During the building process it was one mistake after. After I closed on home I found the builder in my house fixing it because it had failed inspections AFTER I CLOSED! After they left they left nails, broken glass everywhere. Within 18 months of owning house issues have included leaking basement that took 18 months for them to fix. 3 windows were broken when we moved in and it took them 6 months to agree to fix them. Master Bathroom shower leaked through to office and ceiling fell in and Drees won't return our calls. Master Toilet leaked and covered powder room floor with water due to poor sealing after 13 months. Over $2,000 worth of speakers and alarm system was installed and it took 10 months of complaining and about 15 visits from Tri-City to fix defects. When Drees sends warrenty people out to do work the contractors tend to due a poor job and typically do damage to your home. They don't clean up after themselves and are low quality. They have no respect for your time.
Description of Work: Drees built us a home in Cary for $425,000. 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with a basement. Total house is approx. 3200 square feet. We put a contract on the house in April 2004 and the house was delivered Feb 2005 it was supposed to be delivered October 2004 so it was 5 months late! It was a frustrating process from selections through the building process. Extremely poor customer services, builders, and warrenty representatives.
