Martha was the sales representative from the company that provided our quote. She brought an extensive number of carpet and flooring samples to our home so that we could compare and make decisions. This is particularly helpful as we could see how the flooring would look in the two rooms, which you cannot do when in a showroom. Martha answered all of our questions and provided us a quote in short order by email, though we already had a very good idea of the projected cost when she left our home. The work was scheduled and completed within two weeks of the original quote. The two flooring teams showed up on time and went about their work without delay. Furniture was moved as needed and none was damaged. Very pleased with the work of the installers, as the floors look great. No complaints at all and I highly recommend the company. The pricing was fair and the scheduling process was a breeze. Most import of course, is that we are very pleased with the final product.

they had the lowest prices around! the team they sent was very professional. the boss fidel was great. for us we understand that things happen fidel was running a little late and made sure to call us way ahead of time to let us know. they also stayed late to make up for the time from the morning. they made sure they taped up everything properly. the floors came out beautifully! we noticed they forgot a transition piece i called the company and the same day fidel came out and cut and installed the piece.

They guys got here at the scheduled time and got right to work; We cleared off the furniture and they moved everything out of each room to be sure the carpet was properly installed; They were careful to move the furniture and even pointed out a small wall ding they had made. Completed the job, cleaned up and headed out after making sure we were completely satisfied. Would but from this company again.

What a great company to work with we added Red Oak flooring to our Master Bedroom. Its absolutely beautiful and they matched it to our living room flooring witch you could not tell it wasn't all put in at the same time. Reasonably priced, professional and completed the job in record breaking time. We would not hesitate to work with this company again. One of the nicest things I've seen for a company in a while is a hand written note thanking us for our business. Would highly recommend using them! Thank you for our beautiful floor!

Allowed me to inspect the carpet to make certain it was as I wanted. it was. installers tore up old carpet and mat with a minimum of dust and dirt. Carpet was still in van when I was shown the carpet before installing along with 6oz mat as ordered. Workmen were professional in appearance and fully cooperative and asked first to inspect the rooms affected by installation. They were satisfied that preparation by homeowner was done as requested with exception of furniture movement as included in price. Handled furnliture carefully and were diligent. Installers were friendly and helped where needed. Carpet was installed and inspected by homeowner (me) prior to signing off on documentation. Consultant was very helpful from the outset and helped me get thru the delays caused by weather and followed up after installation to ascertain homeowners satisfaction. Miss Martha was always available if needed.

Quality flooring and good pricing. Efficient and responded to my request to see additional flooring and carpet prior to installation in a very timely manner. Quick turn around on installation. The only issue was with the carpet installation crew. They did a poor job cleaning up after themselves, knocked my kitchen island molding moving furniture and left carpet staples everywhere in the carpet.

They did an excellent job. From moving furniture, to tearing out old carpeting to laying new hardwood flooring. All day project, well done. Looks great!

From start to finish, Carolina Flooring did a professional and quality job. Drew priced and measured our carpeting needs, discussed carpeting options, and gave us a reasonable price for upgraded carpeting. I would highly recommend using the 8lb. padding and Shaw Magic At Last III carpet, as it looks beautiful and luxurious in our home. Kelli was very responsive to any questions that I had, and Hector and the whole crew that Carolina Flooring uses are courteous, efficient and clean up when they are done. It looks fabulous and we couldn't be happier, thank you!

I called Martha to schedule an appointment. She came within a few days to measure. The carpet was installed within a week! Looks great! We did order a high grade carpet and matched what they had already installed in the rest of our house a few years ago. Martha is very responsive.

Provider was helpful in getting refund of $50. Very professional.

Carolina In Home Flooring came out to our home to show us samples of flooring. When we scheduled the appointment we were unsure what we wanted in the bedrooms and bonus room. When Drew arrived he answered all of our questions and gave us examples of the types of flooring and how they would work on the second floor of our home. We decided to go with carpeting. Drew listened to our ideas and showed us multiple examples of carpeting that fit our ideas. He did an estimate right there for us. He never pressured us to make a decision. He verbally quoted a cost and then later that day emailed us the quote. When we decided what we wanted, we contacted them to place the order and to set up a time to have the carpeting installed. From consultation to installation it was all done within a week. The installers arrived on time and got right to work. They moved the furniture, pulled up the old carpet, cleaned the installation area, installed the carpet, put the furniture back, vacuumed the carpet, and took away the old carpeting. The installers worked hard and professionally. The installers are employees of the company. A supervisor came out a coupe of hours after the installers arrived to check up on the work and progress. We would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for home flooring. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Very pleasant and stress free experience.

