I think they did an outstanding job. Both pieces are beautifully finished.

Finish Pros came to the house and gave me an estimate for reupholstering a club chair and a low arm slipper style chair. They picked up the chairs and returned them within the specified time and returned the extra fabric. They were friendly, professional and responsive to my questions. I would definitely use them again.

I took one end table to Finish Pros to be repaired and Dan suggested I consider having it refinished as it was an excellent piece of furniture. I have owned the tables for over 40 years and have always loved them, so although it was expensive, my husband and I considered it was worth it to have both tables refinished. They turned out beautiful. I'm sure they are good for another 40 years. I would definitely recommend Finish Pros if you need furniture repair or refinishing. They were great to work with.

Ben from Finish Pros came to my home to look at my furniture and provide a quote for refinishing. My furniture is constructed w/ a natural maple veneer, so I wasn't sure it could be refinished. Ben inspired confidence when he said they've done a lot of work w/ Danish furniture as well as veneers, and he provided guidance on what stains would work best w/ the wood. The work took 6 weeks, which was about a week longer than quoted. Finish Pros sanded all the fine scratches out of the tabletop, so it looks brand new, and the new color is beautiful. They did an amazing job, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

He found the fabric and replaced the cushions in some antique chairs. He repaired and redid the top of an antique table. I have used Dan and his company for 10 years for all kinds of things, including antique repairs and various re-upholstering. He is professional, prompt and exacting. I would not call anyone else for any of the work his company does.

They were helpful, courteous, professional, prompt, and caring. They knew these pieces had sentimental value to me and treated them as such. They removed the old fabric and horse hair stuffing, tightened the frame and seat support, restuffed the chair, made a new cushion and touched up the woodwork. I had the option of refinishing the wood but went with Dan 's recommendation to just touch it up (a cheaper option). It turned out beautifully. The letter box was glued and the finish touched up instead of refinishing also on Dan's recommendation. It now looks better than I ever remember it looking. They were both picked up and delivered on time. I could not be happier.

I knew that re-upholstery was going to be expensive - I certainly could have bought new pieces for less money. However, I have had these items for 25 years - they are good, solid, well-made items. I could not have replaced them with the same quality materials for anywhere near the amount it took to re-upholster them. Finish Pros came to the house with fabric samples and then picked up and delivered the items. I am very happy with the completed items and will call them in another ten years when they need to re-upholstered again. I definitely recommend them for anyone that is looking for re-upholstery.

Finish Pros did an excellent job of turning my old orange/yellow oak kitchen cabinets into the black kitchen cabinets of my dreams. If I saw a picture of my new kitchen in a magazine I would start to drool. It would not be possible for the quality of the black lacquer finish on the cabinets to be any better. The entire process took 5 days. Step 1: All of my cabinet doors and drawers were removed and taken back to the shop for refinishing. Step 2: Oak crown molding, oak base molding and oak end panels were installed. Step 3:All surfaces in my kitchen were covered except for the exterior surfaces of all cabinets. All entries to the kitchen were sealed off with plastic, and my entire kitchen was turned into a spray booth. Step 4: Exterior surfaces of cabinets were sprayed with primer. Step 5:Exterior surfaces of cabinets were sprayed with 2 coats of black lacquer. Step 6: Exterior surfaces of cabinets were sprayed with clear top coat. Step 7:Refinished doors and drawers were replaced. I highly recommend Finish Pros to anyone looking to have their existing kitchen cabinets refinished.

They came and picked up the piece and then delivered it back to my house once complete. The piece was restored in beautiful condition and they did an awesome job!

Everything went really well. It was very easy setting up the service, they did a great job, and they had the chairs completed on schedule.

I called on a Thursday and was able to get an appointment for an estimate the following Monday morning. Ben was on time, pleasant, and professional, and brought lots of fabric samples for me to choose from. I accepted the estimate, and the office called me later that same day to set an appointment for pick-up, which happened within the week. They estimated 3 to 4 weeks for completion, but were done in 2, and delivered just before Christmas. I could not be more pleased with the work. The chairs look really beautiful, and I have gotten compliments from everyone who has seen them. I will definitely use Finish Pros again!

The workmanship was beautiful. They quickly came out to my home after I called them and described what I needed. They brought a huge number of fabric samples and helped me select exactly what I wanted. The work was completed quickly and I was very pleased. I had a question about the fit of the cushion on the Queen Ann chair and they followed up again quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I had several estimates that were a bit lower in price, but I'm sure I would not have been as happy with the end result.

I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to refinish my kitchen island. On the day of the appointment, I received a call saying they would not be able to help me because of the distance. I can't understand why 45-55 minutes is considered too far to travel for a sizable job. I also think it unprofessional to schedule an appointment without first considering the distance if this is a factor.

