I hired Cecil Davis Plumbing in 2010 to move my dishwasher and the plumbing that he did does not meet code, The lines were buried in a place that should they leak if we wouldn't have known about it could cause a huge damage. I purchased a new dishwasher from Lowes and when the guy came to install it, they couldn't do it cause the plumbing is messed up.

Excellent! and Quick. And not messy. Lower element replaced. Element provided by manufacturer under warranty.

Quickly found the problems, very professional, will hire again.

This A rating isn't just another "everybody gets a trophy" review. This company is a 2nd or 3rd generation local company. They don't spend their money on handsome-looking trucks and vans, they just show up and do the work efficiently and soundly. I have used them several times for small and large jobs on my aching, 50 year-old house. The cost of service indicated below included high-end garbage disposal with awkward installation, and a new four-foot section of sewer line replaced in the cramped crawl-space of my house. It also included some advice on how to fix some minor plumbing problems around the house that I can do myself. There is never any question who I will call for plumbing needs.

It went very well. They do excellent work and are always very professional. They are also reasonably priced. I had a little trouble getting the job scheduled. I had a hard time getting someone to price the job and get back with me. They need to improve their responsiveness and scheduling process. Overall, I am very pleased and will continue to use them.

My technician Harry was right on time and very nice. He took extra time to find the problem and then fixed it. Would use this company again.

I called Cecil Davis Plumbing in the morning and was told that I would receive a call after 1pm with an arrival time. The service provider called at 1:40 and said he would be to the house shortly. When he arrived, he saw that the outside water would not turn off and explained that I needed a new hose bibb. He explained why he was unable to install it flush against the house and asked if he could cut a piece of trim for it to fit. They honored the 10% off labor coupon on their website.

It went well. My plumber was on time, polite, worked quickly, was respectful, didn't take any cell phone calls, did a good job and was a swell plumber. They did it for just a tad under of what was quoted. I had a general grasp of what I needed to be done and the quote was provided $/hr and they finished the job on the low end of the estimated time. I think it was something quoted like the job could take 2.5-4 hours and it took him 2.75 hours, or something along those lines.

We have used him many times. It went okay. They did have to come back twice. They were very prompt. I really liked that they were really prompt.

He was very professional. He was diligent. He worked quickly and fast to get thru the problem. He resolved the problem correctly and I haven't had any issues since then.

He also found a major leak inside that had been leaking for years. He was helpful in giving me advice to involve my insurance.

He was great! Harry came out and was very skilled and solved the problem. I’ve used him since and I’ll do so again! I had been using Clorox tabs, and he helped me see that I needed to stop doing that.

Our water heater burst in the early hours of Saturday morning. I contacted Cecil Davis who, at the time, had no plumbers available, but recommended two other plumbers. After checking with others, I had the choice of replacing the water heater with a unit from a home improvement store or wait until Monday when another unit could be purchased from the plumbing warehouse. I decided it best to wait since I wanted to upgrade our 40-gallon electric lowboy to an electric 50-gallon. The two plumbers came first thing Monday. The old unit was placed in the worst possible location in our crawlspace and was difficult to remove, but they managed to pull it out and set up the new unit. The old unit's plumbing was not up to code, lacking a shut-off and a relief valve which they also installed with the new unit. Their drill broke when installing the relief valve, which made the install take longer, but they still completed the installation in a decent amount of time. It works well and is a far better installation than the previous unit.

Harry was outstanding in his technical knowledge and the speed in which he worked. As a Property Manager I will certainly use Cecil Davis Plumbing again.

The crew consisted of a lead and a helper. Both worked continuously and got the job completed in approximately 1.5 days. I selected this company for it was A Rated on Angie's List and among those that were A Listed and quoted the job, I was impressed with the individual that came to the house to develop the quote for he spent adequate time to answer all my questions. After the job was completed I thought of one other question and sent an e-mail. I got a call from the Lead early the next morning to answer my question. The lady in the office was excellent in keeping me aware of the schedule for the work and even wanted to be sure that the dates were convenient for me. Even though there price was very competitive, I do not select a contractor on price only. I place a lot of emphasis on how they develop their quote and how thoroughly they answer my questions. I highly recommend this company.

Service was very prompt, complete, and professional. No negatives. Would definitely hire again.

He did good work and we have not had any problems since.

-The ice/snow bad weather delay was the worse part. Once the servicemen could get here repairs were fast & excellent with a very reasonable service charge.

This is the fourth time I've used CDP, every time I've been very happy with the work they've done. Harry, the plumber, that has come out each time knows how plumbing works and knows how to fix any problem. This time he replaced an old toilet flange that needed to be raised up so when the new flooring in the bathroom is complete the toilet can be installed. He finished the job very quickly and it's done right. I highly recommend CDP.

Was able to get the first call this morning. Harry worked quickly to get the line cleared. I went ahead and scheduled some additional work.

This is a second review but for additional service at another house, same customer. After calling for emergency service I was impressed and called them back for non-emergency work. I'm still very much impressed with this company. First, Harry, the plumber got right to work. I showed him the problem and he fixed it right away. Plus he was up to speed on current plumbing code so he was able to get everything done in one shot. I very highly recommend Cecil Davis Plumbing and will use them again.

It's a Saturday so I called and left a message with the answering service. I received a call back within 10 minutes and the plumber (Harry) arrived inside of an hour. The plumber was very friendly and professional, he didn't waste time getting to the repair. He had the new water line installed quickly and I thought the price was very good. He let me know there are Angie's List deals and coupons available through their website. I have some non-emergency plumbing I need done and will definitely call back for more work. I was very impressed.

We were Told someone would call us back within 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes someone called and said they would be there within the hour. They were there within 45 minutes. Cost for emergency fee is $265.00. Being a member of Angie list a had a coupon for 10%off labor! Plumber worked for less than 30 minutes and the toilets flushed......with no problems. Glad we had a coupon to help with the cost!
