Fayetteville, NC (910) 483-8790 and Raleigh, NC (919) 322-2000. We have been serving the Triangle and Fayetteville areas since 1973. Nobody knows Trane like we do...... We are the oldest Trane dealer in town! Our trained professionals sell, service and install all major brands as well. Description of Work: my home ac unit was blowing hot air. The special was home a/c tune up with up to a pound of refrigerant. The tech came out and looked at it and said the compressor was gone and needed to be replaced at a cost of about $2000.00- $2200.00. The next day another a little older gentleman from the company out the next day and said the system itself need to be replaced and it was going to cost about $5600.00!!!!!!! | |Just by chance I was talking with one of my customers who is a wholesale supplier and trying to see if I could save myself some money by ordering the parts through him. He did not say anything except to call a guy they use. | |This gentleman out and was prompt and professional he took a look at the system and told me I had a leaking piston and needed about 4 pounds of refrigerant. $250.00 !!!!!! later I had cold air coming out of my vents less than a hour. | |I don't know if Cape Fear guys were just inexperience or had other motives but I will not be calling them again.
