Their name says it all (Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals). They were professionals, Brian did a fantastic job setting up the free demo and answering all of our questions. We had the estimate e-mailed to us the next day. Steve and Eric followed up with us to make sure we understood everything in the estimate and to answer any additional questions. I was on the phone with Steve for a least thirty minutes asking questions about the transformer (size, location, specs.) and he answered all my questions about the manufacturer they use. We will definitely use them again when we light up our back yard.

They were a bit pricey, but it was fantastic! Eric and his team showed exactly on time, they did an excellent job, and they cleaned up everything before leaving. Furthermore, they were just as great during the preliminary phases of the project, and they even accommodated our request to have the work completed before Super Bowl which we really appreciated.

Steve Roberts gave me an initial estimate for repair and additions to my existing lighting. His flexibility and his expertise allowed me to achieve my lighting goals. All of my lights are working, and it gives an excellent night look to our house. I will definately use Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals in the future.

Excellent, every thing from the demo to final installation. Eric's demo and placement was much better than the other demos we received. We could really tell the difference. They knocked out our whole project with a 5 guy crew in a day. Eric, Brian and Steve where all great to deal with and we are totally satisfied. These guys not only good, but they follow through with what they say and go the extra mile without asking. We highly recommend them!

What a great Company to work with. About a month ago, Brain and Eric came out to give us a budget price for a lighting design and install. We compared them to several other outdoor lighting Companies, and decided they had the best plan, were the most friendly and appeared to have the best Customer Service. They were the one Co we spoke to that offered to come by and actually show us what they could do, in other words install temporary lighting at our home, so we could actually see what we were spending $3,000 on. We asked for referrals, and drove by a number of homes where they had installed lighting. They all looked great. We researched them on Angie's List, and saw very positive comments. We then asked them to set up the temporary lighting as they had offered. Brain came by around 6:30 one evening and spent 2 hours setting up temporary lights, moving lights, adding lights, etc. Two days later, they came by and installed our lights. Our lighting looks fantastic, we can't thank Brian, Eric and Steve enough for doing such a great job!

They did a fantastic job. We love our lights and the new look it gives our home. They are great at following up, and actually care that you are happy with their work. I asked them to come back to tweak a couple of things and also add another light. They are very responsive and some of the nicest and most polite people you will ever work with. It was an absolutely marvelous experience and so nice to find a company who cares about customer service. Two of my neighbors had the lights installed, and I followed, and I believe one or two other neighbors are now planning to use them because their work is that good. I would highly recommend this team of professionals.

It went so well the first time that we moved up the progress and had them come back out. Once again we can not say enough wonderful things about these men and company!!!!! We called yesterday and told them we wanted to go ahead with the lights and they were out (today) the next afternoon. Low and behold we cannot wait for it to get dark so we can admire all their hard work! They laid new cable and installed the up lights to highlight two trees in our front yard. They are kind, competent, and professional. We would recommend them for any job, big or small! Thanks, we look forward to working with you again in the future!

We would definitely use this company again and plan on in the future as are out door landscaping progresses. They were on time, actually a little early which was great. They were extremely professional completed the work, cleaned up after themselves and we could not have asked for more professional job. All aspects of project were excellent. Within three hours of leaving a message on Angie's List on a SUNDAY asking for contact regarding my proposed project, I was phoned and had an appointment within a couple of days for an estimate. The designer and installer called promptly, and he was there right on time to set up a demonstration of how the lighting would look after discussing with my husband and myself what WE wanted. His suggestions were excellent, and we felt the design he proposed was perfect. Pricing was also very good compared to what my landscaper had suggested he could do. Install day, the crew showed up exactly on time and the work was done exactly as Eric had proposed. The finished product is beautiful! We are very pleased. Carolina Outdoor Lighting was excellent to work with from my first message to them. They did exactly what was proposed and there were no surprises. Would use them again (and am using them to add some lighting today!) for further lighting in our backyard.

I was extremely pleased with the speed and quality of service. The team is neat, organized, friendly and have a customer first attitude. They offered good suggestions - like install the Digital Timer in the crawl space. Moreover, no wiring is noticeable. They are experts at what they do. They called me the evening of installation and ask about my satisfaction with how the house looked with the lighting.. There was one slight change that needed to be made and they were there the next day to make the slight adjustment. I am pleased with the lighting as it enhances the house and allows me to feel more secure coming home at night after dark. Highly recommend the team at Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals.

Made great suggestions, lit up two trees by spots, the rest of the lights lit a flagstone path, kept with rustic theme, quick, efficient, beautiful upgrade. They suggested LED lights and will maintain same in future if we have any issues. Put all the lights (incl existing deck lighting) to a timer that is sensitive to time and darkness changes. We love that it is totally hands-off now, as this system replaced a high-maintenance, low-voltage system that we had installed.

Steve and his team did an outstanding job with our lighting. They listened carefully to our requests, communicated really well with us about scheduling, options, and installation. They came out prior to any order to demonstrate what the finished product would actually look like - not approximately like..... or imagine if we did...... - but your installation will look exactly like this. The demo in the evening when it was dark was most helpful. This is a company that takes real pride in their work and did a great job for us. Highly recommend!

Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals totally replaced the outdoor landscape lighting in the front of our house. Rather than repair the old system that was already in place we opted to replace it with LED lighting. I was not a fan of the LED light so they offered to do a night time demonstration so I could get a better idea of what it would look like. They answered all my questions and guided us in deciding which lights to use where. Following the initial service they came back out to make adjustments and even replaced a fixture that was not working. We will definitely consider using them when we get around to replacing the backyard system.

