They are excellent. They went above and beyond. They are responsive. I have a very difficult area to landscape but he came in here and sent extra time. He really understood what I needed. He knew what he was doing. The people who actually did the work worked together. They are a fabulous team and they just did a great job. All my neighbors came over to say how great the place looked on his design. His professionalism is topnotch.

I had originally wanted them to work on where I had mu drainage problem but they ended up doing my entire lot. It is done where he comes out, talks to you and gives you a questionnaire and then he actually comes where he has the molding in. He comes and walks out and gets an idea of what you want and then he actually blocks it out either like a four hour or an eight hour blocks a time and actually does the designs for you right then. It is an expensive landscape and not like drawing a couple of trees with a tech plans. I had large oak trees created problems which is why i was sticky to whom I went with because a lot of people don't know how to work around these very large oak trees because they will take what they want. He knew exactly what to do with the trees and so when I got the design for my property it took him four hours. I got a design that had exactly what plans would be, where they would go, where the walls would go and everything was completed in that period of time. So it was not perfected and I had a very set price that I knew to expect from his services. I thought that the price was extremely reasonable. The two of them that is the landscaping guys and Earth Graphics Of Raleigh, worked together and they had a real very excellent working relationship. I think while using the two of them together I got more bank form my box and I got an experience team which knew exactly how to interpret the other when they ask questions. When I used the two together I think I got more than what I would if I had tried to contract them out separately. They did really well. I was very satisfied. My neighbor can't get over how my property looks.

I was familiar with Jeff Evans and Earth Graphics after seeing him several times at local home shows (Southern Ideal Home Show, etc) and reviewing some of his prior work. I contacted Jeff to discuss what I was looking for, and he sent me several references and some other information about his work history. After checking out the references, I agreed to move forward with the work. The service began around 8:30 am with Jeff showing up to walk the property with me and validate the items that we had discussed prior to the meeting (via email and questionnaire). After we both felt like we were in synch, Jeff continued to his van where he actually does the drawing and majority of the work right on your site. He made detailed measurements of my property, my home, outbuildings, etc. I worked from home the day Jeff was on site just in case he had other questions through the day, but in reality, I think that I could have spent the first hour or so with him and then left and ended up with the same results. I was impressed with Jeff's ideas, and his knowledge of the domain. I knew that he would be good based on the glowing feedback from his references, but I was really happy with the final outcome. Jeff spent the whole day on the initial design, then he left and made a final drawing for me which we went over about a week later on a subsequent visit. My property was probably more complex than many, and truthfully, I asked for a lot, so I suspect that in most cases Jeff would spend no more than a single day on site which would keep the price down somewhat. The only thing that I had concerns about was that the final product was a hand drawn product as opposed to a product that was labeled using electronic means. The quality is the same, but some of the labels, plant names, and notations are not as easily readable and understandable as I would like. When I brought this up to Jeff, he pointed out that a plan with the complexity of my plan is primarily drawn for the benefit of a professional installer, not a homeowner. So, clearly any professional landscape installer would have a much easier time understanding the details, notations, labels, etc. This actually makes a lot of sense to me and I suspect it is the same concept that would be present if I were to take an architectural drawing for a new home and try ti decipher all the details. I'm not the expert here, so I suppose I shouldn't be worried if every little note on the plan doesn't make 100% sense to me. When Jeff delivered the plan, he DID go over every plant that he had suggested and every detail. Further, he suggested that I have the plan scanned (which I ended up doing at Kinko's) and he offered to provide ongoing feedback as needed on the contents. I have since followed up with him on one occasion and he was great about getting the answers back to me to clarify my questions. I have begun doing the install now, and I have thus far been very happy with the plan, and how things are coming together. I will continue to work with Jeff as needed moving forward and I am looking forward to things coming together over the next year or so as I put the plan into place.
