Steve Taylor founded Capital Pest Services, Inc. in 1981 with the goal of providing residential and commercial customers in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area the highest-quality pest control services at the best possible value. Since our humble beginnings, our commitment has been to give every customer a world-class experience with the personal touch of a locally-owned and operated exterminator. Description of Work: Capital Pest Services sprayed my yard for mosquitos and ticks. I decided to purchase this service when my granddaughter got 6 to 8 mosquito bites while playing outside. Since the yard was sprayed we haven't seen any mosquitos. One advantage to using a certified pest control company is that they are allowed to use a more effective spray than companies that only spray for mosquitos because I was told that pest companies have to be certified and companies that only spray for mosquitos don't have to be certified. That's why Capital Pest Services only needs to spray once every 4 weeks compared to once every 3 weeks for companies that spray only for mosquitos. In the long run that saves money for the customer.

Description of Work: Signed up for monthly mosquito control service. It replaced another service which was more eco friendly but only kept mosquitoes away for about a week. This service lasts good four weeks, as advertised. The company tech I deal with is very busy but when they come to service, it's like they are servicing their own yard. Thorough and precise, does their best to spray around but not over my wife's organic veggie garden. Not the cheapest but I will stay with them for as long as they do what they do today. |

Description of Work: I paid for 3 treatments and have used many of the other providers doing the mosquito spraying. Capital Pest has been the best. I see less mosquito's than with the other companies and they actually show up when you schedule them ... unlike the other companies.
