Excellent! Customer service is as important to me as the product or service provided. Every person I encountered was extremely receptive and informative. Every concern I raised (and I raise many with every provider) was met enthusiastically and without a hint of resistance. Mike Nelson, the owner, was very helpful and patient with product selection. He is very responsive! Martha and Drew were also very helpful with their product insights for my situation. The project manager, Eric, was very accessible and kept me informed about the installation. Alex and Manuel, the installers, did an excellent job. The carpeting looks beautiful. The seems are impossible to see. Now that solid trust has been established, I would not hesitate to buy any type of flooring from these folks.

The installers were polite and efficient. They moved the furniture in each room and replaced it as it was found. They cleaned up each room when they were complete. It was amazing that it only took them 2 days.

Excellent! Through and through Carolina In Home Flooring and Design worked with us to find the best fit at the best price. As soon as I got them the deposit I was in touch with an installer to set a date. This call was on Monday, we were able to get the floors installed on Thursday! The installers themselves were awesome. Great guys who showed us the flooring they were installing and made sure everything was correct. The attention to detail was amazing and best of all the installation took 1 day!

Wow, can't say enough good things about the whole experience with this wonderful crew. Such a polite and considerate team . They always called prior to turning up and were never late. They worked around us including my elderly mother in law, cleaned up after themselves ,answered my many questions and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them . Oh , and the floors turned out fantastic .

Crew of three arrived, ripped out old vinyl, moved furniture and floored two rooms and a hall way in one day. Did trim work and clean up, floor looked fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the new flooring. We installed over concrete and floor has a layer of cork which gave the floor a soft cushion under your feet. Wonderful product.

The work itself was an 'A' getting to schedule was a pain. The price was just fine, not that it was the cheapest either. The work came out fine. They have bad communication between their departments. The scheduling department and the installers are kind of in different boats. They left me waiting one day because the scheduler didn't inform the installers of some changes.

Poorly. They showed up to give me an estimate but talked positively about only one flooring product and giving what seemed like inconsistent explanations of it's benefits. I was told I'd be sent an estimate in a few days but it's now more than three weeks later and I've heard nothing. I'm rating their prices as bad just based on the numbers mentioned in our discussion since I didn't get an estimate.

The people at Carolina In Home Flooring were great to work with. My first contact was with Drew who gave me the estimate of the cost. I also spoke with Martha and Eric who were in charge of payments and scheduling. The team who actually installed the floors did a superb job. The team was led by Fidel and included Juan and Alejandro. They were very dedicated and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend Carolina In Home Flooring & Design Center. I plan to use them again when I'm ready for my next flooring project.

We received an estimate from Drew and several others. Of them all, he was the most knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. His estimate was not the cheapest, but it was competitive. His guidance on the laminate and carpet type was exactly right. Oscar and his crew removed the old carpet and installed laminate in the entire upstairs of our house-- moved all furniture out and back -- and worked very efficiently. They were meticulous with the trim work and attention to details. They did the job in 2 days as estimated. Oscar and his crew were conscientious keeping the place clean and did a great job with no problems encountered. The carpet crew installed carpet on the back stairs on the 3rd day-- they were very professional and were conscientious keeping the place clean and did a great job with no problems. Martha Gerringer was very professional and timely with all the information and scheduling coordination.Mike Nelson -the owner- was readily available and the consummate professional The floor is beautiful and they were able to match the real oak hardwood floors on the 1st floor. Our house is complicated- lots of furniture, grand piano, and especially extensive consumer electronics (audio-visual, surround sound, internet, routers, etc.). As such, moving things around to tear out carpet and install wood required planning and expertise. The company sent two guys, Reynaldo and Dmytro; they started on Monday morning and worked hard eight to ten hours a day until Friday, and then came back on Saturday to finish resealing the refinished floors, and then again on Sunday to put all of the dining room furniture back (heavy stuff). Right now, (Sunday) I am sitting in my living room with all of the electronics hooked up, TV on, surround sound and wifi all working, and looking at a beautiful new wood floor in every direction. The guys just left. Point is - I thought this was going to be a royal pain and that we would probably have to go to a hotel! I was wrong - everything went really smoothly. Dmytro and Reynaldo were friendly and very nice, they knew what they were doing, figured out all the logistics, and worked work around us as much as possible. We never even had to move out of our bedroom at night although it took two days to finish in there. In fairness, we used pre-finished wood for the new areas and so there was no waiting for things to dry. I recommend this path. In short, everything went really well, we are very happy with results. I have already recommended the installers to a neighbor.

