Description of Work: Replace 2.5 tone airconditioner. Robery provided estimate on Saturday and answer ally questiond. David, the technician did great job to install the unit and answer my question. Even it took unexpectedly long time, he made sure everything is completed smoothly.Highly recommended.

Description of Work: I purchased an A/C tune up deal. I took a half day off work and they technician didn't show up. Then when I called them about it they said I would have to reschedule. I ended up getting a refund from Angie's List. I was upset that I had to call them about the technician not showing up, and that they didn't proactively let me know that he wasn't going to come.

Description of Work: We discovered a leak from the A/C system, running down from the attic onto the kitchen stove hood. They came the same day I called. The tech found the leak right away but he didn't have the correct parts to replace an old cracked plastic pipe. He left to get the part, returned and finished the job within an hour or so... I don't live close to any supply stores so he had a drive. The price for all this was very reasonable. I am very happy with their work.

Description of Work: We got the Year maintainance plan for upstairs/downstairs unit ($355) and replaced part/added freon for $200. They did not charge $79 service fee since we added a plan with them and they give 15% discount on all parts (and 1lb freon for free) They came out to the house same day and took their time to figure out the real problem. We had another company come out the day before and quoted us almost $3000 to repair the evaporator coil saying that it had a leak. Cape fear air showed us that there was in fact no leak and instead was another part that needed to bereplaced for ~$500. They saved us a lot of money. Highly recommend.

I have never experienced more professional, knowledgable, and reasonable HVAC service. Cape Fear Air is on my short list of favorite companies, period!

Description of Work: They did a lot of things to make sure our old heat pump continued to work. It needed a lot of work as it was very old. Said we would need $4,000 worth of work on it or purchase a new one. Had a person come out to give us a price for a new one. Went with a different company t purchase a new heat pump.

Description of Work: Installed Trane Heatpump. It went quickly and cleanly. No problems with the unit so far. Hopefully there won't be any. Recommended unit. Price was not the highest nor the lowest of my estimates. But, I did feel it was a very fair price for a quality unit. Thanks to Sales Rep Shane.

Description of Work: My ac was not cooling and they came out to identify the issue. I needed it to be replaced but could not afford to do it right away. They filled it with freon and also repaired a piece for the heating element to get me through the winter. Chris was great very professional and punctual. I will definately use them again when I replace my unit.
