DC ELECTRIC OF RALEIGH

The process went very well. The owner and the crew were top-notch professional and of good quality! I had recessed lighting put up in 2 rooms (kitchen and bonus room) + city inspection. I unfortunately had to scramble for an electrician as the one I was referred to and was going to go with initially sadly had a medical emergency. I then met with 4 licensed electricians (and others via phone) before making the decision with D.C. Electric and would use them over and over again. Since I'd met with about 5 total and talked to some over the phone - the price was indeed competitive. Though, I still think (on a side-note) that the costs for contracting work in Raleigh is steadily increasing! So, it was more than I expected initially but it was competitive across some top referred electricians.

David of DC Electric did a great job estimating and personally coordinating this work. He took care of handling the electrical inspection and even convinced the power company to reconnect before the final inspection was done, this saved hours of time without power. The work was neat, clean and professional, the workers were courteous and knowledgeable. DC Electric did a great job for me and I'd certainly use their services again, as well as, recommend them to anyone. I must say that AngiesList didn't work well for me on this project. I got bids from three of the top rated electricians and each had a wildly different approach and price. After reading the detailed reviews of these electricians I realized that most where "switch and fixture" jockeys with little experience doing the kind of electrical construction work that I needed. I found DC Electric without the use of AL. I have huge doubts about how the higher rated AL electricians could have ever successfully completed this work done for the prices they quoted.

They did wonderful work and the technician that came out to give the estimate was fantastic. The employees that came did quality work and I thought the price was very reasonable. They were professional and courteous and kept us in the loop throughout the whole project. If there was a problem or any changes they let us know about all of our options.

They were great, they are around the corner so it’s convenient. They are very professional, clean, quick, and very nice.

The service cost me less than $500. I have used them before. I will use them again in the future.

Referral was by the lighting fixture company. I emailed David Menhennitt for an appointment, I received a response back within 24 hrs with an estimate for work and an appointment set for 4 days later at 8:00 am. Charles showed up promptly at 8:00 am. He completed the work within 30 minutes. He was pleasant, courteous, professional and helpful. He told me I would receive an invoice so no payment was due at that moment. That evening, I had an electronic invoice emailed to me. Efficient and effortless!

I found them extremely professional, neat and clean. They all worked diligently and were spread out on ladders around my house and did a great job. I think that there were so many because there were some trainees. The one in charge was called David Minhennitt.
