-50 flowers /fertilized soil removed/ 2 huge oak trees/ weed control /watered plants /instructed on how to take care of bed. later a few years later cleared flower bed of weeds delivery mulched at discount price. Gene does good work. i've used his services on two occasions and although i'm pleased when he's finished i think he is a little pricey.

+ -1 moreIf your goal is to kill the grass and grow lots of weeds, Green Gene's Horticulture is the company you want to use. If your goal is a beautiful lawn, do not use Green Gene's Horticulture. When I first hired the company, I had decent grass coverage and some weeds. After nearly a year's worth of treatments I had large areas where the grass had been killed entirely, leaving nothing but dirt and weeds. I have many more weeds than when I began the service. My lawn is an embarrassment and the comment I frequently hear from visitors is, ''What happened to your grass?''
Description of Work: Payment was for a years worth of monthly lawn treatments: seeding, weed-killing and fertilizing.