Would surely use this company again. The finished product is excellent . Installers were very professional and careful with the move of all the furniture. Only reason for not being an "A" rating is the original square footage on the carpet was done incorrectly and caused a delay in the install. Had to reorder additional carpet to finish the stairs and a closet. The issue was rectified in short order (3 to 4 days) but caused an unexpected delay. Owner of the company came out personally which was impressive and did a total re measurement to ensure no further issues would be encountered.

Worked with Martha for about six months before finally selecting a floor that worked for our family. She was never bothered by the many changes that I made. Process went smoothly. Project was overseen by Eric and the entire crew did a great job. The crew was Oscar, Gabriel, Evan and Peppe. Oscar did not want to leave until he was sure we were satisfied with everything. The owner, Mike Nelson, called me the day after the job was finished to make sure I was happy with the results. I highly recommend Carolina In Home Flooring. They came in, got the job done, cleaned up and now I have an absolutely beautiful floor! Thank you!

Drew came to our home several times to help select the carpet that would best fit for our use and style. He actually came over 3 different times and made us feel comfortable with him and his company doing the work that was desired. The installers were respectful, careful when moving furniture and did an overall excellent job installing carpet in 3 separate rooms. The project took most of the day and once complete they cleaned up very well. In particular, they were very careful to remove and reinstall our furniture with any issues.

It went great! There were 2 sets of people that came out to my townhome. One group installed the vinyl flooring and the other installed the carpet. They both called ahead and arrived on time. Both were thorough and provided high quality service. The flooring took most of the day to install; they came pretty early in the am and left between 4-5pm. They did such a great job! I am so thankful for all their hard work, professionalism, and making sure that I was fully satisfied with the work done before they left! Amazing company, amazing service!

Will not choose this provider because of initial contact.

I visited the shop on the morning of New Years Eve. I met Mike, the owner, and got good guidance from Val on carpet selection, and what we could expect for the installation process. Then Eric graciously came to our house the same day so we could view samples while he took careful measurements for our new carpet. After ripping out the old carpet (worth the low price of letting them do the work and disposal), the installation crew screwed some of the wood underlayer to stop creaks, and sprayed sealer in several locations to prevent previous pet stains from being detectable by future pets. Then they took care to install the carpet, especially making sure it was secure everywhere, including at the sides of each stair step. We really appreciated that Carolina did all they could to get the carpet and install it prior to our move-in date. It looks great!

It went great, they came on time, moved out all the furniture, removed the old carpeting & under-padding. They worked very clean & careful. They did a wonderful job laying the under-padding & carpet. When they finished they made sure everything was cleaned up & put all the furniture back. We couldn't have been more pleased. The customer service was excellent. We definitely would hire them again, a great company to do business with.

My wife and I had not purchased carpeting in a house for more than thirty years. Mike came out and gave us a concise education course on the kinds of materials and options available for our needs. We had a couple estimates for less money but really liked Mike's presentation and knowledge and after some negotiating, agreed to have him do the work. The installers, Santiago and Roya, did a very professional and neat job. It is easy for me to recommend the company to anyone looking for flooring work.

Hhe installation went very well. Carolina In home Flooring moved all the furniture. The installation was quick and the floor looks great. We did have one bubble that appeared in the floor, but the contractor returned and fixed the problem. We are very satisfied with our floor.

The initial consult went well, with prompt arrival, plenty of information, and allowed me to see available samples. They did not try to oversell me on flooring quality I didn't need and were very helpful. Since I was simply replacing low-grade vinyl in a Town House, I didn't really see a lot of samples, but if I was doing this for my own home I would probably like to see a greater assortment and variety, which it sounds like they have access to. The company also does a lot more than just vinyl. When it came time for install, the installer was a little late due to equipment trouble (cold weather), but finally arrived thirty minutes after the two hour window and did a very good quality job on the installation. What was estimated for a two and a half hour job took about four, and a few times for status I received phone calls initially in Spanish (one was a wrong number) from the contractor - which I do not speak -- though I was able to get them to put the other contractor on who spoke English. I'm not sure if they were regular employees or hired subs as they also had to come back by to get the signature form signed. They were very polite and easy to work with. All being said, the work was fine though and the cost was way better than expected. I would use them again.

Experience was positive but I decided to go with a different provider.

Apart from an initial challenge regarding materials needing to be picked up after arrival (Home Depot was close, thankfully), the job went very well. The quality of the work done by their contractors was fantastic, and every detail was confirmed through me when there was any question on a next step. I really wish we'd have had them do the half-bath, too.

To this date, I've never received the estimate on the flooring for the upstairs carpet, in the bedrooms. I didn't follow up because I figured if they were really interested I would have gotten it. I had to follow up with them to get the flooring estimate. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. I would say that the follow-up was lackluster, at best. There were no extra charges.

All four workers were meticulous in their work. Even the purchasing director, Eric, stop by to help put felt on all of my furniture. I highly recommend this company for all floor needs...