After looking at many reviews already posted on Angies List I called Carolina In Home Flooring to come for an estimate on replacing water damaged laminate flooring with engineered hardwood. Sales representative Drew P kept appointment and promised a written proposal. I followed up with an email over the weekend of 7/24 to 7/26 and to this date I have not received an email with the proposal. My wife and I will not give Carolina In Home Flooring another opportunity.

In-Home Consultation: First, the in-home consult was perfect. I purchased a home with only one room that had laminate wood floors. I liked the appearance of this, and desired to have the second bedroom have the same floor. However, no extra pieces of laminate were left behind by previous owner, so finding that product was impossible. The previous owners also failed to install quarter-round, and Carolina IHF&DC indicated this was something they could install for me (not all flooring companies do this; they may refer you to a wood specialist). They spent considerable time with me, reviewing samples, and educating me on different types of wood, and how we can get a close match to the existing flooring. They also provided me with details on which samples were currently "in-style" and which have been around for a while, so in the future, if I want to finish the rest of my home, it's best to go with a traditional type because the product will still be manufactured. I couldn't be happier with our selection. The quote for both the flooring and installation of quarter-round in the other bedroom was great! Installation: Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the flooring sent damaged product to Carolina IHF&DC, and they called to notify me, and we appropriately decided that it was unacceptable to install. They worked with me on installing on another date, because I definitely agree: it's better to have non-damaged product installed on a different day, than installing poor flooring on the original date. They were able to install 2 days after original install date. The crew arrived on time. They completed the project in a timely manner, and did an excellent job. The flooring is the exact product I ordered, and in perfect condition. They also cleaned up all debris and dust! I definitely recommend Carolina IHF&DC. I would use them again for any future projects.

Very responsive to initial contact and came out promptly to complete an in-home estimate that was very thorough. Price was reasonable and they were able to get the carpet ordered and came out to install it within a few weeks. The installation team arrived on time and quickly completed the work. They even offer Saturday installation service. They had me inspect the area in detail and were happy to answer questions and fix anything that needed fixing. They also cleaned up thoroughly and removed the old carpet from my home. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would use this company again for future flooring needs. I am finally rid of the pet urine odor in the area thanks to the spray treatment on the subfloor that was recommended.

The initial contact and sales visit went very well. A good array of products were presents with details about each. We selected a higher grade of oak with flat seams. It was noted that this may contain a small number of knots. The crew arrived with the scheduled window and VERY quickly ripped out the old flooring and installed the new product. We are not at all happy with the product. Several points on the floor we noticed that the seams were not flat but were offset (sticking up). On talking with the office we were informed that is is completely normal and that offsets of up to the width of a dime were acceptable. At no time in the sales pitch was this fact mentioned. It was mentioned in the sales process that some knots would show up in the wood. I pictured knots not actual HOLES in the product. We have found several actual holes in the wood flooring (e.g., KNOT HOLES). I would definitely suggest you not select Impressions Hampton series flat products unless you are fine with the flaws I have mentioned here. The crew that installed the product did a great job and fixed a couple of the worst offsets. Overall, I am happy with Carolina In Home Flooring on this project but mark the lower scores on the sales representation of this product and on the conversation with their troubleshooter where it was stressed that they have installed hundreds of floor and implied that I was being overly critical. I will be putting hardwood into the adjoining living room in the near future but will think long and hard before I used CIHF for the job.

I wanted hardwoods installed on stairs and a hallway to match existing hardwood flooring. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The estimate was provided within two days. I received helpful information on what to expect during the installation and how to care for the hardwoods prior to the installation. The installers took pride in their work and did an excellent job. The hardwoods are beautiful and I could not be more pleased.

