DIGITZ is your one stop microcomputer store since 1982. We sell, service, and network hardware and software, and also rent computers and peripherals. We have a 7700 sq. ft. office facility and service center near North Carolina State University. DIGITZ has achieved the distinction of being the area dealer and authorized service center for several of the largest computer manufacturers today Acer, Compaq, Epson America, Hewlett Packard, IBM, and Toshiba. We are also authorized by Microsoft and Symantec and are their educational resellers offering discounted prices for their products in the educational market around here. We design and construct Microsoft Networks for the most efficient office environments with file sharing, anti-virus protection and with different layers of security built in. The ability to market these lines of equipment is the result of sound management that has earned the confidence of these manufacturers. We can offer the following unique products and services: 1. The Benefits: One firm overseeing the complete installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. The responsibility lies with one party. 2. Customer Education and Training: We will train you on your system as it is installed. Also, we will provide full documentation of programs and operation for reference and daily operational use. 3. Personal Attention: It is our desire for every DIGITZ installation to be the beginning of a lasting relationship, certainly one worthy of reference. It is therefore our policy to pay total attention to all of your concerns, questions, and needs. 4. Service Center: We are an authorized warranty and out of warranty service center for all the products we sell. We offer on-site and/or in-house maintenance contracts to ensure smooth, trouble-free operation of your computer system.

Dropped off computer in morning, had diagnosis and proposed fix in afternoon. Took a couple of days to get replacement power supply, odd, but installed, tested, and ready for pickup as promised. Pleasant, professional people to deal with.

Description of Work: Computer failed to turn on, so I took it in for diagnosis/repair. They tried it numerous times but it always turned on for them. Brought it home; with one or two hiccups it has started reliably since. Don't know why but keeping fingers crossed. Service quick, responsive, professional. Included a 30-day "warranty" period -- if problem recurred I could bring it back for additional testing & diagnosis at no extra cost.

They are fantastic! They are about 25 miles away. They are very helpful and professional. We will use them again if we have any computer/printer issues.
Description of Work: Our computer printer was acting up. They took the printer apart and put in a new printer head. It started acting up a couple weeks later. They said they would order a new printer head because the one they replaced it with had ben on the shelf for a while. It helped, but the quality deteriorated a few weeks later. They took it back and checked it out again for us and found out that the mother board was the issue. So we opted to purchase a new printer.

Dropped laptop off on Tuesday afternoon and explained problem to the associate. She indicated that she would call when laptop was repaired. In less than 24 hours, I received call that computer was repaired. Picked up computer on Wednesday afternoon. Associate was very pleasant and would highly recommend Digitz to anyone in need of computer repairs.

They were entirely satisfactory will their work. I dropped my computer off at 5 pm and they called the next morning to say it was ready. They were nice and informative.
Description of Work: Had dropped something on the keyboard and one of the keys broke so they replaced it under warranty.

The Digitz staff were courteous and knowledgeable and the cost was reasonable.
Description of Work: My company computer had a terrible virus and neither I nor several colleagues and friends could figure out how to get rid of it. Digitz fixed the problem and cost much less than my continuing to mess with it.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH MY LAPTOP. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY AND THE COMPUTER HAS WORKED GREAT EVER SINCE I TOOK IT IN. IT REALLY DIDN'T TAKE THEM THAT LONG TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND GET IT FIXED.
Description of Work: THEY FIXED A FAULT IN THE MOTHERBOARD ON MY COMPUTER. IT KEPT DRAINING POWER EVEN WHEN IT WAS PLUGGED IN AND OR HAD A NEW BATTERY.
