Description of Work: My washer wouldn't spin. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

Description of Work: They identified a component of my ice maker that had broken. They didn't have the part on the truck with them, but they were back out within a couple of days with the part and fixed the problem. The technician was very helpful and provided insight into what had gone wrong and needed to be fixed.

Description of Work: Contacted them to have door pins on our fridge replaced. Provided the brand and model number info, was told the parts were readily available, quoted $10-15 for the parts and $80 for the service call. Agreed and set an appointment for the repair. Appointment time comes and we get a call saying the parts are not available, can we reschedule? Agreed, but not off to a great start. | |He arrived on time as rescheduled, and replaced the worn out door pins. Presented a bill for a flat, non-itemized $100 minus a 10% Angie's List discount, so pretty much right what we were told the cost would be. | |While there, we mentioned in passing that the icemaker was broken, and that a Sears service rep told us $108 for a new motor plus $214 in labor. Greg was shocked. He called me later to perform a test on the laser to make sure it was not the problem, then told me he'd replace the motor for a total of $100. He also told me that it could be that the entire icemaker would have to be replaced at a cost of $160. Then he made the winning offer: he'd replace the motor for $100 and if that didn't work, he'd come back, take off the new motor, replace the entire unit, and give me a full refund/credit so that it only cost an additional $60. No extra trip charge or labor. How do you beat that?

Description of Work: Replaced the cut-off in clothes dryer. Did a great job explaining what happened and recommended that the dryer vent be cleaned out. The cost was reasonable and I will definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: Repaired our dishwasher, which was leaking. Arrived ahead of schedule. Quick fix with clear knowledge about the issues these machines have. Good price. Will definitely use again for large appliance repairs.

Description of Work: My washing machine was spraying water out of a hose in the back of it. An extremely nice repairman (Clint) came, and in about 2 minutes he figured out what was wrong. The previous owner had evidently "rigged" up a contraption connecting the hose, and it had split. He explained everything to me and said to be sure to call him if anything else went wrong. I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Had to look up my records to respond to this review request. I asked them to visit to repair a non-functioning dryer. Two men came by, examined the unit, and said that to replace the electronic controls would cost about two thirds what an entirely new dryer would cost. They suggested that I would be better off purchasing a new unit, which is what I did. The reps only charged for the travel fee and not the possible repair cost.

Description of Work: Clogged defrost drain line in freezer resulted in refrigerator malfunction. Unclogged drain line and so far, problem appears to be resolved.
