CORNERSTONE PROPERTIES

Don Moody and Cornerstone Properties recently did a pre-sale home analysis for us and guided us through the changes that should be made before selling our house. In our case, the house we live in was built 25 years ago when Don sold our last home. Parts of the house have been renovated since then, but other parts are the original construction and need to be updated. Like everyone, we want the highest price we can get for our home, and Don knows what it takes to get that price. He also has the right demeanor for a real-estate professional. His ideas for staging for sale were great. Don suggested some minor construction to help open up the house and make it shine. He instinctively knew that our old brass lighting should be replaced with the fixtures people are using today, and he suggested other hardware changes that he thinks will blend better with our hardwood floors. He suggested we remove the curtains to open up rooms and even made suggestions about lighting and what furniture should remain during the listing. He suggested we remove the big mirrors and the awkward light fixtures in the old bathrooms and replace them with something that makes the house look current. In short, I can't think of anybody in Raleigh better suited to guide a homeowner or homebuyer through the process of a real-estate transaction. Obviously, I would highly recommend him.
