I noticed we had a leak in the pipe leading to the hot water heater. I shut off the water, looked on Angie's list for a reputable plumber, and called Cecil's. He came out that day, and fixed the leak. He was professional and courteous. Thanks!

It went very well. Met my expectations. Their overtime rate is steep, but they fixed my problem efficiently.

They did a great job, very efficent and professional. Although it took a over a week to get to my job from the time I phoned till finsih. I was very satisfied in the end.

Estimate process went well. We were told to transfer the permit to their name and they would take care of everything. However we ended up having to schedule all the inspections. (though this is mostly due to issues with the inspections office in our town). Work went well but took longer than originally expected. THe biggest issue was that it failed inspections twice. The first time there was a leaking drainline when the inspector was present. That leak was repaired but not tested. When preparing for the second inspection, another leak was found that was caused by fixing the first leak. It was too late to cancel the inspection so it was considered a second failure/refusal. Finally passed on the third inspection.

Found Cecil Davis Plumbing on Angie's List. Called them May 19, 2011 and they were here at 8:00am on May 20th. Dug up some of the yard where the leak was indicated and sure enough...he even had to go purchase some supplies but the leak was repaired promptly and very professionally. We would definitely use them again. Thank you Angie's List!

I had this company give me an estimate to repair a sewer line that had been installed only a few years ago by another company. The representative said that he would be glad to do the work, but urged me to go back to the original company to press them about the original work that had been done. (I had already done that, but the work was long past the warranty stage). Cecil Davis plumbing gave me the estimate, which was much more reasonable than the original company, but again stressed that even though the original work was beyond warranty, and the work wasn't done right, then it should be repaired by the original company. He gave me advice on the workings of the industry, and suggested terms I could use. I went back to the original company, and used my new found advice to have the repair work done by the original company, at no cost. Cecil Davis Plumbing put aside a chance to land a rather large plumbing job earned by another company's mistake, and instead put honesty and integrity first, and saved me a large chunk of money, of which I have little to spare. I will gladly use this company again.

Cecil Davis was recommended by a friend. I saw their Angie's List rating and they seemed like a great choice. I made an appointment to get a quote on replumbing my whole house.. which is a big job and I would assume it would be a high priority for any plumber to take on a job like this. However, they told me they were very busy and I'd have to wait a week to get somebody to my house. Considering their reputation, I didn't mind the wait. On the day when the appointment was scheduled, Cecil Davis called me and told me they would not be able to make the appointment that day.. in fact, they wouldn't be able to come over until the following week. In my opinion, two weeks is far too long to wait for a quote on a project. If you're too busy, you need to hire more help. I see this as a warning sign. If they are this unprofessional and treat their customers with this little care before they even come to the house, I don't want them cutting into my walls and replacing my plumbing. I told them no thanks and I'm going to a competitor who will no doubt appreciate my business more than Cecil Davis does.

I called Cecil Davis Plumbing just after 8 am and someone was out at my house just before 9 am. Talk about prompt! It was great because I did not have to spend my day waiting for them to arrive. The plumber, Dwight, was very knowledgeable and was able to do the job in about 30 mins. He cleaned up what water dripped on the ground and answered all of my questions. I would for sure use this company again.

The plumber showed up within an hour of my call as promised. We had begun digging to expose the leaking pipe before his arrival. The plumber joined us digging and didn't mind our help and company. We found the leak fairly quickly and the repair was completed soon after. The plumber worked on the PRV while we filled in the hole where the water supply pipe was repaired. We are very happy with Cecil Davis's responsiveness and service. The plumber appeared well skilled. We did not obtain comparative estimates due to the urgency of the repair, but we feel the price was reasonable.

We had some issues with one of the drain lines underneath the house. It was not properly installed and there was a construction point in it. It didn?t have the proper flow to it, so we had some backups. They came in and replaced it. When we spoke to the person the first time he was really nice. He got the work done and there was no clean-up. Everything was taken care of. He seemed to be okay. Everything is still working fine now. They did a fine job and I didn?t have any issues with them. They were pretty competitively priced too. I had a couple of people come out and give me some estimates. Cecil Davis Plumbing was not the lowest in price, but they seemed more professional than the others. They were good and on it. They showed up when they were supposed to, and I didn?t have to wait. They were honest and they explained the situation and let us know what was going on. They gave me options and offered to only take care of what I really needed to be taken care of.

Showed up on time and gave an estimate. Very pleaseant and no problem when they did not get job.

A flapper broke on one of the toilets in a house I had just moved into. I decided to call a plumber and have all 3 toilets checked out at the same time. I called this company and they sent a man out that afternoon. All very professional and punctual. I would call again for any plumbing problems.

Cecil Davis was well rated on Angie's list and that was the reason I selected them for the minor plumbing repair. They were easy to work with and professional from the first call. My schedule is very hectic and they were willing to set a specific time to arrive at my house for the repair. Under my house, between two floor joists, I had a minor (slow drip) leak in a copper joint. The repair was completed on time and within the estimate. The plumber was very capabile and friendly. He also pointed out other items that may need repair, but did not push me to do the repairs right away. Very good experience.

He came right on time and did an excellent job. He worked promptly and I was very satisfied. I wasn't unhappy with the price.

The plumber explained exactly what caused the pipe to burst, showed us the ruptured pipe, and explained exactly what the repair would involve. The time from start to finish was just over 2 hours, partly because he did not have the length of pipe needed and had to make a trip to get one. We were extremely pleased with the work and feel the price was fair. We have used this company several times in the past and have always been pleased with the outcomes.

Cecil Davis Plumbing has been extremely responsive to my calls for repairs, every time. Prices are very reasonable, with absolutely no attempt to exploit us in an emergency.

I called early in the morning. The young lady who answered was friendly and scheduled us for noon to 2:00 pm. She called later to say Chris would be their early, which he was. He was knowledgeable and professional and had us up and running in less than an hour. Pricing was very reasonable.

It took at least a half hour, because he pulled out a yogurt container, candy wrappers and wads of tp. He was a very pleasant person and very professional.

From start to finish, these guys couldn't have been nicer. The folks at the office who made the appointment called me back promptly. The plumber was on time, explained what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it in a nice way. Definitely would call them again.

Donna who made the appointment was very helpful. The service person who did the work arrived first thing in the morning as promised, had everything he needed with him, and cleaned up after he finished. While the total price was right on the estimate, I felt is was somewhat high. We have been talking about doing this for a year, so I went ahead anyway. I'm very satisfied with the job.

I was having a plumbing issue in my home and called Cecil Davis based on the information on Angie's List. I spoke with Donna who was very helpful and responsive. She felt that I needed to have someone out that day, and because she couldn't get someone out that day, she happily referred me to another plumbing company. I wish I could have used Cecil Davis, but I'm happy that Donna was so willing to help me to resolve my problem, despite not getting my business. Very professional and helpful!