I can't recommend Carolina In Home Flooring highly enough! Martha contacted me promptly after I submitted a request through Angie's List. She was friendly and able to set up a consultation time that worked with my schedule. Drew came out to the house to do the consultation. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to explain to me what we had in the house, what had previously been done to it, how to care for it, and after listening to what we wanted was able to give me recommendations that turned out beautifully! He also took a look at some areas around the house where the previous owner had installed bamboo flooring right before we moved in - some cuts were not straight and there were gaps near the stairs and a few walls. Drew made a note of this and explained to me how his team would try to fix that without redoing the whole floor. Then, the actual team that came to do the refinishing was amazing as well. They had detailed notes about what needed to be done and checked with us to be sure that we were all on the same page. We were there when they started to show them everything and approve a test patch of the stain. However, since we hadn't even moved in yet, we just gave them the spare key and they were able to come and go as they needed to without us having to take off of work. They were there Friday, Saturday, and Monday. We moved in on Wednesday. The refinished floors look brand new and all the little things in the bamboo flooring were fixed as well and it all looks so effortless. I will absolutely use them again when I decide to redo the kitchen floors!

As a paying customer, you shouldn't have to call and speak to a manager to find out why an entire bedroom of carpet was not completed on a 4 room installation. I was then told that someone tried to contact me several times. Nobody tried to contact me. The owner even stopped by to see why there was not enough carpet ordered to complete a bedroom and didn't even have the decency to let me know. I was downstairs all day and I found out when the installers were packing up to leave. Two days later the laminate floors were to be installed only to have a call at 5PM the evening before saying the matching quarter round was accidentally left off the order. I then speak to the owner who tells me that it is back-ordered. Each person you talk to will give you a different excuse about misordering of products (same with carpet). The owner will actually hang up on you when called out about it the inconsistencies. I decided to cancel the laminate order because the company was too much to deal with. I received a phone call a week a week later from the OWNER, John, saying he had left me a voice mail saying they would be at my home on a saturday morning to install the remainder of the carpet. He then went on to say that nobody answered the door when they arrived. Firstly, I received no voicemail. Secondly, why are you sending people out to a home for an unconfirmed appointment? Thirdly, I was home all day the day they supposedly came out and nobody knocked on my door. Very unprofessional and do not recommend.

I was initially interested in the Angie's List deal for hardwood flooring. After having Drew come out for a free estimate and discussing options, we decided to go with bamboo flooring which turned out to be cheaper than the deal plus we wanted bamboo to start with. Drew was very professional and knowledgeable about the products. He was also very quick in getting us a quote as we were in time crunch to get a lot of things done. This was much appreciated as there was several other contractors who came and measured and than never even followed up with a quote. After getting the quote on May 5th, we were able to have the work scheduled on May 15th. Again, scheduling it 10 days out was great for us as every other contractor was saying 3-4 weeks. Having the floors put in that quickly allowed us to get everything else done in a very short time frame. The installation crew did a great job and got everything put down in one day. They were very professional and easy to work with. They were even able to fit in my last minute request to install new baseboards for a very reasonable additional amount. The flooring looks great and sounds great. I would not hesitate to hire them for another job and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal from an honest company.

Initial Visit: Area rugs looked good no real issues. Carpet in the 2 small bedrooms looked good as it appeared to be 1 piece with seam in the closet. Seam was noticeable but was in the closet so not a big deal. Living room and master bedroom looked good except for noticeable seam across each room. Callback #1: Addressed seams. Trimmed one with scissors. Cut a triangle out of the other and replaced with small piece of carpet. Noticeable hump in carpet at seam but was told it would go away. Callback #2: Owner came and said seams are normal but would have crew return to trim. Assured us seam would not open up. Callback #3: Crew returned without appointment but we were able to re-work our schedule. Additional trimming in master BR looked better. Re-stretched carpet in living room to remove hump and additional trimming. Looked better, hump less noticeable. Summary: As this was our first new carpet in 21 years we had high expectations (maybe too high in regard to seams) If visible seams are the norm for any lay of new carpet then we would have rated this provider higher than a B. Unsure as to whether we would use this provider or not ('maybe' option not available above).

I wanted the plain long boards. They were not able to get the correct product for me. I spoke with the manager and they were able to issue me a refund promptly.

Professional installers. On time in the morning and finished in 3 hrs. Very clean thorough job.

Everything went fine and I may end up using them.
