Express Yourself Paint

Description of Work: While we were considering estimates, we were very explicit about what we wanted painted. We were also clear that we wanted our walls fixed. We had imperfections that needed sanding prior to painting. Our estimate included this work as discussed. I also verbally went over what the painters would do on the day of painting. Express Yourself Paint came. They were professional in manner. However, once done, we noticed that our walls had pills from the paint roller (they didn’t change their paint rollers enough), and many of the issues we had hired them to fix had not been touched. Only painted over. Our walls looked horrible. EYP did return, very begrudgingly, a week later to fix the issues. While most of it was fixed, not everything was attended to. The biggest issue for us was the attitude they had. So even after paying a great deal of money for this job, looks like we will still be fixing a few things ourselves. As consumers, paying for this work, we expected professional painters; high quality workmanship; and a positive team work ethic. We give a C, because theses three things were lacking.

Description of Work: They came in to remove the popcorn from my ceilings. After the first day the lights in the foyer, dinning room, and laundry room did not work. I had to call an electrician to have that fixed. They had to come back and repair the walls were the tape removed the paint. I also had the fix a crack in the wall. They waited until the last day to fix the crack, I had to have the company come back and sand and smooth out what they had done. When it was said and done they were able to repair most of the problems that I had. But it was a real hassel to get the problems fixed. I will not be calling them for the other painting I need done.

Description of Work: We recently used EYP to have the popcorn ceilings removed and paint the entire interior of our house. We received very good value for the money we spent. It started with our Sales rep Brit, he was fantastic and very flexible as we updated the work order as the job was being done. As we saw the job they were doing we decided to have them do more! I was really impressed with the care they were taking with one exception. The really need to wear booties over their shoes if they are not going to cover the entire floor. They actually wore shoes in my house more than I have. We have hired them back for more work and this will be required. Brandon and his crew showed up to cover and prep everything. I really wish I could remember their names, I know one was Brandon's brother but I can't remember the third. Once they were wrapping up more crew members started showing up as this was a pretty big job. Jason came out and helped do what he could to maintain what he could of the dust. I was impressed with the work he did. The additional crew that showed up was also fantastic, we really like the job Seth did on our stairs. Bob was wonderful to work with as the job progressed and unfortunately I can't remember the third gentlemens name. Anyway they did everything they could to ensure we alerts satisfied. We did run into a few problems but they were committed to work until we were happy. Overall I would definitely recommend them, in fact we have already referred them to some friends. We have gotten many compliments on the job they did. We have found a painter that we will be using forever! As long as they wear the booties over their shoes. :-)

Description of Work: I purchased 8 hrs of drywall repair through Angies List. I had 4-5 areas in my home that needed repair. The repairs (service personnel was Sebastian) were flawless. Really excellent result.
