The son was very nice and professional. The job only took approximately 30 minutes and it looked great. I liked that the carpet was not saturated with water and dried within 4 hours.
Description of Work: The carpet was only 6 mo. Old, but the previous owner had 2 cats. Only 3 bedrooms and a walk in closet to shampoo. When I called he acted like he could not be bothered. I scheduled anyway. I discovered my charge card was charged for services 5 days prior to scheduled cleaning. On the day of cleaning, they were 35-40 minutes late. Because the carpet was fairly new, the job looked great. I possibly would consider using them again. Charging my card for services before the job was done was annoying to me.

You know, I didn't notice the deal I used mention that you should call and not email, so responsiveness could be partially my fault - I say partially because there should have been some common courtesy about responding to ANY email to their account. So yes, I am dinging them as far as that goes. However, the rest of the experience was pretty great. I always want to find LivingSocial and Groupon deals to assist in house maintenance and care, and this service was the last time I was planning on using a "daily deal" site for a home service because of a DISMAL experience shortly after we bought the house. However, we've had some issues with our dogs relieving themselves inside and a smell was permeating. It wasn't ALWAYS there, but enough. So I bought this deal and hoped for the best. As I mentioned, I emailed Elite Carpet Care (Raleigh) to redeem a deal I bought for three rooms and a hallway - I would have done two rooms and a hallway if it had been available - and was hoping I'd hear back ASAP. However, they didn't make ANY contact with me and I decided to call them, slightly worried that the experience would be a repeat of another vendor. Even though it was a holiday weekend (July 4th), they called me back on a Saturday and we set up an appointment for today, August 5th, at 1:30pm. There was a little detachment when I talked to whom I understand to be the owner on the phone but he was very upfront about an additional cost on a pet treatment that they ALWAYS put on carpets when a house has pets. The next month passed and then today happened. I received a call around 11:30 (I cannot remember from who, I'm sorry) this morning and was asked if I wanted to move up my appointment because they were in the area and had a slot open. I took it, and when they arrived (at the same time as my lunch) I showed the fellow who came to the door the areas I wanted cleaned and explaining why. He verified the price of the pet treatment (he said it was either 25$ or 35$, but that 25$ was fine since I had been told that was the price), and within 30 minutes, easy, they were done and one of our most stubborn stains (from a wine spill) was gone. Overall a really good experience.
Description of Work: Cleaned our living/great room, hallway, and master bedroom carpet; pet treatment on carpet (59$ for three rooms/hallway (groupon) and 25$ additional for the pet treatment)

Called to set an appointment three weeks in advance. They were booked. Sounded like I bothered him with the phone call. Called several months later and set a date. It took me longer to move the furniture off the carpet than the time spent actually doing the cleaning. In fact my wife commented the time spent was shorter than the time we spend vacuuming the carpet. They did our living room, family room, master bed, master closet, two bedrooms (with the beds and dressers in place), upstairs hallway and a set of stairs in 40 minutes. The next day, we saw a 20% improvemet in how much cleaner the carpets looked. The carpet fibers were barely fluffed up. I would pass on the business.
Description of Work: Purchased a Livingsocial coupon to do 2,000 sg feet of carpet cleaning for $65. Bought the upsell of $25 for pet stains and another $25 to do a set of stairs.

Description of Work: I got a groupon to get my carpet cleaned by them. They were AMAZING!! They were on time, professional, and organized. They even did the stairs for no extra charge (the groupon was for three rooms and a hallway, not stairs) I have two cats who often make a gross mess in the closet there the litter is, and when Elite left it was sparkling! All my carpets looked NEW when they left, I defiantly recommend them!

The shampooing and steaming work was done very well. The contact, Dallas rescheduled but was on time friendly and courteous and completed that portion of job although it took longer and the carpet much longer to dry than he stated. The problem was I had him clean a 7X9 100% wool rug which he had to take back to his shop to do. It took 6 weeks and many phone calls to get it back. When it was returned his wife made the delivery and when we unfolded it the colors in the rug had run so it is unusable. I called and talked to him about it he was extremely defensive but finally agreed due to the age of the carpet to credit me $30.00. I have still not received my credit so I've had to file a claim with the credit card company.
Description of Work: I had Elite Carpet Care by Carolina Flooring clean all the wall to wall carpeting in my home and steam clean the bathroom tiles. I had them also "dry clean" a 7x9 100% wool rug.