We were so fortunate to meet Ben Weidner at the Raleigh Home Show this year! Not only is he the world's nicest guy, he was incredibly resourceful and helped us with our kitchen and master bath update by providing his expertise in the refinishing industry as well as names and resources to complete the job. He has the philosophy of "whatever it takes" and delivered on that by making an extra trip to our home to confirm a stain color choice before production. Ben's team couldn't be more professional and polite. They arrived on time, advised us of things in advance that we might find as an inconvenience, and worked quickly to complete both jobs in a matter of days. We had debated the issue of refacing cabinets, replacing the doors and lots of other options. I couldn't be happier with the refinishing results. In fact, friends tell us that the refinished product looks far better than the original...and we totally agree. The cabinets now have a furniture quality finish and they are beautiful. Ben was also able to recommend a carpenter for a build out area and then Finish Pros altered their schedule to accommodate his needs and refinish the wood to match our kitchen cabinets.....just in time. I have additional projects that I plan to give them in 2015. I look forward to working with them again.

We inherited two wood Art Deco Waterfall dressers and a three drawer wood filing cabinet. Some of the veneer was damage on the top and sides of all three of them. Some of the veneer was missing. Finish Pros fixed the veneer such that it is hard to tell that it has been fixed. They refinished all three pieces. They came to our house and gave us an estimate. After we agreed to have the work done, two workers came and picked up the pieces. After the work was done they delivered the items and put them in an upstairs bedroom. The total cost was $1,755.00.

They refinished two end tables. The tables were a dark mahogany with inlaid tops. I had spilled something on one which ate through the beautiful glossy finish. It was explained to us that they would not be able to achieve that same glossy finish, but that the area of the spill would not be obvious. I had both tables done to match. It is a non glossy finish, however there is at least one area in the right light that still shines for whatever reason. We had noticed other shiny spots when we first received the tables back and contacted Finish Pros. They picked them up from our home and took them back to the shop to fix the spots which they did. I do not like the finish on the repair as much as I liked the original.

Owner responded immediately to my call, came that same day & gave me an assessment of work. He then scheduled a day for Bob the Furniture Expert to come. Bob was punctual, pleasant to work with & was very meticulous with his work. Very pleased with work done & honored Angie's list coupon.

All went well. Communication by front desk personnel was excellent. I wanted these done within a week after drop off and they were ready when expected which is saying a lot when compared to other upholstery companies. This is the best place to go if you need something fast. Price is a little more than some but good quality.

It turned out beautiful. They did a very nice job and did it quickly. It was better than expected.

They did an exquisite job - the desk looks better than it has in decades and is now a centerpiece in my dining room. The cedar chest, which is probably close to 70 years old looks brand new and the doll bed is amazing. I immediately gave them additional business and now they are repairing and refinishing my dining room chairs and recovering the seats. I can't wait to see the results. Dan and his team take great pride in what they do and are quite knowledgeable about antiques.

In general, everything approached perfection. In detail: 1. They came to my home and gave me an estimate and also showed samples of recycled leather. Note that at no time was real leather pushed (cost of material: recycled about $1000.00; real about $4000.00). 2. My wife selected what she wanted and then, a couple of days later, called and told them that she wanted real leather. In other words, we (meaning "she,") went for the extra three grand. 3. They returned with the leather samples and, again, she selected what she wanted. 4. A couple of days later, my wife said to me, "Why is it called magenta? What if it turns out purple?" She went on like that and then called the man. (Note that I've been married for fifty years so I've sort of learned to stay out of things like that.) 5. They returned with the samples again and my wife, after keeping the samples for a few days, stuck with "magenta." 6. When the leather arrived at their shop, we were called and told that is was definitely not purple. 7. Results: The chairs and ottomans are beautiful and not purple. The workmanship was letter-perfect. Note here that when the chairs were picked up, they moved an old easy-chair from my office over the garage down to my den and, on delivery, they carried the old chair back up to my office. And they seemed happy to do it. What else can I say? I only wish that I had the same kind of results from everybody I deal with.

They did a surprised job. It was a old furniture that is older than me. We got our own material and they did a very good job. What they did was very close to what they said they will do.

If all companies handled their business like Finish Pros, there would be a lot of happy customers out there. From customer service to quality of work, they did a great job. Owner is very involved and exhibits great care and concern over job. I am looking forward to working with them in the future. This is THE upholstery place for me.

They came to my house within days of contacting them and brought fabric samples. They suggested fabrics that would wear well in a multiple cat household. I picked out a fabric and they took the chair with them the same day. Chair was returned about 4 weeks later, as promised, and it looks just like new. It was one of our favorite chairs and would have cost twice as much to replace. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and the finished chair. We will definitley use Finish Pros again and recommend them to friends.