Professional. On time. Excellent layout. Detailed plan , performed as promised. Reasonable price for the job. Highly recommended.

Our front lighting system had not been working right for a long time. Carolina Outdoor Lighting came and replaced bulbs, fixed a cut line, and replaced our old timer with an Astrological Digital Timer that I like so much better than our original one. Brian & Eric came on time, explained everything, fixed the problem and we are happy with our results.

These guys are great. They came out one evening and showed us how the house would look before any work was done - we were actually able to see how the lighting would be laid out, make changes, look at a few different options for highlighting certain areas, trees, etc. They were very good about staying within my budget while suggesting alternatives for items that might have otherwise put me over - I liked that. Overall, super people to work with, came when they said, got the job done timely - these are the types of people you want to do business with. Highly recommend.

Steve arrived here and had a real mess to deal with. The lights from the house going up the front steps to our driveway weren't working. Our lighting was comprised of older regular voltage driveway lights, as well as, some newer low-voltage lights, tied in with low voltage lighting in the back yard. He dug up the majority of the front wiring for inspection of a possible short, replaced faulty wiring that was the wrong gauge for the load, replaced some spotlights that were not working, and got our step lighting working again. He was nice, very professional and we would hire him again.

The entire experience from start to finish was very positive. I can't think of a single thing that I would change.

Steve and Eric did what they said they were going to do. A wonderful job overall... the design is fabulous and the lights look great!! The neighbor's have already come up and complimented me on the house. They have really brought night time darkness into evening elegance.

Very satisfied with the overall experience. I contacted Steve and described my requirements to service my existing system and address a need for additional lighting near the driveway. Even though this was a relatively small job, he spent a considerable amount of time with me during the initial phone call discussing, in general, the best approaches to resolve the issues. After the initial call, Eric and Brian came out and we discussed my requirements in detail. They looked at my existing system, quickly diagnosed the problems, and offered several short-term and long-term options for repairing and upgrading the system. They also developed an excellent solution to my driveway lighting need. They answered my questions thoroughly and the lighting they installed is exactly what my wife and I were looking to implement. I will be looking to expand my current system in a few months and will certainly use Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals. Steve, Eric and Brian are very professional but down-to-earth and extremely pleasant. I definitely recommend them for any outdoor lighting needs.

It was a pleasure to work with Steve and Eric who are true craftsmen and professionals. We recently purchased our home and adding exterior lights was on our "nice to do" list, but not a priority. In order to map out a renovation budget that my wife and I could agree on we decided to get quotes for our "must do" and "nice to do" projects so we could make some decisions. Steve came out to do a demo in the evening and spent a considerable amount of time educating my wife and I about the light fixtures they recommended. Frankly, I thought the lights looked just okay initially and I seriously debated making this a DIY project with lights I would purchase from Home Depot or Lowes and then hire a handyman to install them. My wife, however, was sold and we decided to give them a shot for a basic install package. Steve did tell us that the lights would look 50% better after being properly installed (the demo is a temp set-up). We asked if they could install them the next day because my wife would be traveling for awhile and they obliged our request. The next morning we were out running errands and Eric and Steve arrived on time as planned and were doing some SERIOUS installation. It became quickly apparent that 1) This was no DIY project, 2) the equipment and lights were by FAR better than what we looked at HD/Lowes, and 3) these guys were professionals - Eric is an engineer and Steve knows his stuff. They worked the full day - 10am until 9pm - to get the job right and to give us a demonstration at night. Steve was being modest about how much better the lights would look after being fully installed because after seeing the finished product, I was SOLD and I'm a tough customer. We needed to stay within our budget so we didn't have the full package installed, but they gave us a thoughtful package that met our budget while leaving room for enhancements when we are ready. We will certainly call Steve and Eric back to complete Phase 2 of the project after we get through our interior renovations. These guys enjoy what they do and it shows in the quality of their work.

It went great. Eric came out for the demo which was definitely the selling point being able to see how the house would look. Steve came to perform the work on schedule and then Eric came back a few days later to make some adjustments after we pruned the trees. The house looks just great.

Excellent overall. I was really happy. Carolina Outdoor Lighting is not the cheapest company around but you will be glad you went with them. First- I couldn't decide how many lights I wanted, what type, or how to place them. COL came out to my house and actually spent more than an hour putting up sample lights and letting me see what it would look like. I made a few changes and knew exactly how I'd proceed. I was so excited after I saw what a difference this would make at my house. Secondly, I work with a very respected electrician. He does great work but doesn't do installs on large job or any job that requires trenching. He recommends COL because their wiring is done RIGHT. They don't go cheap on the wires or try to put too many lights on one transformer. They warranty their work because they set it up in a way that it won't blow out early. The results were amazing and my house is totally transformed- it's welcoming whereas before, kids wouldn't even trick or treat here because it was so dark. It was well worth the cost. The work was done in a day and a half, the timers ensure I never have to do anything, and the bulbs are the type that tend to last more than a year. It's cool how they do their timers- instead of using sensors (that get blocked and screw up) and instead of setting a timer for 8 pm to 6 am (that turns out to be less than ideal at certain times of year). They use cool astronomical times so my lights come on exactly at sundown each night, no matter when sundown is. I like that, because when they gave me my options of when the lights would come on and off, I wanted them on all night. It makes my house look great and adds safety. Couldn't be happier with this job!
