I highly recommend Joe Dunn from Cape Fear AC/Heating and Electrical for anyone who needs an electrician. Cape Fear AC, Heating, and Electrical was offering an especially low price for electrical services, labor only, so I took advantage of it. I am not going to tell you the price since it was so low while still being a terrific value. The electrician, Joe Dunn, called. We talked about the work I needed done and the electrical material I should purchase to save even more money. We scheduled work for the next day. I had done some up-front research about electrical materials such as what gauge wire and what amp breakers to use for different applications, so I was comfortable about going to a building supplies store (which offers a military/veterans discount) and bought the items that evening. Joe showed up the next morning, when expected, and was always friendly and a very knowledgeable professional. We talked about my priority list of 3 tasks. I appreciate that he kept me informed every step of the way, actively listened to me, and answered all my questions and concerns. He worked fast, got all 3 tasks completed, and did superb work of high value. I am particularly pleased to have found an electrician I can afford and trust. I will call upon Joe Dunn at Cape Fear for my future electrical needs. Thanks so very much!

Went well. Good guy. Answered questions and taught me about my system. The company, though, was going to charge me $49 more to do a second system in my house during the visit (vs $39 for the one). I had another company come do the second. Odd that they wouldn't want the extra work while they were already here.

Excellent. Joe was punctual, he didn't assume anything and confirmed what we wanted done. His work was excellent and he left the rooms as he found them. We will definitely use them again for any electrical projects

Technician quickly found the problem, and clearly explained what was going on. He also checked the furnace side of the unit thoroughly to confirm no other issues that might warrant replacing the entire gas pack before I invested in replacing the motor. Everything checked out fine, so we just replaced the motor. While he did not have the motor in his truck, he did run to get one. Now everything is running fine. I was so happy, I decided to switch to their yearly service contract, which actually got us a better deal on the entire servicing. So the price included both 1/2 of the service contract plus the repair costs. Overall, very professional, courteous, and timely.

A capacitor was replaced. Everything else, including the ducts, checked out good. Brandon, the technician, performing the work was excellent. He had all the qualities you would want in any kind of service. He was nice, knowledgeable, explained everything and why he was doing it. Brandon is the guy I will be asking for at the next service call.

Well, no-refrigerant required. When I've hired yearly maintenance programs the past 5 years they've charged $80. gallon, but this year when freon offered as part of project no freon req'd. AC ran just as well over summer, so I suspect others are guilty of "fraus"

Luckily, I had invested some time researching Angie’s list. Naturally, I was looking for the top performing companies and for loads of happy A’s. That’s how I found Cape Fear! My service tech, BTW, was sharp and very professional. I enjoyed doing business with the whole Raleigh Cape Fear team, as it turned out. I'm buying a home in a golf course community across town, as I write this review. The Sellers at that property are working with me to resolve some, hopefully, small issues with their HVAC units (so that this sale will run smoothly). Though, I just researching their HVAC provider’s (1.5 stars … gulp!) rating --and his one page "pricey" report. Looked like very hefty charges (to the Sellers) for what is listed as a “quick fix". I am sure I will want to do my own system inspection, now. And, Cape Fear can give me that peace of mind.

We are mostly happy, but wish some of the crew were a little more professional. Justin was great, but some of his crew left dust, dirt, and grit all over our belongings downstairs. Nothing was covered before work began, nor were we informed to cover our things. Drywall, sawdust, chunks of debris were all over our electronics, office furniture, table and chairs (shoe prints on chairs), even baby pictures, it was a disaster. Some of the work just looks sloppy (not properly fastened, etc). We will most likely buy another unit from this company because they had the best price for what we were looking for, but we will be speaking with Justin first to make sure his crew take a little more care with their work/workspace.

They were great I am very very pleased with the work. They explained exactly what the problem was and taught me what to do to prevent the issue from happening again. They checked the entire unit to make sure there was nothing else that could go wrong.

It went pretty well. It was $49. I had a coupon. There was no extra charges. They checked the air conditioner to make sure that everything on the relay was fine and checked the freon. They were there before the time that they were supposed to be there.

Work was completed in two days . Excellent job.

which went far beyond any previous "standard" spring checkup. Brandon also share technical details of the tests and results. Not everyone wants to hear, but I am very interested and learned a lot about HVAC from Brandon . I have already made an appointment for the same service for my new house!

Installed a Capacitor, cost $110.00. Same Capacitor can be purchased for less than $25.00 at any electric supply store.

They were good. As for price, I didn’t do a lot of research.
